Athlete Village is under construction in Harumi, Chuo-ku. When the foundation work is completed, the building will rise steadily. A large crane moved behind the cruise ship anchored at the Harumi Passenger Ship Terminal, and the new building gradually began to appear. From now on, this city will change greatly.
As many of you may know, there used to be an "international fair venue" in this area, which was crowded with many corporate stakeholders and spectators. As time passes, Harumi is reborn as a new base for international exchange.
This month, the road, Ring No. 2, which is the main artery connected to Harumi, was provisionally opened, creating new logistics and flow of people. At the time of the Olympics in 2020, a new transportation system (BRT) will be opened. I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of face this city will show at that time.
