Kakome Tori-no-ichi Fair

[The Monkey] Nov. 28, 2018 12:00

Tori-no-ichi Fair, a feature of November, had up to the third rooster this year, and the city was also opened at Tsukiji's Namiki Shrine. It is said in a popular belief that there are many fires in the year with the third rooster, but this is said from a commandment that not to start a fire because the cold becomes severe and the opportunity to use fire increases. It seems to have come to be said. In prayer for the good luck of the coming year, the blessing of the ribbon and the prosperity of business, people buy kumade's charms.

In this kumade of lucky items, it is called "cool and hakome" with the wish of "squeezing fortune." Until the early days of the Tenpo era in Edo, it was a shame and four-handed item of kumade, which was then put on various lucky items and shaped like it is now.

I hope that the inside market will move to Toyosu and the outside market that remains in Tsukiji, "Business prosperity" will come true next year.
