Minobu Betsuin Earent Information (1) Let's give fortune with oil!

[Hanes] 18:00 on January 20, 2019

Hello. I'm a new correspondent, Hanes.
The other day, when I took a walk in Kodemmacho, I stopped by Minobu Betsuin.
Here, the wooden Nichiren Shonin seated statue (Tokyo designated Tangible Cultural Property) with crystal eyes is famous.
In fact, there are a lot of interesting things besides that.
So, I would like to introduce the charm of Minobu Betsuin, which makes you want to drop in twice.

This time we will focus on "Oiling Daikokuten".
At the Flower Festival, we pour sweet tea into Historical Buddha, but we come here to Daikokuten where you can always add oil throughout the year....
I was worried about it and checked it out.

[I said] ※There are various theories.
In Fushimi, Kyoto, there is a town called "Ayukake-cho", and in the past, oil merchants accidentally poured oil on stone statues on the roadside.
There has been a legend that business has flourished since then.
Mrs. Shige of Showa's famous actor Kazuo Hasegawa from Fushimi, is deeply devoted to Shinto and Buddha.
Soon after the war, I accidentally dreamed of this oil-filled Tenjin,
I got a message from patron saint of academics to worship in Tokyo and connect with many people.
Therefore, as a result of consulting with head priest Nichijo Fujii Shonin of Minobu Betsuin at that time,
I was going to worship at Minobu Betsuin.

Benefits
Prosperous business, good luck, safe delivery

Even if you look nationwide, there are not many shrines and temples that worship the oiled Daikokuten.
When you come near, why don't you pray with oil on Daikokuten?
