The Sumida River Ohashi is the only two-tiered bridge that spans the Sumida River. The upper part is the Metropolitan Expressway, and the lower part is a functional bridge with general roads and sidewalks. I have been asked for the Chuo-ku Tourism Test.
My personal impression is that the whole view of the bridge is not very distinctive, but from this bridge you can see the contrasting bridges of both Eitai Bridge and Kiyosu Bridge.
<< << Eitai Bridge This is a previous photo and is currently under construction. >>>>
<<<<<<I am currently under construction at Kiyosu Bridge here. >>>>
Looking at the structural point, it is supported separately from the part that supports the lower bridge girder and the upper part.
<<<< the pier supporting the bridge girder >>>>
<<<<<<< Supports the Metropolitan Expressway above >>>>>
<<<<<<<<< This part does not support the general road below) >>>>>
Looking at the upper section of the capital highway Hakozaki direction, not only the two steps but also another further above, and the Hakozaki Junction looks like a maze.
<<<<<<< In this part, it is even more above >>>>
<<If you look at the direction of Hakozaki Junction, the Metropolitan Expressway is like a maze and is exactly necessary.>>>
<<<<<<This seismic reinforcement was not available before. >>>>
As you can see not only on the bridge but also on the bottom, there are facilities that support social infrastructure.
