Tsukiji Fish Market

[CAM] June 4, 2017 09:00

Recently, I've been busy with my personal affairs, and I've never been posting blog posts. I received an e-mail from an American woman who took care of me last year, and at the end of May, I was invited to visit Tsukiji Market again this year.

The meeting is at the entrance of Tsukiji Honganji. First of all, look at the auditorium and restroom time.

After that, we toured a little inside the newly built Tsukiji Uogashi building.

In addition, after a little bit of an out-of-market market, we will go to the in-market market.

IMG_3456.JPGThe party then went from Tsukiji Market Station to Ryogoku Station. After lunch in both countries, they will see the sumo wrestling. I had a goodbye after seeing me off to Ryogoku Station.

This is the first time that you can see such a large pre-war aerial photograph on a web map of Japan, and it is expected to be used in situations such as surveying old land and school education in the future.
In some cases, aerial photographs are painted in white or black, and there are parts where the situation is unknown, but this is derived from the original aerial photographs taken before the war.

Rebuilding of Chuo-ku government office building

[CAM] April 28, 2017 14:00

On April 26, the Yomiuri Shimbun Tokyo area reported about the rebuilding of the 47-year-old and aging Chuo-ku government office building. . In order to rebuild to the current address, it is necessary to move twice in conjunction with the relocation to the temporary government building, and the cost is high, so the plan to relocate to the current Brossam site is also influential. However, the current location is the historic site of the Tsukiji House of the Tosa Domain, and it is said that there are voices that will spare the relocation.

According to Monoshiri Encyclopedia, "This area was the place where the Tosa clan Yamauchi family worshiped in 1826 (1826), and there was a clan residence here. It is said that the Yamauchi family used it as a Nakayashiki or Shimoyashiki. Toyoshige Yamanouchi, the 15th generation of feudal lord during the late Tokugawa shogunate period, is known to have led the Meiji Restoration along with Satsuma and Choshu. It is said that Sakamoto Ryoma, the Shishi of late Tokugawa shogunate, went to a dojo in Sadakichi Chiba while staying at this clan residence. There is an explanation board next to the annex of Chuo-ku government office. "It is said.

Sakuragawa Park (April 7, 2017)

[CAM] April 11, 2017 18:00

On April 7th (Fri), the weather was cloudy in the morning.

From the morning, pick up an acquaintance staying at Tsukiji Honganji Evangelical Hall.

The "Evange Hall" is located on the right side of Honganji Temple and has accommodations. It was a reasonable price, and my acquaintance was pleased.

After that, along with an acquaintance, walk to Hatchobori Kuminkan. Many of the inhabitants' halls in Chuo-ku are located in a convenient location and have reasonable fees, which is helpful for poor NPOs. Before that, the cherry blossoms were almost in full bloom at Sakuragawa Park.
