[Ginza 6-chome] The cold Inaba udon "Ginza Yosuke Sato" is perfect for summer.

[Ino-chan] July 28, 2017 09:00

The harsh heat continues, how are you all?

Today, I would like to introduce some Inaba udon shops that can be enjoyed even in hot summers.

IMG_9840.JPG

IMG_9821.JPG

Inaba udon is one of Japan's three largest udon noodles and is a specialty of Akita Prefecture.

Founded in the first year of Mannobu (1860), he continues to preserve traditional techniques by hand by craftsmen.
It is said that no one knows the name of Yosuke Sato Shoten in Akita Prefecture.

Ginza Yosuke Sato is a shop where you can taste such authentic Inaba udon in Chuo-ku.

Here's what I ordered this time.

IMG_9835.JPG

Two flavors
There are two types of soup, soy sauce and sesame. The beautiful udon is shiny.
It was a smooth texture and chewy texture, and it was delicious enough to eat forever.

IMG_9834.JPG

Thai curry two flavors

This is also two flavors. Green curry and red curry. It seems to be a popular menu since its opening.
The spices contained in curry also work to rejuvenate the stomach, and it is recommended in summer when appetite tends to decrease.

IMG_9819.JPG

In addition to Inaba udon, we also have Kiritanpo pots and water-cooking Hinauchi chicken with regional cuisine in Akita Prefecture.

There is a course where you can enjoy locally brewed sake, and the store also sells dried noodles and soup souvenirs.

You can purchase souvenirs without having to eat. Good as a gift.
I want to eat well in summer and survive the heat.

[Tsukiji] Italian restaurant "Tsukiji Nora" Pasta lunch at Ura Tsukiji

[Ino-chan] June 30, 2017 09:00

Do you know the area called "Ura-Tsukiji"?
Crossing Harumi-dori St. from Tsukiji Market, from behind Tsukiji Honganji to around Akashicho.
If you hear "back", it will be fun to take a walk with a feeling of a vine.

This time, I would like to introduce the Italian restaurant "Tsukiji Nora" in Ura-Tsukiji.

We had lunch only on weekdays.

IMG_9578.JPG

The menu changes depending on the season.

For lunch on this day, we could choose from 4 kinds of pasta and hamburgers.

All the menus come with salads and focaccia, and the hamburger also comes with soups.

900 yen including tax. It's reasonable, isn't it?

 IMG_9577.JPG

Salad

It's refreshing with simple seasoning.

Pasta

Anchovie cream sauce of summer vegetables. You can also use it for free.

It was nice to have coffee.

It seems that it is a service when you come to the store after 13 o'clock.

 IMG_9568.JPG

The staff is bright and refreshing.

It is a very nice shop where you can easily drop in by yourself.

The dinner menu is also available. It is also recommended for those who like alcohol.

[Higashiginza] South Indian dish "Dharmasagara (Dharmasagara)"

[Ino-chan] May 29, 2017 09:00

Enjoy authentic Indian cuisine while looking at Indian-style temples

The restaurant I would like to introduce this time is a South Indian restaurant.

When I visited for the first time, I was fascinated by the scenery seen from this window.

IMG_9500.JPG

It's Tsukiji Honganji.

Here in Dharmasagara (Dharmasagara), this beautiful ancient Indian style main hall

You can enjoy authentic South Indian cuisine while looking at it.

What is South Indian cuisine?

India has a large land and has different climates depending on the region.

There is also a difference in temperature between the north and south, and there are differences in crops and cooking methods.
Indian cuisine can be broadly divided into South Indian cuisine and North Indian cuisine.

When it comes to Indian cuisine, there are many people who think of curry to eat with Nan.

Isn't it? Match with rich curry made with animal fat such as butter

The style of staple food made from flour baked Nan and Chapatty is often seen in Japan.

They are North Indian cuisine.

Dharmasagara specializes in South Indian cuisine.

Curry is less oily and smooth, and has a sour and light taste.

Because there are abundant menus centered on beans and vegetables, and rice is the staple food.
The shop owner also says that it only fits the taste of Japanese people.

"Meirs" set meal of South Indian cuisine

What I ordered was "Meals B Set Vegetable Course" (2,000 yen excluding tax).

Meals is a set meal of South Indian cuisine, from side dishes to staple food on a single plate.
IMG_9510.JPG

Polyyal (fried vegetable spices). It was a good day.

IMG_9517.JPG

Curry is a sambaru of beans and vegetables. In the back is a sour soup, rassam.

IMG_9516.JPG

On the back of the fluffy fried bread called Pully in the middle, a spicy fried rice cracker papad was hidden.

It is recommended not only to eat it as it is, but also to crush it with crispy and mix it with curry to enjoy the change in texture.

IMG_9514.JPG

The side menu chooses Masarawada, which is often eaten in South India (fried coarsely ground chickpeas).
It has a sauce of coconut.
The use of coconut milk and coconut oil is also a characteristic of South Indian cuisine.

IMG_9515.JPG
Next to Masara Wada is lemon achar (picrus) and herb chatsune (paste-like condiment).
I mix it little by little with curry, but this is refreshing and really delicious.

In addition, lighters (yogurt salad) and jasmine rice were on board.

Each meal is placed in a small vessel, but there is enough quantity and everything.

By the time I finished eating, my stomach and heart were filled.

In a quiet and calm shop. A relaxing time is flowing.

IMG_9499.JPG

It was a time when I thought about India far from Chuo-ku.

[Higashinihombashi] Recommended Thai food "Bankoklara Cafeteria"

[Ino-chan] April 18, 2017 09:00

I came to find a shop with a fun name. The name is Bancoklara Cafeteria.

I'm a Thai restaurant in Higashinihombashi.

The word "Larara" seems to have the meaning of "Nobi-ri" and "Raku-ni" in Thailand.

IMG_7279.JPG

The shop is on the second floor, so we go up the stairs. The clerk greeted me with a smile.

The interior of the store was very comfortable with a nostalgic atmosphere.

IMG_0085.jpg

IMG_7271.JPG

Well, what I chose from the lunch menu...

Popular number one "Kao Mangai = steamed chicken and cooked rice (with soup)"

The sauce with ginger was delicious.

IMG_0080.jpg

"Gaigapao = chicken ground meat and holly basil fried rice (with fried egg)"

I'm full of stomach.

IMG_0084.jpg

"Tom Yam Kun Mini United States Noodles"

The soup had an exquisite balance between spicy and sour taste. I want to eat it again!

There was also a "mini-mini draft beer" that would be nice when you wanted to drink a little bit.

IMG_0076.jpg

There are plenty of mini-size side menus, so you can enjoy various combinations.

The lunch time on this day was not interrupted by customers.

There were a lot of people. It was very popular.

Lara Cafeteria, "Nobi-ri" and "Lak-ni" are recommended!
