Hisamatsu Elementary School's "Celebration portable shrine" is held at the 28th Oedo Festival Opening Parade in Chuo-ku.‼

The 28th "Chuo-ku Oedo Festival Bon Dance Festival", which celebrates the 70th anniversary of the central ward system, was held grandly at Hamacho Park on August 25 and 26. This festival is famous as an event unique to Chuo-ku. The sight of the children walking around amazake Yokocho, carrying the portable shrine produced at a municipal elementary school in Ningyocho on the 25th. This year, I interviewed Hisamatsu Elementary School.

Hisamatsu Elementary School was founded in 1873 as the second elementary school in 1873 (7-2, Nihonbashi-kumatsucho, Chuo-ku), the second elementary school in the first junior high school district, with a huge donation from the descendant of Iyomatsuyama feudal lord, Rubber Hisamatsu. The 145th anniversary of the opening of the school in 2017, and the Hisamatsu Kindergarten (opened in 1941) on the same site will also celebrate the 75th anniversary of the opening of the school, and the ceremony will be held on October 21. It's an elementary school with a long history. The first school-Sakamoto Elementary School, the second school-Hisamatsu Elementary School, the fourth school-Tokiwa Elementary School, and the sixth school-Arima Elementary School are elementary schools in Chuo-ku, which were established in 1873. It is true that four of the 16 elementary schools have a history of 145 years, but it can be said that "Chuo-ku of Education".

 

It is the land of Nihonbashi, which has a history and tradition, and has made its regular business in commerce that mainly deals with kimono and accessories related to it. In addition, it is an area that retains the “Stylish and Inase” Edo culture represented by Hamacho and Yanagibashi. Based on the idea of "business with customers", good and comfortable etiquette and behavior are emphasized.

 

His Majesty the Emperor Showa, Empress of Japan. At the 100th anniversary ceremony of the founding, the Crown Prince (now Emperor Imagami) and Princess Yukiyuki. The 110th anniversary ceremony of the opening of the school was held by His Imperial Highness Princess Tokuhito. The 120th anniversary of the opening of the school, the Imperial Highness Princess Fumihito Akishinomiya. The 130th anniversary ceremony of the opening of the school consisted of His Imperial Highness Princess Hitachi and Princess Hitachi. The 140th anniversary of the opening of the school, Prince Fumihito Akishinomiya and His Imperial Highness Princess Kako visited the school. At the same time, there is something that shines in the content of education. Dr. Hiroaki Sakai, principal of Hisamatsu Elementary School, told us that he practices educational activities with the spirit of challenging a new era in tradition. Number of children 600 (as of September 1, 2017)

You are also focusing on research. It has been designated by Chuo-ku, Tokyo as the "Olympic and Paralympic Education Promotion School", and has a great track record from FY2015 to FY2017. . I would like to introduce some of the research presentations.

School buildings and facilities-It is a wonderful school building that has been renovated and renovated in 2016. Both the exterior and interior value harmony with the existing school building, use a lot of wood, and finish the color of wood carving. The 6th floor pool and arena (Hisamatsu Sky Pool & Clean Arena) is used in harmony with pale colors and school colors to secure physical education time and play space. Because of the movable floor, it is used as a 25m pool that can move up and down during swimming instruction and have a water depth suitable for the grade. In the season when there is no swimming instruction, the floor is raised and used as an arena as a playground for physical education and breaks. It is also open to kindergartens and nearby nursery schools.

Famous graduates-Poet poet Michizo Tachihara (Michizo Tachihara, born July 30, 1914 (Daisho 3)-March 29, 1939 (Showa 14)) A poet in the early Showa era, at the age of 13, he compiled a collection of songs "Katsushikashu", "Ryogoku Kanginshu", and a collection of poems "Crystalren". Posted to "Shika", published the story "Ahimi Te no Chinochi" in "Alumni Association Magazine". Launched his own poem collection "Kokage". Compiled a collection of four-line poems "Safran". Produced a collection of poems "Sunday" and "Walking Poetry". Graduated from the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering, Tokyo Imperial University, and joined Ishimoto Architectural Office to design "Toyota Uji Sanso". The story "Ayu no Uta" was published in "Bungei", published and published in succession with the poetry collection "Yufusugebito no Uta", the poetry collection "Yukikusa", and "Aki and Evening Poetry". Showed his talent in both architecture and poetry. In 1939 (Showa 14), he received the first Chuya Nakahara Award, but died at the age of 24 due to tuberculosis. In addition to poetry, he left tanka poetry, Haiku, stories, pastel paintings, sketches, architectural drawings, etc. Many people still resonate with the gentle poetry style of Dozo, and several collections of paperback books have been published. (Source: wikipedia) At the Alumni Association, we have handed down the achievements of Michizo Tachihara, who died young, in a letter from the Alumni Association.

 

"Celebration portable shrine" produced one portable shrine and two garments (kindergarten and elementary school) were produced by nearly 30 children from 3.4 years. Parents also helped together and carefully made the final finish with their hearts. A wonderful "Celebration portable shrine" with a simple design has been completed. The commemorative photo is a good face with a sense of accomplishment, mainly in portable shrine.

17:00 The Oedo Festival “Celebration portable shrine” gathered at the school grounds of Hisamatsu Elementary School - A total of 117 students from the first to fourth grades of 600 children from all schools gathered. The 1.2th graders had blue balloons and the 3.4th graders were portable shrine, so they waited for their departure now or now. From amazake Yokocho to Hamacho Park, portable shrine crosses the pedestrian crossing along Kiyosubashi Street. Up to this point, the 3.4th graders parade with a lively shout while changing the bearer. Many police officers, PTAs, communities, and wards support the traffic safety of children.

We crossed the pedestrian crossing on Hamacho Park Street and entered the green road in front of Hamacho Park. It's a little more Hamacho Athletic Field. To this point, the shout "Washoi" of Hisamatsu Elementary School resonates vigorously. It's finally time to enter. The fan, wear, celebration portable shrine and the platoon are beautiful without breaking down.

The 117 children arrived at portable shrinedai at Hisamatsu Elementary School in Hamacho Playground, starting with "Celebration portable shrine". Everyone's faces were uplifting and full of fulfillment. Until the end, it was the moment when my feelings became one. Parents waiting for the exercise also warmly welcomed the children.

After successfully setting up the “celebration mikoshi” at the Oedo Festival venue, Hisamatsu Elementary School PTA Chairman Koichiro Murakami was on the lead and clapping. . It was cool. The children disbanded while smiling with the parents who came to pick me up.

18:30-Oedo Festival Opening: Woodworking, ladder riding, wearing "Edo Fire Memorial Party", Bon Dance.
