Flower of Hamarikyu Garden

[Yurikamome] August 20, 2009 09:00

Obon holidays are over and autumn in the world of Haiku.

I went to Hamarikyu for the first time in a long time.

Hamarikyu is said to be a nationally designated special scenic spot and special historical site.

Koishikawa Korakuen has become a nationally designated special historic site and a special scenic spot.

In Tokyo, only these two gardens have been selected as historical sites and scenic spots, but Hamarikyu places more emphasis on scenic spots than historical sites, and Koishikawa Korakuen places more emphasis on historical sites than scenic spots. It seems to express this kind of expression because it is.

If anything, I think Hamarikyu is a Western-style, flat garden with a variety of colors, and a garden that foreigners prefer.

Kibana cosmos is at its peak, but I will also introduce other flowers.

The following is the early blooming of cosmos that begins to bloom from the end of Kibana cosmos in September.

Various types of cosmos will bloom until the end of October.

It is a flower that blooms only for one day.

It is white in the morning, but it turns pink in the afternoon and dark red in the evening.

Yabumiga ... When the flower is over, the fruit grows, but the fruit initially looks like a jade.                                          It turns into turquoise blue and becomes black fruit.

I think the state of the change is very beautiful.

Coralage ... A large number of white florets open densely in June and July, but I like the oval fruit time.

In September and October, this red fruit turns blue and black.

golden lace, balloon flower, loosestrife and Tama hydrangea were also in bloom, but the number of photos is increasing and it is omitted.

But I saw a rare butterfly near loosestrife.

I was flying far beyond my reach, but I couldn't put it in my camera.

It seemed that many Akiakane flew around and let them know that it was autumn.

The Reisai Festival of Sumiyoshi-jinja Shirine was held on August 6 and 7 every year.

This year was not the main festival once every three years, but the festival was held in main hall on the 6th.

From 2:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. in Kagura Hall on the 7th, three stories of Edo-ri Kagura were introduced by Taneo Wakayama Shrine.

portable shrine (Citizen's Tangible Folk Cultural Property) was dedicated in Tenpo 9 (1838).

It is also called the octagon portable shrine because it is said that the octagonal shape was imitated by the emperor's throne.

I took it from outside the glass, so the outside light reflected and I couldn't take it well.

It is not open to the public.

Saturday, August 8 Tokyo Bay Fireworks Festival

[Yurikamome] August 11, 2009 09:00

On August 8th, the Tokyo Bay Fireworks Festival was held. (19:00 to 20:20)

Blue seats for the grandstands were laid neatly in the special seat of Harumi Wharf (north side of Harumi Wharf Park) two days ago, and work boats for fireworks launch were lined up the day before.

It was cloudy on the day, but it was a perfect condition with moderate wind. Around 18 o'clock, many houseboats gathered and beautifully colored the surface before the fireworks were launched.

Are you conscious of the Olympics seven years from now? ? ・・ ・ ・ ・ ・ ・ Fireworks of the Olympic mark also appeared, entrusting dreams to the future.

And this year, as usual, 12,000 fireworks were launched to decorate the summer night sky.

The origin of the fireworks display in Edo

At the time of the 8th Shogun Yoshimune, at the Mihama Goten (currently Hamarikyu), the gun of the Shogunate raises the smoke.

It is said that Kagiya Yahee saw the toy fireworks.

On the night of the Water God Festival, which prays for the eradication of illness and memorial service for the dead in 1717, fireworks were presented on the Sumida River as an entertainment.

It was later the origin of the fireworks.

When the Ryogoku River opened, it seems that fireworks were launched downstream from the bridge.
