Toto Norenkai Nihonbashi Benmatsu Sohonten

[Yurikamome] July 28, 2010 08:30

It is a collection of long-established brands in Tokyo.

These stores were founded in the Edo period and early Meiji period, and have 53 long-established stores in Tokyo with a history of more than 300 years and over 100 years.

All right. It was born in the Edo period when it was called a downtown area and was the busiest castle.

Nihonbashi Benmatsu Sohonten (1850) Founded in 1850 (1850) Japan's first folded lunch box specialty store

200 years ago, it was Higuchi-ya, a restaurant started by the first Yoichi on the east bank, where the fish shore was at the time.

Because men who are busy working on the riverbank often left half of rice and side dishes, Yoichi left the leftover bamboo.

I wrapped it in my skin and gave it.

This care gained a reputation, and orders to "wrap from the beginning" increased, and food was served at the time of the third generation Matsujiro.

We folded the place and opened a folding lunch specialty store "Benmatsu".

(The lunch box shop Matsujiro has become "Benmatsu")

        998.- (Red rice ¥1,155.-)

The above is my recommendation.

At first, I thought that Benmatsu's lunch box was a rich taste, but I came to like Benmatsu's lunch box I bought at Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store. It is a unique and delicious "Edo taste".

Benmatsu Bento's lunch is the reason for getting caught ...

The fact that it is in a wooden box is also a great appetite and I like it.

It excels in sterilizing and permeability of permeable trees.

No additives are used for cooking and preservation, and all the finished products are broken and packed.

What I am most pleased is that President Higuchi is making lunch boxes in the kitchen with his employees.

You can buy a lunch box at the Mitsukoshi Main Store Takashimaya Main Store Daimaru (Tokyo Station) and Nihonbashi Ben Matsumoto Store.

In addition to the eight types of lunch boxes, there are also upper lunches, and there are many other types of "folded dishes".

There are also sea bream tail and red rice.

Lunch lunch boxes are often eaten by customers immediately, so the container is not a kyogi, so the price is low only at the head office and only at lunch time.

We recommend that you try it once.

※ The factory is scheduled to be moved near Eitai Bridge in January next year.

While you were busy, we spoke with President Higuchi.

A meeting to wash the famous bridge Nihonbashi Children's Activities

[Yurikamome] July 27, 2010 08:30

Sunday, July 25 "Meeting for Washing Nabashi Nihonbashi" was held.
In 1968, a local volunteer launched the “Nabashi Nihonbashi Washing Association” and this event is held every year with the cooperation of many participants, including preservation associations, local town associations, local companies, and other administrative agencies.
We will temporarily stop road traffic and refine the traditional Nihonbashi area.

Adult work is almost over, but the children are still working hard.

It is a real road sign that is in the center of the bridge and cannot be seen, but the children are polishing it well.

Mitsui Main Building (National Important Cultural Property)

[Yurikamome] July 15, 2010 13:00

After the Great Kanto Earthquake of 1923 ... Completed in 1929 (1929) ... 7 floors above ground and 2 floors below ground.

It was built to withstand earthquakes twice as large as the Great Kanto Earthquake.

In the main building, the Chuo Mitsui Trust Bank is currently operating, and in the basement, there is still a safe that was installed as the best safe in the East at that time.

I'd like to introduce you to the luxurious safe door.

   2010_0714 safe door 1.JPG

Produced by Americusler

Circular door diameter of the safe ... 250cm thickness ... 55cm    Weight: It is a special steel of 50 tons.

Alloy steel with a large expansion rate is assembled in a sandwich shape to prepare for fire.

At that time, when carrying in, permission was not granted to carry on Nihonbashi (at that time wooden) due to weight restrictions, so he carried it by boat to the side of Shin-Tokiwa Bridge and transported it to the Mitsui Main Building late at night.

The above two photos were taken in attendance with the permission of the bank after explaining the circumstances.

Thank you very much for your kindness.

Tsukishima Kusa City Saturday, July 10 11 (Sun)

[Yurikamome] July 11, 2010 22:11

This year, Tsukishima Kusa City, full of downtown atmosphere, was opened.

At the Tsukishima Nishinaka-dori shopping street, which is about 500 meters long, the stalls are filled and it is finally possible to walk.

There were nostalgic shops such as shaved ice, takoyaki, goldfish scooping, tama scooping, treasure lottery, quoits, grilled corn, etc., and it was crowded with many adults and children.

Last year was 3 days on July 12, 13, and 14, but this year it was 10, 11 and 2 days.

dancing girl of Bon Odori did not have many children like last year, so I couldn't take pictures well because of the light.

Last year's photos on December 12, 13 and 14 were better.

The seven herbs in autumn and Kibana cosmos in one corner began to bloom in Hamarikyu.

[Yurikamome] July 11, 2010 20:34

Even though the rainy season has not yet begun, the seven herbs of autumn have begun to bloom in Hamarikyu.

White butterflies, monkey butterflies, black swallowtails, etc. are playing.

           Fujihakama (Kikyo)

Kibana cosmos (not the seven herbs in autumn)

       2010_0710 7 Kibana Cosmos. JPG

The whole 3,000 square meters of land will become a cosmos field a little further away, but in one corner.

      It was blooming well.

The place where it becomes a flower garden is the site of the magistrate's residence in the Edo period, but tennis courts began around 1948 after the war.

There was a time when I did it.

Hamarikyu is about 10 days on Friday and Saturday from July 16 to August 14 (Sat), but will open from 8:00 in the morning.

This is to respond to foreign visitors coming to see you early in the morning.

When you enter the park at 8 o'clock, you don't know if you can practice English conversation with the refreshing feeling of the morning.

giboshi Kuroeya in Nihonbashi

[Yurikamome] July 6, 2010 14:00

      2010_0705 Nihonbashi Giboshi. JPG

Right next to Nihonbashi, Kuroeya's show window was decorated with giboshi in Nihonbashi.

Genroku 2 (1689), a famous lacquerware production area, a person who came to Edo from Nagusa Kuroe Village (now Hainan City) in Kii Kuni (1689)

It started with the opening of a lacquerware shop in Nihonbashi.

It has been 300 years since the curtain was raised on the side of Nihonbashi.

After the war, during the turmoil, there was a time when various items other than lacquerware were placed in stores.

One day, an antique shop mistakenly for a secondhand dealer and came to sell giboshi when Nihonbashi was wooden.

It seems that this was also a connection for something, and it was taken over and left as it was, but if you look closely ...

"September 1658 Bo Dog Year (1658) September 1658 lucky day Nihonbashi Carpenter Shiina Hyogo" was engraved.

Many people who understand that it is the right thing of history are displayed on the show case at the entrance of the building.

The portable shrine at Nihonbashi 1-chome is made to imitate this giboshi.

Confectionery utensils and clocks ... painted clocks are likely to be appreciated as souvenirs to foreign countries.

Pendant: The fine pattern is beautifully finished.

I put lacquer on a basket made of bamboo.

It seems that the more you use it, the more you see it. It's wonderful as a summer bag.

I thought it would be good for a wedding gift or a souvenir to foreign countries.

We handle a lot of goods, but the above are some of my attention.

In addition, we also repair old lacquerware.

If you repair something you have forgotten in the house, it will be revived beautifully.
