Hamarikyu Yamaboshikawaba hydrangea mulberry fruit blows the breeze of early summer

[Yurikamome] May 27, 2011 10:00

When I left Japan for a while and visited Hamarikyu for the first time in a long time, a pleasant early summer breeze was blowing.

Yamaboshikawaba hydrangea mulberry nuts ... Many flowers welcomed me.

 Yamahoshi (Japanese dogwood)

Japanese dogwood's name was named after showing the small circle of flowers in the center to the monk's head, and the white bracts, which looked like petals, looked like a hood.

"dogwood", which is often seen in street trees, is very similar to Japanese dogwood, so it is also called "America Yamaboshi".

In some regions, there is still a custom of starting rice planting when Japanese dogwood begins to bloom.

In October, the fruit turns red and can be eaten.

I can't eat the fruit of Hana Mizuki.

Kashiwaba hydrangea (Kashiwaba hydrangea) native to North America

It was named because the leaves resemble Kashiwa-no-ha.

These leaves turn red in autumn.

It is planted in the flower garden.

It's best to see it now.

Yatsushiro Shogun Yoshimune used the current outdoor table plaza practically and used it as a place for experiments.

Plant sweet potatoes, plant medicinal herbs, make swordsmiths, raise smoke, and make salt ...

We planted mulberry trees, kept silk cloth in a weaving hut, put it in a paulownia box to make it a souvenir for important customers.

In the remnants of that time, there is still a mulberry tree in the open-air table square.

I tried to put a grain of ripe fruit in my mouth.

Sweet and delicious ... It's a nostalgic taste.

In addition, there are several other trees that have been attached to the fruit of Japan globeflower.

Yurinoki came to the early Meiji era and is often planted as street trees.

The place of origin is North America, with a tree height of 50m to 60m and a diameter of 3m.

In the past, American Indians used to cut out this tree to make canoes.

Because the shape of the flower resembles a tulip, it is also called a "tulip tree".

Because the shape of the leaves resembles "Hanten" worn by craftsmen, it is also called "Hantenboku".

I was able to take only the buds, but it is a large yellow flower.

It blooms in Uchibori Square.

Shintomiza Children's Kabuki 5th Anniversary Performance

[Yurikamome] May 24, 2011 08:30

I knew that there was "Children's Kabuki" in Chuo-ku began at the "Tengunsu Inari Shrine Reitaisai festival-Gozenza 1171 Bonsai Festival".

This venerable Reitaisai festival is visited by many people from all over the country and prays for good luck.

Because I learned that the old-fashioned Kagura dance was dedicated and that Shintomiza Children's Kabuki was also held.

However, for the sake of Great East Japan Earthquake, the Shinko Festival (portable shrine imperial procession, Children's Procession, etc.) was held at Kyobashi Tsukiji Elementary School on May 1 to commemorate the 5th anniversary.

The following photo is a photo of the "Navel Exhibition" displayed at the reception, but it is cute like this.

People were performing enthusiastically.

Kabuki's lines, which are unknown to us, and places to find out ...

You were very good.

Kabuki born in Chuo-ku, thanks to the cooperation of Yano Tayu Takemoto, who lives in Chuo-ku and is the heavyweight of Gitayubushi, and the enthusiasm of 15 elementary school officials and parents. I wanted to deepen my understanding and expand the circle of support.

Statue of Kinjiro Ninomiya and Children at Kyobashi Tsukiji Elementary School

[Yurikamome] May 6, 2011 09:00

Kyobashi Tsukiji Elementary School is located diagonally opposite Tsukiji Honganji across Shin-ohashi-dori St.

Kyobashi Elementary School and Tsukiji Elementary School merged on April 1, 1992 to form Kyobashi Tsukiji Elementary School.

I was attracted to the statue of a child at the front entrance and the statue of Kinjiro Ninomiya, and remembered the past.

Statue of Kinjiro Ninomiya (1787-1856)

Before the war, it seemed that he was encouraged to build a statue of Kinjiro Ninomiya for education because he was born as a child of a peasant at the end of the Edo period and worked hard in poverty to study and became a worthy person .

Those statues escaped the war and still remain ...

At the time of the bubble, the word "poor ..." was forgotten, and the statue of Kinjiro Ninomiya may have been removed, but I think there are places to prepare for a new one now.

The kindergarten I attended also entered the main gate, climbed the slope of the row of cherry blossom trees, and there was a statue of Kinjiro Ninomiya where the next gate was located.

On the left side of the main gate, there was a statue of Kinjiro Ninomiya.
