2011 “Town Walking” Tour Nihonbashi Long-established Course 2 Nihonbashi Kaishin (Part 2)

[Yurikamome] July 30, 2011 08:31

Wednesday, July 27 Nihonbashi Long-established Course 2 was held as an industrial course.

Wood shop → Nihonbashi Kaishin → I accompanied you on a course around Yamamoto-noriten.

(Part 2) is the blog post of the visit to Nihonbashi Kaishin.

Nihonbashi Kaishin is the birthplace of Ise Kuwana.

It's been 120 years since I came to Edo.

Japanese shop curtain's picture is wonderful...

I think so every time I ask.

2011_0726 Nihonbashi Kaishin Japanese shop curtain 0032.JPG The rear side of the store is a factory.

He cooked the shell by hand at a room temperature of around 40 ° C.

Half, I received 1 and 2 finished shallow jig.

I felt it was "light taste" for some reason even though it should have a dark taste. It was really delicious.

It seemed that the sincerity of the craftsman was deepening the taste.

Various kinds of Tsukudani were lined up in the shop.

All the participants received "Koami" Tsukudani as a souvenir.

Also, only at this time, all tour participants were offered a 2 discount for special-priced products.

I bought 5 kinds of "Tarako" and "Ko pillar red plum boiled" in addition to ¥1000.

These two dishes (Tarako / Koshira Koume-ni) are my favorite Tsukudani that I always buy.

2011 “Town Walking” Tour Nihonbashi Long-established Course 2 Kiya (Part 1)

[Yurikamome] July 30, 2011 08:30

Wednesday, July 27 Nihonbashi Long-established Course 2 of the “Town Walking” tour industry course was held.

Wood shop → Yamamoto-noriten → I went around Nihonbashi Kaishin.

(Part 1) Then I would like to introduce "Nihonbashi Kiya".

2011_0727 Kiya front entrance 0013.JPG

Until around the fall of last year, it was on the opposite side of the Mitsukoshi Main Store across Chuo-dori, but it entered the first floor of "Cored Muromachi" and was opposite to the Mitsui Main Building.

Metro Link (free) In front of "Nihonbashimurocho 1-chome" bus stop is "Kiya".

2011_0727 Kiyagidai Shoran 0026.JPG

Kidai Shoran ... A wonderful view of the brilliant era

At that time, four wooden shops were lined up, including Kiya Kochichichi (head office), which is under contract at that time.

Japanese shop curtain, the rightmost wooden shop, is exactly the same as the trademark used in today's knives wooden shop.

It is with the crest of the name of Kiya in the frame of Izutsu. (I wrote a small → in the picture.)

It is a masterpiece with a bird's-eye view of the main street from Imagawa Bridge in Edo to Nihonbashi around 1805 (1805) from the east, and the streets on the west side of the street are drawn with a length of about 12m.

2011_0726 Kiya’s product 0007.JPGThe origin of the name "Kiya"

Kubei, who was a medicinal merchant of the Toyotomi family as a medicinal merchant, was invited by Ieyasu Tokugawa to his younger brother and went down to Edo to have a store in Honmachi.

It is said that since it was separated from the main store in Osaka, the forest with the last name was divided into two and used as "wood" to be called "kiya".

Founded a knife shop

In April 162792, he was allowed to divide the Japanese shop curtain into the first "Isuke Kato Isuke" who came out of Ise Kuwana and worked hard at the Kiya Main Store.

At that time, carpentry tools were mainly used for knives, but at the end of the Tokugawa period, Western knives began to be imported.

We're on sale until the end of July.

In addition to a number of wonderful kitchen knives and scissors, there were many whetstones, nail polishes, and small items used in the kitchen.

I learned how to sharpen the kitchen knife ... ... The taste of sashimi cut with a well-cut kitchen knife is delicious ...

Also, I often learned that I need to grind my kitchen knife myself.

The handle material is natural wood, and the bow and zelkova are Japanese kitchen knives ...

Shidandan and ebony are used for Western knives ...

I found a "claw clipper" that cuts very well in the product, but it seems to be a popular product.

It was a very good sharpness without breaking the nails.

The long-established store in "Cored Muromachi" seems to have a high threshold for us, but it is never such a thing and it is a friendly shop. If you haven't come yet, please visit us once ... it's fun ...

Scenery of sunrise and sunset from Kachidoki

[Yurikamome] July 21, 2011 08:30

2011_0717 Harumi Wharf and Containeryard 0052.JPGAmong Chuo-ku, the Kachidoki, Toyomi, and Harumi districts face the sea, so you can see the deepest view of Tokyo Bay.

Large foreign ships and Japanese ships that dive down the Rainbow Bridge to reach Harumi Wharf ...

You can also enjoy the ferry arriving at Takeshiba Wharf, Hinode Wharf, Shibaura Wharf, and various ships coming from far away Japan.

The radiance of the rising sun and the beauty of the sunset are impressive.

On the left side of the Rainbow Bridge is the Shinagawa container yard.

When the whole is dyed red, coffee enriches your heart.

2011_0717 Reflection of window glass 0046.JPG In the foreground is Toyomi's warehouse.

I think that the reflection of glass is that the surface of the sea glows white, but when the sun begins to rise, it spreads to the vicinity of Toyomi's warehouse and disappears as the sun rises.

2011_0716 Summer sunset 0001.JPGIn fact, it is very difficult to shoot the sunset for more beautiful.

"Sunset" in summer is said to be the most beautiful of the year and is also the "Summer Seasonal" in Haiku.

On the day when the wind blows strongly, the color change of the sky after the sun sinks is exceptional.

I feel tired while drinking beer and reflect on the day.

The 10th Chuo-ku Bouquet Festival (Part 5) Sakuragawa Rooftop Park Nature Observation Meeting

[Yurikamome] July 6, 2011 08:30

2011_0625 Bouquet Rooftop Park 0052.JPG  Sakuragawa Rooftop Park is a rooftop greening park built on the second floor of the Women's Center "Bouquet 21".

The members of Eco Being guided us.

The park is said to have been built 18 years ago.

The soil contains only about 30 cm, but some large trees such as "konara oak" trees that make satoyama, mountain peaches, jakuro, shala, princess apples, etc. are planted, and blueberries bear fruit and rosemary leaves I had a good scent when I touched it by my hand.

Next to the park was a gateball field, where hula dance was practiced.

From the second floor of the building near the exit of the park, there were also sales of independent products from the Japan National Council of Social Welfare "Sawayaka Work Chuo" in Chuo-ku and sales of flowers and cookies from the "Osby no Kai".

The 10th Chuo-ku Bouquet Festival (Part 4) Exhibition Corner

[Yurikamome] July 2, 2011 08:30

At the 10th bouquet festival, there was an exhibition corner on the first floor in addition to the presentation and experience corner.

Various corners answered our questions and let me study what I didn't know.

There were 14 booths, but some of them were taken in the photo.

"Briefing from experts ..." It's hard to know.

It was a very good opportunity to feel free to ask questions.
