Edo Komata at Kakigaracho Park Edo komata by Mr. Masayuki Nagare

[Silver] December 29, 2017 18:00

In a corner of Kakigaracho Park, there is a large foot-shaped sculpture.

The author is Masayuki Nagare, a world-famous sculptor.

The name of the work is "Edo Komata", and the production year is 1992.

It's been about 10 years since I learned about the existence of this sculpture. However, it did not match the year of the adjacent TCAT (Tokyo Shitai Air Terminal, opened on July 1, 1972 (Showa 47) and the Royal Park Hotel (June 1, 1989, adjacent to Tokyo City Air Terminal (T-CAT) in Chuo-ku, Tokyo), so it remained with questions.

Did these travel and tourism industries set up in hope of "travel safety"? I kept thinking about it. It's been about five years since my friend WLY told me to write a blog post.

This time, at last, I was able to know how this sculpture was installed on the Internet.

According to the report, Chuo-ku said, "To commemorate the Declaration of Peace City, it was installed as a symbol of the city's peace at Kakigaracho Park adjacent to the Tokyo City Air Terminal, which is equivalent to the empty entrance of Chuo-ku." is.

The URL of the announcement is posted on the "Heiwa, Chuo-ku Prayer Virtual Museum" and is here.

My long doubts were clear and clear. Have a safe trip! Bom voyage!

Originated from Yoshiume name Edo cuisine

[Silver] December 28, 2017 18:00

We strolled from Nihonbashi to Ningyocho at a high school alumni association and had a meal at Yoshiume Ningyocho Main Store. We arrived at the shop through a alley where geisha could pass. The shop is a quaint entrance in a Japanese house. The frontage is narrow, but the depth and the depth of the dish are deep.

We had delicious food and blossomed in the story of the fun youth.

According to the leaflet we received at this time, we received it.

What is the origin of the store name?

"Yoshiume", who lived in Yoshicho, was founded in 1927. Since then, I have been delighted to convey the downtown atmosphere and Edo cuisine, and to have everyone enjoy it. Please enjoy the unchanging humanity and the dishes that you continue to explore every day. The shopkeeper,'

And in the guide of Yoshiume Yoshicho-tei, I'll tell you

"Yoshicho-tei, who repaired the residence of Kogiku Hanayagi, a famous actress who once stood in an alley called Geisha Shindo. Enjoy a relaxing time while feeling the four seasons in a private room surrounding the tsubo garden. "

The building of Yoshicho-tei was registered in the National Registered Tangible Cultural Property on August 21, 2002.

Get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and enjoy a moment in Ningyocho.

From Nihonbashi to Kyobashi, Ginza Christmas Walk

[Silver] December 24, 2017 12:00

From Nihonbashi 1-chome to Ginza 5-chome, we walked through the city where you can hear jingle bells.

In the window of Nihonbashi Takashimaya, Santa is riding a reindeer and delivering presents. It's like the story of a fairy country. On the 1st floor of the store, the children were delighted because they could ride the Mary Go round.

In Kyobashi, the pillars of the Meijiya building adjacent to the Courtyard Marriott Hotel are shining golden.

The Christmas tree of Kyobashi Edgran was my sister and niece very much. Today we have a meal at the restaurant in B1.

The traffic light at the Ginza 1-chome police box is displayed at "Ginza Doriguchi". I'm convinced.

It is said that the outer wall of "Kirari and Ginza Building" is inspired by the brilliant cut of diamonds. This is also convincing.

From Ginza 4-chome, "GINZA PLACE", the first and second floors are Nissan showrooms and galleries. I slowly saw it from the cafe in the opposite building.

I took a walk in a lively city from Ginza 8-chome.

The advertisement of the Ginza Hakuhinkan should be energetic only at the general toy department store.

At the entrance of GINZA SIX, "Daisy Balloon" Mirror Bell Dress "". It is an object called Miller Bell Dress, reminiscent of a Christmas bell of about 4m by the artist unit Daisy Balloon.

The photos taken from inside the store become the mannequin doll of the opposite building, which decorates the city of Ginza gorgeously.

The decoration of the show window of Ginza Core Building. It's a very cute march of penguins.

The lighting of the opposite Tasaki Building seems to be warm with gentle pink.

At Ginza Yanagi Gallery, a painter Shinji Naganawa, who lives in Malaga, Spain, was at the venue and was able to listen to the story.

I felt as if I was in Spain with a bright color of oil.

Yasuaki Gallery's theme was "Special Exhibition: Enjoy Flowers-Shoyo Hana".

A lot of works depicting various flowers of spring, summer, autumn and winter on a large canvas were exhibited. We also received a "List of Flower Languages". According to that, "Speony" seems to have a flower language of shamefulness and humility. "Peony" is like a flower language of personality, fuki, shame, and shyness. For those who have this, I would like to give you a bright red rose.

The Lenoir exhibition was being held at "Galley Tamenaga".

The bell of time New Year's soba is also served.

[Silver] December 19, 2017 12:00

The bell at Jisshi Park is the capital city of Designated Cultural Property.

According to Monoshiri Encyclopedia in Chuo-ku, the city of Designated Cultural Property explained.

ーBronze Bell at Kokumachi-Time Bell to reward people in Edo City

The bell was informing the people of Edo Castle. It is said that it was installed in Honishi-cho (currently near Nihonbashi Muromachi 4-chome) during the era of Hidetada, the second shogun. The bell of Honishi-cho reported the time to Edo citizens, and then, as the city of Edo expanded, time bells began to be installed in several places. In addition, because there was Nagasakiya nearby, Kawayanagi, saying, "The bell of Kokumachi can be heard to the Netherlands." The following is an example.

That's why it's the capital city of Designated Cultural Property, and the bell tower on display has stairs and it's usually impossible to climb, so I thought the "bell of night removal" was not a contradiction. However, on the pillar of the bell tower, I found a poster for guidance.

1513396309907.jpg

 It is written as follows.

  Nighting Bell Sunday, December 31

I start with the bell at twelve p.m. After that, I'll have you contradiction. On the day, we will prepare three hundred meals of New Year's Eve soba and a little sacred wine. We look forward to your participation.
