Tokyo will celebrate the Olympics two years later, but at the time of the last Tokyo Olympics (1964), a "Miyuki tribe" was born in Ginza where men wearing eyebrows and women with long skirts walked in large paper bags. . As you can imagine, it is named after "Miyuki-dori (approximately 1.2 km in length)" that connects Hibiya Park near the Imperial Palace through the center of Ginza and connects the vicinity of Tsukiji Market. However, this street said that the original name was "Yamashitabashi Street".
A few years before the decision to invite the Tokyo Olympics in 1940, which became a phantom in the war, cultural figures such as painter Tsuguji Fujita and poet Yaso Saijo, who considered Tokyo as a beautiful city that can be used for the world, beautify Ginza. It seems that he planned to make it a city that is not ashamed of the world. As a result, Emperor Meiji named Miyuki-dori when he attended the graduation ceremony of the Naval Academy and Naval University from the Imperial Palace to Tsukiji. Therefore, the kanji of "Miyuki" is "Miyuki".
Ginza Miyuki Street is a street that was born from the enthusiasm of these people, loved and rooted.

Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store was designated as a national important cultural property in July 2016, and it can be said that the main building has many historical attractions. Did you know that there is a free "history tour" for elementary, junior high and high school students at the Mitsukoshi Main Store? The tour takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes, and the guide will guide you through the highlights of the store and explain the secrets and rare topics of the birth of a department store. In addition, you will be able to respond carefully to questions from the participants, so I think you will study a lot. The capacity is 2 to 12 people, and the participation fee is free.
Important cultural properties designated by the country during the history tour are as follows.
guardian angel of Mitsukoshi, the Lion statue
The "Tenjo (Magokoro) Statue" with gorgeous beauty
The "Mitsukoshi Theater" opened in 1927 (1927)
"fossils" of the dinosaur era such as ammonites
The "pipe organ" also serves as the central ward Tangible Cultural Property.
"Chuo Hall" with Japan's first escalator
One of the Sumida River Seven Lucky Gods on the rooftop, Sanwei Shrine, etc.
The deadline for applying for the Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store "History Tour" is until the 5th of the previous month of the desired month, and it is said that advance application is required using the "Application Form" on the company's website.

Loa Coffee House, a coffee specialty store located a 3-minute walk from Hatchobori Station. It opened in January 2016 and is based on the concept of "delicious coffee sticking to beans". The exterior of the shop is a stylish building reminiscent of an overseas cafe. The inside of the store is a little narrow, but I think it's a good sense and a relaxing space. There are two highs tools on the 4 counter seats, one table, and two sofas for those waiting for takeout.
Drip coffee is reasonable at 280 yen per cup, and from the second cup, it is a thankful price of 190 yen, half price. Although it is a coffee specialty store, there are plenty of drinks such as tea, latte, hot chocolate, and homemade lemonade.
By the way, it is a normal cafe so far, but the feature of this shop is that it offers latte art cafe latte that shines on SNS. Everyone should think it's a waste to drink, such as turning matcha latte into rainbows. Café latte is 380 yen, which is also reasonable. We also have a menu such as honey latte and salt caramel latte.
The other cucumber is a panini made for each order. Smoke chicken, tuna, pickles and cheese are exquisitely intertwined. Because it is wrapped in paper, the hands are not dirty and it is cut in half so it is easy to eat. The surface of the bread was crispy and the inside was delicious with soft cheese. The price is 690 yen. It is a coffee shop that you should definitely stop by when you stop by.

From Shin-Nihonbashi Station, I would like to introduce a ramen shop called Hachitsuboya, which stands quietly in a corner of an office building 100 meters from Showa-dori toward Edobashi. It is located in an alley with few traffic, and it feels like a secret place or a hideaway. It is literally open in a space of 8 tsubo. (4 counter seats, 2 seats each, 2 seats and 4 seats)
The menu includes "Miso Ramen", "Soy Sauce Ramen", and "Shio Ramen" 650 yen each, and "Charshu Men" 880 yen, but the signboard menu is "Milk Miso Ramen (800 yen)" only from 13:00 It is a commitment to offer.
The soup has a mild miso, a mild milk richness, and butter topped in the center, giving it a creamy impression overall. At first glance, it's a white soup, so it's like pork bone ramen, but when you eat it, it's certainly miso taste, and you feel the sweetness of milk slightly. The noodles are slightly soft boiled and slightly thickened noodles. Ingredients include charsiu, moyashi, menma and wakame. Milk and miso. It was a match that looked like a mismatch and was surprisingly compatible.
By the way, a paper describing how to eat recommended by the store manager was affixed to the wall. After eating about half the noodles and soup, add a bit of chili pepper and finally add vinegar. When I tried it, I think it was transformed into a tasteful soup.

Speaking of civilization halls, castella No. 1 and telephones are often associated with snacks at No. 2 and 3 o'clock, but in fact, it is not just castella. The "Civilizationdo Cafe" is set up in the Nihonbashi Main Store of Bunmeido, where you can enjoy lunch and dinner. The inside of the store is spacious and you can relax. In the background music, slow ballad jazz was flowing comfortably. And there is also a terrace, so I think it's a good idea to relax on the terrace seats in this season in search of a sense of openness.
The lunch menu (5 types) comes with salads and drinks for about 1000 yen, so it can be said that it is reasonable. All of them are delicious, but the most popular is "milf-boiled egg Hayashi rice", which is modest in sweetness and is seasoned for adults. It's no exaggeration to say that beef and onions, which are likely to melt in black sauce, and the texture of semi-boiled eggs perfectly match, and it's no longer an exaggeration to say that it's artistic. It has a slightly rich taste, but it is not persistent and completes the meal. Indians are surprised not only at Castella but also at the Café in Civilization Hall, "There are palms too!" (I may not be able to communicate unless you are over 50 years old ... lol)
And under the drink I ordered, there was a coaster of that nostalgic commercial, Koguma Dance (Civilizeddo Mame Theater). Just looking at this, it seems that you can hear "Hell Orphe (Japanese title "Heaven and Hell")" in your head. Close to Mitsukoshimae Station, when you come to your neighborhood, why not have lunch at "Bikudo Cafe"?

Ise, a long-established yakitori restaurant, is located right after exiting Exit 4 of Kodemmacho Station. I recommend "Oyakodon" for lunch. There is only a yakitori specialty store, and the balance between the umami of chicken, the hardened rice cooked and the fluffy eggs is exquisite. It is said that the eggs are "Akagi no Egg" from Gunma. The texture of the toro egg matches the sweetness of charcoal-grilled chicken. Overall, the taste is not sweet, not spicy, and it feels like chicken soup adds depth to soy sauce and sugar broth. I think there is a taste, but I think it's reasonable if it's 730 yen.
The shop is a little narrow but deep on the 1st floor of the building. At the counter, there are 30 seats (10 standing seats, 20 table seats) divided into seats and space divided for standing meals, and 4-person table seats.
By the way, there was a "tasty way to eat Oyakodon", so I will introduce it. "First, open the lid of the bowl lightly, sprinkle a little yagenbori Shichimi pepper around the trefoil, close the lid once and steam it. Open the lid again for about 3 to 5 seconds, and add chopsticks in the bowl while tasting the subtle smell of soy sauce and mirin. Spread into your mouth with rice so as not to break eggs from the corner. After eating a few mouths, lightly pinch the incense with the scent. At that time, please do not sprinkle incense on the bowl or stir the eggs and rice. "
