R0037047 (2)RS.jpg On February 17, "Suitengumae Koban" (Nihonbashi Kaki Shellcho 2) at the Suitengumae intersection has resumed operations for the first time in about two years after rebuilding work.

The shrine hall and shrine office are being rebuilt in 2018 to commemorate the 200th anniversary of Edo-Zenza.

At present, a temporary palace has been set up in Hamacho and has been relocated, but the entire brand-new Shin-shrine hall building has also appeared and is about to be completed.

Prior to the completion of the new shrine hall, the police box, which was completed, will resume operations as soon as possible.

The previous police box (upper right) was designed with the old shrine hall, but the new police box (upper left) was modern and has a new design.

I heard that the police box, located at the northeast corner of Shin-ohashi-dori St. and Suitengu Street, was set up in 1929 (1929), but it was once a key point of traffic where Toden also intersects, including traffic control and guidance. , Has been involved in activities to protect local security and has been popular with local residents.

During the rebuilding, the police officer in charge seems to have continued their activities based on other police boxes, but this will make local residents feel relieved.

On April 8, Suitengu Shrine is steadily preparing to welcome worshiper in New shrine hall as a "friendly and safer shrine" with improved environmental conditions in the earthquake countermeasure and waiting rooms.

Three Kawazu cherry trees (kawazu-zakura) planted on the northeast side of Chuo-ohashi Bridge, Shinkawa Park/Sumida River Terrace, are blooming.

It is said to be an interseed hybrid of Kanhizakura and oshima cherry. The flower color is pink or light red, and the petals are more red than Yoshino cherry tree.

At the beginning of the cherry blossom season, usually begins to bloom in early February, and is in full bloom about a month later.

One of the features is that you can enjoy the flowering process and keep the full bloom for a certain period of time.

When it blooms for 6 to 8 minutes, the flowers have momentum and are said to be beautiful.

However, the flowering time seems to be greatly affected by the weather of the year, and it is said that it blooms early in the beginning of the year, but it is said that it is very difficult to make the flowering forecast because it is delayed after mid-February .

In Kawazu-cho, Kamo-gun, Shizuoka Prefecture, where the cherry blossoms are derived, about 800 trees are planted along the Kawazu River, which is 4 km long, and about 8,000 trees are planted throughout the town. Kawazu Sakura Festival is held.

It blooms early this year, and it is said that it blooms for 3 minutes now.

In addition, Kawazu cherry blossoms on the Sumida River Terrace can be enjoyed at night with the lights of the outside lights. (upper right)

It's a little early spring.

Duck watching

The Hamarikyu Garden is dotted with two duckba, Koshindo Kamoba and Niiza Kamoba, a pond with tide, and Uchibori.

At this time, you can enjoy watching the duck, a representative of winter birds, from the "Oden Bridge" of the tide pond, the bench on the pond, and the "Omoto pool" at Kamoba (upper right). You can enjoy it.

The duck is a bird of the family duck. It is also called cancer ducks and contains cancers and swans.

Freshwater ducks (high in freshwater and baiting water. Flying directly from the surface of the water.) And diving ducks (other than tufted duck and Hoshihajiro, there are many in the sea and sea ducks. Diving foraging. The position of the foot is close to the butt is sinking. Sliding and flying. ) Will be roughly divided into.

Ducks generally breed in summer and cold regions, males are said to return to beautiful reproductive feathers from autumn to winter, and form a turn in wintering areas, making it easier to distinguish.

For example, mallard has a glossy green head like a metal, and may look purple depending on how light hits it.

(Indian spot-billed duck is a resident bird, male and female, all year round, brownish, plain feather color. The yellow at the tip of the beak is the identification point.

Females have a similar brownish and plain color, but in winter it can be distinguished from being a male of the same species and acting together.

In the case of females only, the body shape, beak color, wings pattern, etc. are the identification points.

Surface-based ducks feed in the water into their mouths with water, throw away water, strain the food, and eat it.

Diving ducks hide in the water and eat fish, shellfish and shrimp.

It is a great place to get in touch with wild birds and get close to nature in such a familiar place.

R0037002RSG.jpg An annual mini-garden guided tour that takes a walk around the park with the guidance of a green adviser at the Pocket Plaza "Flowers, Water and Trees" in Harumi Triton Square.

This month was held on February 4th. (12:30~ 14:30~)

The theme this time is "Plants in the Garden of Ritsuharu".

The squirrel (Gomasaceae), which I mentioned last time, is planted by people, such as the flower terrace, slope garden, South Triton Park, but the sunny, South Triton Park, is the plumpest and energy. It is blooming.

The filiferralia (Hypressaceae), which is characterized by a thread-like hanging golden leaves, seems to have a more vivid yellow taste in South Park. (upper left)

A white flower with a new face of the orange family blackware on the flower terrace.

It is a cute star-shaped flower.

When you rub the leaves, it smells unique to citrus fruits.

In the slope garden along the Asashio Canal, Kinkan shines orange in the sunset.

On the green terrace, red plums and heart wax plums are eye-catching.

You can rest your mind with the calm and calm fragrance of Soshinrobai.

If you pay attention to your feet, just before pheasant's eye, a typical flower that tells spring, sprouts.

I'm looking forward to the future.

On the terrace area, winter buds that eventually become leaves and flowers look into the branches of trees that had dropped the leaves in winter.

Near the winter buds, there are traces of leaves falling (leaf scars), and the shape and arrangement of each are seen in the eyes, ears and mouth, and the whole situation looks like a human or animal face, and humorous Invite smiles.

They also gave a lecture on how to grow differently according to the type and variety of succulent plant and procedures at cutting.

In addition, it was a plant walk with a wide range of ways to enjoy watching flowers and trees in the winter.
