About a 1-minute walk from Exit 1 of Shintomicho Station on the Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Line, right next to the base of the south side of Tsukijibashi, facing Heisei-dori, there is a delicious "Pissa Salvatorekuomo Higashiginza" of Napleli Pizza.

salva12.jpg

The kiln here is said to be a handmade firewood kiln by a kiln-making master who has the highest reputation in Naples, Italy.

salva14.JPG

The lunch menu includes a PIZZA set and a PASTA set, both with salads, soups, desserts and drinks on today's PIZZA (PASTA).

The PASTA set comes with a kiln-baked focaccia.

The photo shows the PIZZA set I ordered.

It's Margherita.

Pizza is a thin fabric, the surface is crispy, the inside is sticky and delicious.

"Ikimonos" Exhibition [LIXIL Gallery 2]

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] January 11, 2016 16:00

At LIXIL Gallery 2 at Kyobashi 3-chome, the 6th "Future of Creation" supervised by Ryohei Miyata "Living Things" Exhibition is being held.

ikimo11.JPG

The period is from Saturday, December 5 to Tuesday, February 23 of last year, but it is divided into "1st metal" and "2nd wood carving". Until January 12 (Tuesday), the "2nd term" will be from January 15 (Friday).

ikimo17.JPG

So, what I saw is the "first phase" metal.

ikimo12.JPG

[Description on LIXIL's website]

In the first phase (metal), Ryohei Miyata of the "Springen" series with the theme of dolphins, using the metal crafts technique of Sadogashima tradition in modern times, and the story of various characters is released by metal materials Tomomi Maruyama, who creates contemporary works with a sense of life, and the small life and environment of insects will be exhibited in a heavy and hard work of iron.

In the second phase (wood carving), Takashi Fukai, who creates a serene and thoughtful world with horses and feathers as motifs, and Nio Tsuchiya, who expresses cats, foxes, and phantom beasts in a supple and mysterious manner. We will exhibit works of dynamismous wolves with realistic expressions that are raised in a wave shape.

The sharpened sense of the top runner in modern three-dimensional modeling and the brilliance of life of "living things" that emerge with their outstanding skills will catch the viewer and keep them away.

ikimo13.JPG

In my impression, I was impressed that there were really various ways to use the same metal depending on the author or the work.

ikimo14.JPG

The material called metal was really used to express the texture and weight of the work surface.

You can take pictures at the venue.

macaua13.JPG

From the World Tile Museum collection, seven sets of real Azulejo made in Portugal in the 17th and 19th centuries are on display.

In addition to traditional blue painting tiles, you can see the colors of multi-colored tiles and the beauty of the patterns up close.

macaua14.JPG

Macao, a former Portuguese colony, is a special administrative district of China, known as the city of World Heritage, and before the full return to China in 2049, the creation of a city that regenerates Portuguese-derived culture dating back to the Age of Discovery along with good old Chinese streets is progressing.

The symbolic existences are the "Azulejo" tiles brought from Portugal and the cobblestones called "Carsadas".

macaua15.JPG

Azulejo is a decorative tile made in Portugal from around the 16th century. In addition to blue monochrome on a white background, decorative patterns and concrete patterns are drawn in many colors.
