In the Royal Room on the 10th floor of FANCL Ginza Square, Autumn Rose Garden will open from Friday, October 28 to November 4 (Fri), and a special talk show will be held on the first day of October 28 (Fri).
This is a talk event about roses by Riyoko Ikeda, the original author of "Rose of Versailles", and Satoshi Murakami (Keisei Rose Garden Head Gardener), who is familiar with NHK "Horticulture of Hobby".
The "Rose of Versailles" series (6 types) was created by Meien, a famous rose breeding company in France, and sold at the Keisei Rose Garden.
The six types are Oscar Francois (white, large remontant flowering), Queen Antoinette (dark rosepink, large remontant flowering), Andregrandie (light yellow, large remontant flowering), Earl Ferzen (lavender purple, middle remontant flowering), Rosary La Morrière (cherry pink, remontant flowering medium sized roses), Versay La Morrière (small remontant flowering).
The Keisei Rose Garden, located in Yachiyo City, Chiba Prefecture, is a vast rose garden with an area of 30,000 square meters and over 1,600 varieties and over 10,000 plants. One of them is the "Rose of Versailles" corner (pictured above).
The photo shows the Rose Garden on October 23 (Sun).
Talk events are held twice, from 13:30 to 15:00 (about 30 minutes each time).
