Delicious Nan and curry shop [Ganesha Nihonbashihamacho store]

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] May 7, 2018 09:00

This is the Ganesha Nihonbashihamacho store, an Indian restaurant in Nihonbashihamacho 2-chome.

gane201801.JPG

It is across a row of ginkgo trees in front of Hamacho Park, opposite Meijiza.

gane201802.JPG

Because it is a popular shop, there are usually queues, but the day I visited was noon on weekdays during the GW, just after opening at 11:00, so I could afford it.

The interior of the store is clean and calm.

There are two types of lunch menus: A set (curry Nan) and B set (curry Nan, salad, drink).

You can change the salad and drink in the B set and order this one.

You can choose curry, spicy and Nan, respectively.

There are six types of curry: pork masara curry, chicken masara curry, vegetable curry, sagchikin curry, sag pork curry, and green curry.

There are four types of spiciness: normal, medium, dry, and spicy.

There are three kinds of butter rice, plain nan, coconut nan, garlic nan.

I chose medium spicy vegetable curry, garlic Nan.

It's freshly baked Nan.

Garlic Nan is fragrant with mochimochi, and it's very delicious to eat this much.

The curry is also moderately spicy for me, and it is a delicious curry with plenty of vegetables.

It's a very comfortable shop for the people of the shop.

Brush tree flowering [Hamacho Park]

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] May 5, 2018 18:00

There is Hamacho Park in Chuo Ward at 2-chome Nihonbashihamacho.

brush201801.JPG

It is the largest park in Chuo-ku and faces the banks of the Sumida River.

brush201802.JPG

In addition to the square, there are the Chuo Ward Sports Center and Kiyomasa Koji Temple, which enshrines Kato Kiyomasa.

brush201803.JPG

When I visited, many nursery school children were playing in the square.

brush201804.JPG

A brush tree is blooming near Kiyomasa Koji Temple, a corner of Hamacho Park.

Brush trees, also known as Carystemon, Kinpoge (Kin Takaragi), and Hana Maki (Hanamaki).

brush201806.JPG

The Brush tree is an evergreen Odaka tree of the family Brushaceae.

It is native to Australia and blooms around May and June.

brush201808.jpg

The characteristic is the shape of a flower, just like a brush for washing a bottle.

In English, it is called a bottle brush.

brush201807.JPG

There are still a lot of buds, and it will bloom more and more in the future.

meiji201804.JPG

The venue is "Nagase Memorial Hall OZU" on the 2nd floor of the National Film Archive Main Building, which faces Kyobashi 3-chome, Kajibashi Street.

The whole consists of three sections: "Record movie of the Meiji period", "Record movie about the Meiji era", and "Record movie about the Meiji era".

Today (April 29), I watched "Emperor Meiji and Russo-Japanese War" (113 minutes, 35mm, color).

meiji201805.JPG

This movie is said to be a masterpiece made by Shin Toho by betting company luck. Kanjuro Arashi, a great star of historical drama, was selected as the role of Emperor Meiji and became a big topic.

It was almost full on the day, and it was no wonder that Emperor Meiji's products, general Nogi's Chinese poems, and songs from the time, which were inserted at key points of the movie, made me feel the times and became an unprecedented hit.

In addition to this, there are plenty of works scheduled to be screened, ranging from valuable recorded images from the Meiji period to those dealing with Sakamoto Ryoma, Kurama Tengu, Kanichi and Miya, Tsuta and Shuetsu Hayase.

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] May 1, 2018 12:00

beeli201801.JPG

Beeline Cafe, a galette shop facing Kiyosumi-dori, Tsukishima 3-chome.

beeli201805.JPG

It is a cafe with a casual atmosphere, and the open terrace seats can be accompanied by pets.

beeli201803.JPG

It's a galette.

Full-fledged galettes have a refreshing taste and toppings with fried egg, bacon and lettuce.

Delicious

Keema curry & galette.

Not Nan, but buckwheat flour galette goes well with Keema curry.

After lunch, we took a stroll along Tsukishima in sunny May with a wanko.
