Brian Leo, Alfred Martinez Exhibition "Normal activity" [Megumi Ogita Gallery]

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] January 29, 2019 18:00

brian201901.JPG

At the Megumi Ogita Gallery, a gallery located on the first basement floor of the Ginza Otsuka Building, Ginza 2-chome, there is a two-person exhibition "normal activity" by Brian Leo, who works as writers based in New York, and Alfredo Martinez.

brian201900.jpg

The period is from Friday, January 25 to February 9 (Sat).

The time is from eleven o'clock to nine o'clock.

Days, months and holidays are closed.

brian201902.JPG

Brian Leo's work is a pop depiction of what you see everyday in New York.

brian201903.JPG

Depending on the artist's intention, it is spectacular that bright pink back works are displayed side by side in a row.

brian201904.JPG

Leo, who was strongly influenced by pop culture, looks at society from the inside and continues to challenge the expansion of "areas that painting can convey".Art

brian201905.JPG

Another writer, Alfred Martinez, appears to be quite scanned, according to the gallery's website.

brian201906.JPG

The canvas of the gun series on display this time seems to have been made of books and newspapers because the use of ink and paper was restricted while he was in charge of plagiarism ().

There, I draw a gun with a pen or coffee shell.

The gun depicted is colorful, powerful, solid, and has a presence.

brian201907.JPG

Thank you for your understanding of the photography in the gallery, and this time again, he explained the purpose of this two-person exhibition.

Thank you very much

twenty-four season old calendar 72 (Environmental Information Center)

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] January 28, 2019 09:00

247201.JPG

At the Environmental Information Center Exhibition Space in the Kyobashi Environmental Station on the 6th floor of Tokyo Square Garden in Kyobashi 3-chome, the “24th Setsuki 72 Exhibition in Life” is currently being held.

247203.JPG

The period is from Wednesday, December 19 to Wednesday, January 30 last year.

The time is from 9 o'clock to 21 o'clock.

247208.JPG

twenty-four season old calendar is an old classification that divides the year into 24 minds according to the movement of the sun, such as "Riharu", "Keihaku", "Akibun" and "Winter Solstice".

247210.JPG

In the case of "Ritsuharu", which divides twenty-four season old calendar into three more days, "The first weather" is "East wind, about 5" is "East wind, about 5" is "Uguisu", "Uguisu" is "Uguisu". The meanings are "the east wind begins to melt thick ice," "the ugly begins to squeal in the mountain village," and "the fish pops out between broken ice."

247206.JPG

Looking at this "24 seasons 72nd exhibition", I strongly feel that our ancestors have successfully incorporated seasonal changes into their daily lives.

247207.JPG

The wisdom of Japanese people is introduced in an easy-to-understand manner with photographs and illustrations, and is displayed on panels in the space.

247209.JPG

There is also a quiz inside the exhibition, so it is also a content that you can think and enjoy.

247205.JPG

This time, we received your consent for photography in the space.

Thank you very much

Lunch at Shin-Miura Tsukiji Main Store, Oyakodon

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] January 27, 2019 09:00

Last year, we introduced Oyakodon from Shin-Miura Garden.

sinmi201901.JPG

Behind it (or rather, this is the front), it is a Oyakodon of "Shin Miura Tsukiji Main Store" located diagonally in front of Tsukiji Police Station, near Kamei Bridge.

Because it is close to the company, we use it for entertainment at night, but we also recommend Oyakodon, which is limited to lunchtime at lunchtime.

The seats are spacious and calm.

sinmi201902.JPG

Water cooking is only famous, chicken is soft and juicy, eggs are fluffy and moist, and the seasoning is wonderful, and it is a very delicious Oyakodon.

"Half & Half" lunch [Suginoko]

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] January 25, 2019 12:00

sugi201902.JPG

This is a lunch at Suginoko, an izakaya with delicious motsunabe and yakitori, located on the first basement floor of Tokyo Square Garden, Kyobashi 3-chome.

sugi201901.JPG

Here, the lineup of "Half & Half" is wonderful, and today we order "Half & Half of Seafood bowl and Chicken Soba".

sugi201903.JPG

Seafood bowls are fresh and big.

Chicken soba has a light soup and tasty, and the spicy taste of chili is effective.

It looks simple and has chicken charsew.

sugi201904.JPG

In this shop, both the oyakodon for lunch and the beef sushi curry bowl are delicious, so try it out.

After 12:00, there are people lined up at 11:30, so it is open as soon as possible.

Sukiyabashi Park in winter night

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] January 24, 2019 18:00

kimi201901.JPG

It is a municipal park right next to Ginza 5-chome, Sukiyabashi intersection.

It is said that there was Sukiya Bridge, which was built for the first time in Edo Castle during the Edo period, and a stone monument to prove it stands.

kimi201902.JPG

It has been renewed at the same time as Tokyu Plaza Ginza, which opened in 2016, and has become an oasis-like entity in Ginza.

kimi201904.JPG

Now there are no blooming flowers and deciduous tree drops leaves and plants look lonely, but there is a lit-up tower behind the park.

"Young Clock Tower" by Taro Okamoto.

The building seen behind the tower is Yasuaki Elementary School.

kimi201903.JPG

On the front of the stone monument facing Harumi-dori St. in this park, there is an inscription of "Sukiyabashi here" by playwright and lyricist Kazuo Kikuta, and on the back, the history of Sukiyabashi is described.

kimi201905.JPG

Now, if you say "Your name", it is an anime (released in 2016, a feature-length animated movie directed by Makoto Shinkai), but the original () "Your name" was broadcast in the 1950s () NHK radio drama, and at that time it dominated the world.

It is Sukiyabashi that appears in important scenes (passing, reunion) in the original "Your name is" (written by Kazuo Kikuta).

It seems that there is a legend that the public bath has become empty during broadcast time.

The park that drinks in Ginza on a winter night and passes on the way to Yurakucho Station feels good.
