Under Takahashi over the Kamejima River, Shidekobushi is planted in a large pot around the gunshot street running along the Kamejima River (the map below, the red line part), and now winter buds are formed on the branches. It is starting to bulge.
Flower buds and leaf buds wrapped in fluffy hair
Shidekobushi (Tenshini, Four Teken) is a deciduous Odaka tree of the family Mokurenaceae.
The Japanese name comes from the fact that the shape of the flower is like a Magnolia kobus that resembles a four-handed flower.
It is said to be endemic species in Japan, and like Mokuren, flowers bloom before the opening of the leaves.
The flowering season of sardines is from March to April.
The cold continues, but on the other hand, preparations for spring are progressing in a visible way.

The roses at Tsukiji River Shukubashi Park, which was introduced last November, saying, "Roses are still blooming," are still blooming well, despite the decrease in the number of flowers.
In particular, today's strong wind, blowing in the wind, and if it is blooming even after the New Year, I would like to say "Ganbare" unintentionally.
Blooming are roses from small remontant flowering, such as Wai Tomei Diland and Scarlet Meidiland.
As expected, there are few flowers above the middle ring, but if one flower or medium flower is blooming in one plant, I will be happy for some reason.
From now on, the cold will become more and more severe, but I would like to see how far the roses at Shukuhashi Park will continue to bloom.

On the New Year's Day, when the cold weather was in full swing, we took a stroll along the Sakura Promenade, a corner of Triton Square in Harumi, with a dog.
"Sakura no promenade" is made along the Asashio Canal and literally is a beautiful promenade with cherry blossoms in spring.
It's Harutsuki Bridge.
Asashiobashi is seen when you look at the north side of the Asashio Canal from the top of Harutsuki Bridge.
In the middle of the promenade, you can see the Tsukishima Bridge over the Tsukishima River, which connects the Asashio Canal and the Sumida River.
On the other side of Tsukishima Bridge is Nishinaka Bridge (not shown in the photo).
It's Sakura Kobashi, a small bridge that people can cross.
Beyond the tube-like triton bridge, there is the Reimei Bridge where Harumi-dori St. crosses the Asashio Canal, but it is not shown in the picture.
Cold weather is cold, but on a windless winter day, walking while watching the canals and bridges is fun.

Nowadays, the year has changed, and the cold weather has become even more severe in January, but I went to lunch with "Eel in winter" in" eel "".
This is "Tosanmatsu Higashiginza Store" located on the first floor of the Toei Higashiginza Building, Ginza 3-chome.
Business hours are from 11:00 to 21:00 and lunch time is from 11:00 to 14:00.
Please note that Saturday will be until 16:00.
Sunday and public holidays are closed.
We entered before 11:30 on the day, but it was safe and I was able to sit without waiting.
Today, I ordered "Unashige Ume"
In this shop, rice is written as Niigata Koshihikari, and eel on the day is written as Aichi Mikawa, so you can feel relieved.
Without complaints, winter eels are greasy and delicious.
The sauce is not too sweet, not too thick, and is exquisite by taking advantage of the original taste of eel.
As usual, the reception of the shop is very pleasant, and it is reaffirmed that winter when the eel is really delicious is the perfect shop.
I recommend it.

"Isamu Sekido Photo Exhibition "PARTII" is being held at Communication Gallery Fugen on the 2nd floor of Tsukiji Garden Building, Tsukiji 1-chome.
The exhibition period is from Tuesday, January 8 to 26 (Sat).
The time is from 12:00 to 19:00 on Tuesday to Friday and from 12:00 to 17:00 on Saturday, and Sunday and Monday are closed.
Isamu Sekido's photo exhibition will be held for the third time in this gallery, following last year.
Mr. Sekido is a photographer living in Kita-Kamakura, who is currently working as a freelancer after working at the Iwanami Film Works Photography Department.
This photo exhibition was held in conjunction with the release of Sekido-san and Yukio Murata, the third generation of Kukazoen, "A lot of mysterious January issue Bonsai" (Fukuonkan Bookstore). This is a work taken by Sekido, who was fascinated by the elaborate bonsai of the current Kukazoen owner, Isamu Murata, who was fascinated by the elaborate bonsai of the current Kukazoen owner, for more than ten years.
The bonsai works on display include bonsai, such as Tang maple, Zelkova, Hitotsubatago, and Goyomatsu, which are usually associated with bonsai, as well as sweet potatoes () parsley () chocolate vine ().
However, what we have in common is "beauty", and I felt that the beauty of nature's modeling and the beauty of people's modifications were well coordinated.
This is a photo exhibition that displays works that beautifully cut out the most beautiful moments of the bonsai.
In the snapshot of the scenery of the venue I took, the beauty is not conveyed very much, so please come to the gallery and check this beauty directly with your eyes.
Regarding photography in the gallery, Mr. Sekido, who was at the gallery and the venue on the day, gave us consent.
Thank you very much

I went to see what kind of situation Harumi, who was decided to be the Olympic athlete village to be held in Tokyo in 2020, is in progress.
The area around Harumi Pier was undergoing an amazing transformation.
The impressive building of "Harumi Passenger Ship Terminal" (pictured above, left building) was the same, but there were many buildings for the athlete village in the past, where it was a parking lot or around it. Was under construction
After the Olympics, an even higher-rise tower apartment will be built, and many houses will be lined up.
There was a sign saying "Athlete Village Construction Site"
From Harumi Wharf, you can see the building of Toyosu Market (Koto-ku), which opened after the relocation of Tsukiji Market in October last year.
Over there, on the 5th of this month, there was the first New Year's annual “first auction”, and bluefin tuna (278 kg) from Oma, Aomori Prefecture was auctioned off for 333.6 million yen per bottle.
The scenery of Harumi is changing rapidly.
