Opening of new head office in Haibara

1. May 25, 2015 09:00

I took a look at Mr. Haibara, who opened on the 20th. It is located on the west side of the Tokyo Nihonbashi Tower, which was completed in April. Mr. Haibara's familiar red logo was noticeable during the construction, so I was looking forward to it when it was completed. There is a good scent to enter the store from the entrance lined with celebratory orchids.

I came to look for a gift bag for a celebration, but I went around the shop just after a stylish day play. Gold seal, Imabari towel handkerchief, wrapping incense, two kinds of one-stroke paper "purchase" designed by Yumeji Takehisa.

As you know, "Haibara" is a long-established store dealing with Japanese paper products founded in 1806 (1806). When I ask the shop, it seems that the location of this new head office was the place where the shop was until 2011. With the redevelopment, I can't remember the previous streets completely "?"

100_1782.JPGAccording to the guidance of the shop, "Haibara's product design is handled by leading artists such as Shinshin Shibata, Kyosai Kawanabe, Yumeji Takehisa ..." It's luxurious. It seems that the one-stroke letter of Yumeji design was resurrected from what was requested by the fourth generation master.

It is fashionable that can be used for obi and kimono as it is. Washi was registered with UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Property.

Mr. Haibara seems to have more than 3,000 types of items handled, so I would like to enjoy a leisurely walk in the store again.

Let's try the authentic Naples Pittsia-Higashiginza "Ipporit"

1. May 23, 2015 09:00

When you gather at Tsukiji, "Let's have lunch today?" is one of the pleasures of women. One of the former "Ginza Tondenhei" (self-proclaimed when I was opening a lunch shop at a Ginza office) is in charge of finding a delicious shop, and always finds new places where to find it. I'm looking for This is one of them.

Cucina Napoletana Ippolito has just opened near Mihara Bridge in February this year. There is a pizza kiln at the entrance. There are 4 types of lunch menus, today is course A, "3 kinds of assortment appetizers", "Today's pasta OR pizza", and "coffee" 1400 yenya.

I was wondering whether to make pasta or pizza, but looking at the kiln at the entrance, it would be "pizza". You can choose from margerita base, marinara base, and Bianca base, and there are 5 types each. After struggling, I finally asked for a total of three types, one type each.

Surprisingly, it is nearly 20cm in diameter and is a volume that just protrudes from the plate.

Although it was desperate, it was a result of leaving one piece of each, but the Italian staff who came wrapped it for take-out as usual. The next shop is also Italian, and next to it is a standing drinking Japanese restaurant, and the staff of Ipporito said, "We opened together in February. Everyone is good friends, and I look forward to this shop next time." Somehow I felt very good.

Which store would you like to explore next time? I enjoyed it again. (Do you want to gain weight?)

The 130th anniversary fair is being held-Ginza Kyobunkan

1. May 21, 2015 09:00

I was shocked by the news of the closure of Ikebukuro Libro and went to Kyobunkan for the first time in a long time. I'm relieved to the store that doesn't change. Recently, the use of online bookstores has been mainly used, and I haven't stepped into bookstores for nearly a month! I'm surprised to notice that. When I was a worker, I looked into "two or three times a week." ・・ ・ It is true that online bookstores are convenient and arrive on the day of order as soon as possible! In addition, there are also information on the series of purchased books and "a little careless things" such as "the person who bought this book also buys such a book." However, when you want to buy it after examining the contents, it is still a bit ... When you enter the bookstore after a long absence, just look at the books piled up on the platform and clearly see "What people in the world are currently interested in?" ... It is difficult to feel such things.

Kyobunkan was founded as a publisher and bookstore of Christianity in 1885 (1885) and commemorates its 130th anniversary this year, and is currently holding a special feature on "Bestsellers by Age" as the "Kyobunkan 130th Anniversary Fair". On the wall of the stairs leading from the first floor to the second floor, strips of the best-selling list from 1885 (1885) to 2014, photographs of the time, colored paper of artists lined up, and the best-selling books at the entrance of the second floor There are available in the book. When I was a student, I felt like I was looking at the list of books and books, both 10 years ago. And the book of the real thing shows the pride that has survived for 10 years, saying, "I'm still active." It is a good project that can not be overlooked by book lovers.

Ginza Kyobunkan It opened at 10:00 from April.

The fair will be held until June 30.

Daikabuki begins in May of Dangiku Festival

1. May 13, 2015 14:00

It seems that there are many people who work in earnest from today after the GW is over, and the city seems to have returned to the usual situation.

On a sunny evening in May, I went to Kabukiza Theater.

100_1762.JPG100_1763.JPG

The Dangiku Festival has begun. The evening section is from "Keiyasu Taiheiki" to "Chuya Marubashi", Kabuki 18th "Snayanagi", and "Kami Akie Wago Initiative" (megumi's fight).

As you all know, the Dangiku Festival is held in honor of the achievements of the fifth generation Kikugoro and the ninth generation Danjuro, and has been held every May since it revived in 1977. An elderly woman who was photographed in front of the two statues in the first floor lobby of Kabukiza Theater, said, "I'd better be in front of Kikugoro," and it's pretty cute to see each other.

100_1764.JPG100_1765.JPG

I was checking while listening to the name line of Mr. Matsu Midori of Chuya Marubashi, "Sango here, Kashiko Gogo ...", but the numbers do not match! The appearance of being surrounded by the way of catching using the doorboard is also amazing. Ryuishi Matsu Midori, young. "Janeyanagi" is said to have been premiered by Danjuro, the fourth generation of Kabuki 18th, but it is a performance that is rarely performed in Kabuki 18th. This is the first performance in Kabukiza since Ebizo revived in a voluntary performance two years ago. The last "Megumi's fight" is familiar, but it is a spectacular word that each of the 40 Tobi and sumo wrestlers rampage narrowly. The large rise of jumping on the roof without a ladder or turning the dragonfly from the roof is harassed. This is the fun of Kabuki. There is no doubt that it will be shy.

In the intermission, I found a new product only in May. I always asked, "Do you have anything this month?", So I told me, "Yes." It's "Ooka in the middle of making it." It is a product in connection with the lunch performance "Ooka Masadan", but this confectionery shop is located where the Ooka family residence in Akasaka was located. It seems to be "handmade" because it is a type that puts bean paste on the skin when you have it. 3 pieces are 650 yenya. Since lunch is the last week, I decided to have it first.

Danjuro has died, but it is a gorgeous, lively and luxurious stage performed by the Ichikawa family Ichimon Sogo and Otowaya Ichimon Sogo. It is also recommended for those who are watching Kabuki for the first time because it is easy to understand.

"Wato Nihonbashi" (Japanese X Art) is being held-Cored Muromachi 1

1. May 11, 2015 09:00

In front of Mitsukoshi to see "Wato Nihonbashi" being held. Awesome people, people, people! Speaking of which, Kanda festival, the 400th anniversary of the transition, began. It's more busy than usual. The portable shrine of Suwa-jinja Shrine in Fujioka City has just arrived. The portable shrine of Suwa-jinja Shrine is said to have been dedicated to Suwa-jinja Shrine by Mitsui Echigoya, who had opened a silk shop here in 1780 (1780). At that edge, he decided to participate in portable shrine at Muromachi 1-chome. The golden color is also vivid, as it has just been repaired this year. Nearly 200 Ujiko people from Fujioka City can be seen. It should be even more lively.

"Wa and Nihonbashi" is a new word that combines "wa" and "art", and this theme is a collaboration between "Kimono", a traditional Japanese culture, and "Take Akari", which creates space using bamboo. "Hikari no Tea Party" in the bamboo tea room made in the air, "Tsukigumi Takarazuka Odori" costume display, "Summer Preparatory Kimono marche" etc. I went to "Kimono Coordinate Forest". It is a spectacular word that 200 kimonos, obis, and accessories for each season, spring, summer, winter, are fully coordinated and worn on torso. All of them are wonderful coordinates, and they say, "There are such arrangements!" The kimono seen in the soft and slightly fantastic space of bamboo light shows a different expression than usual.

If you go out one step further, you will come from here and there as you will soon arrive in portable shrine. The city is full of stylish designs and colors such as "Muro Ichi", "Kajijiji", "Norimonomachi", "ha", "ro", etc. Young people, seniors, women, men wear a half-wearing in the town where they live, and look somewhat proud. Oh, a persimmon-colored half-wearing, a little father with a diagonal pochette of Louis Vuitton, quite a fashion sense. Among them, you can also see the half-wearing of Mitsui Fudosan's Mitsukoshi. The following is a collection of short coats that have been noticed.

100_1760.JPG100_1761.JPG

The color, the logo design and the good Edo feel good. Is it Edo's design DNA while remembering the kimono of "Wato"? It was the afternoon of Nihonbashi Muromachi, which made me think.

"Wato Nihonbashi" will be open until May 10 (10:00 to 18:00) Coredo Muromachi 1 Nihonbashi Mitsui Hall
