On the east side of Ginza, the area around Kabukiza is different from Chuo-dori and Nishi-Ginza / Shimbashi, where there are private houses and wooden houses, and there is a place where the old downtown atmosphere remains. It is an interesting area where it is sometimes written as "Ura Ginza".
Originally, there were a number of delicious shops known to those who knew it, but since the famous Ochiai chef's shop "La Betla da Ochiai" was opened, Italian, casual French, creative cuisine, wine bars and various other shops open one after another.
It is also a small gourmet area.
Most of the shops have a small and friendly atmosphere, but there are quite a lot of authentic and reputed shops, some of which wait a few months for night reservations.
The price will also be like that, so I can't go so often, but when it comes to "lunch", it's a very familiar price!
At Ura Ginza in such a fierce lunch battlefield, the first thing I would like to recommend is the Italian restaurant "Baffo".
It is the basement of a building that entered the alley next to Hotel Daiei in Ginza 3-chome.
"Baffo" means "beard" in Italian.
As the name implies, the chef who greeted me with a smile has a wonderful mustard.
The table guided us had a well-cold water bottle, and immediately brought homemade bread and appetizer potato salad.
The fragrant and outer crisp bread is warm, and the potato salad is mashed with the whole skin to bring out the umami of the potatoes, and the crisp pungency of the onions is an exquisite accent.
It's already delicious enough, so I'm excited while waiting for the next one.
I had two friends on this day, so I asked Pizza Margerita for a Bologna-style sausage penne cream sauce and shared it.
The pizza baked in a kettle provided at the shop is thin type with crispy outside.
I can't say anything about the taste and aroma of cheese, and because it's simple, I can understand the goodness of the shop.
The penne is chewy, and the cream sauce and sausage match perfectly.
The flavor of Italian parsley tightened the whole.
When I was talking about the sauce left on the plate saying "Mottainai!", The chef added bread quickly!
And the last coffee is not a demitas cup, but a normal size and enough quantity.
So far, the fee is 1050 yen!
Then, I would like to order desserts, so I ordered lunch dessert for plus 350 yen.
What came out was a cheesecake, an apple with a moderately textured apple sweet cream, and a mascarpone cheese and chocolate cake with alcohol, and three servings on one plate. It is a very nice dish where you can taste products with different characteristics.
There are about 4 types of lunch, such as the classic pizza Marguelita and pizza salami, as well as pasta and fritts using seasonal ingredients purchased by chefs at Tsukiji Market.
All are 1050 yen with appetizers, homemade bread and coffee.
It's 350 yen plus dessert.
It is a shop where you can return home with a feeling of great gain.
By the way, the petit tomatoes that were dried on the barrel at the entrance are put in homemade foccia.
The bread and pizza were so delicious, so I thought it would be good, but since this seems to be not served for lunch, I wonder if I have to come at night next time~
