Stollen of "Tampurutan"

[Apricot peony] December 24, 2013 08:56

When I was a child, the names such as "patissier" or "chocolatier" were not known at all, and Christmas decoration cakes were the standard ones decorated with fresh cream with strawberries.

Today, Bushdonoel in the shape of logs and various cakes using plenty of chocolate, chestnuts, fruits, etc. have appeared, and the cake department store at this time seems to be a jewelry box more than ever.

If you are worried until the day of Christmas, or if you booked a popular shop earlier, you may have to do it?

In my home, a few years ago, one of my family had to refrain from fresh cream and chocolate for health reasons.

I thought it was a pity that I couldn't eat even though there were so many cakes on Christmas, but I found "Stolen".

To be precise, Stollen is not a cake, but a confectionary bread made in Germany during Christmas time, and the spicy hard dough contains plenty of fruits and nuts and lasts a long time.

It seems that it is baked on December 1 and eaten little by little until Christmas.

You may have come to see it because you care about it, but I feel that you have come to see it in famous bakeries and cake shops for the past few years.

It looks sober and has no decorative, but it contains a lot of nuts and fruits, so it seems that there are many things that make the price reasonable for a casual appearance.

When I tried Stollen from several shops, I liked the Stollen from Tsukishima's "Tampultan".

Located in Tsukishima, where the image of "Monja" is strong, it is a shop known to those who know it, but it has a high reputation among bread and cake lovers, and famous talent orders birthday cakes, so it was also featured in the media Has been done.

ck1203_20131224 (5). jpgStollen, about 18 cm in size, contains plenty of nuts and fruits boiled in my own shop, so it's very luxurious, but the price of 1250 yen is incredible.

In particular, this year marks the 20th anniversary of our founding, so we discounted two days on December 7 and 8.

The friends I gave last year have never become fans.

"It was very delicious!

When will you sell this year? "I was looking forward to it, so I bought it all at once, including my friends.

When I visited the shop, many people seemed to buy it again, saying, "It was delicious to eat at Christmas," so in some cases, they sold until the beginning of next year.

It lasts a long time, so it's perfect for New Year's Day.

In addition, the “Marugoto Apple” unique to this shop is made by boiling all apples as they are, wrapping them in homemade pie sheets, and baking them.

The apples are boiled softly in the right condition, the pie skin is fragrant, and it is a very recommended gem.

It's delicious as it is, but it's delicious even if you add ice cream or warm it in a microwave.

It's not a decoration cake, but this is the rule of Christmas sweets in my home.

The birthplace of Women's Seigakuin

The area around Akashicho, where St. Luke International Hospital is located, was a foreign settlement in the early Meiji era.

Foreign Christianity officials who wanted to make this a foothold for missionary work sent a lot of missionaries, and there were many facilities such as "private schools" by such people in this area.

Eventually, they became "schools", and many of the current mission-based schools have designated Akashicho as the "birthplace."

Around St. Luke's College of Nursing, there are girls' schools and Rikkyo Gakuin, and around Akashi Elementary School, along the way to Kanto Gakuin, Xiaosei Gakuen, Futaba Gakuen, Tsukuda-ohashi Bridge, Meiji Gakuin, Aoyama Gakuin, Women's Seigakuin, etc. There are monuments of "birthplace" such as.

In 2013, an explanation board about the Tsukiji settlement was also built beside Akashi Elementary School.

Under such circumstances, the monument of the birthplace of `` Women's Seigakuin '' near Tsukuda-ohashi Bridge is probably due to the people involved, and in the Christmas season, red, gold and silver Christmas decorations are decorated. I am.

The care that values the place of founding no matter how many years have passed and the cute decoration like a girls' school is very wonderful, and I stop and watch every time I pass.

Nanikaichi in Tsukiji Outer Market

[Apricot peony] December 11, 2013 09:00

Nanikaichi on the Tsukiji Outer Market has become an annual event.

In December, the 7th was Saturday for the first time in a long time, but it was very crowded, probably because of the influence of the special feature on Tsukiji Market on a popular TV program the day before.

In Nanikaichi, each store offers specialty products at special prices, and at the information center "Platto Tsukiji", unique events unique to Tsukiji, such as eating and comparing eggs, are held every month.

This month of Shiwasu's "Osechi Special Feature"

From the many famous Tsukiji shops, "Matsuro" of egg-yaki, "Irifune" of Kamaboko and Datemaki, char siu from meat Oomiya, and seaweed "Hatoya", which is indispensable for rice cakes, are gathered together. Was.

The small venue was full of many people, as they could sample the specialty products of each store.

In addition, "Matsuro Sand", which is specially sold at the head office of egg-yaki "Matsuro" in the monthly Nankaichi, is already sold out after 11 o'clock!

In the past, instead of a snack to be covered, the introduction of a slightly unusual sandwich, which recreated that I was eating egg-yaki on bread, was handed over to the next time, so the shop of `` Shoro '' could be lined up Was.

From now on, by the end of the year, more and more people will come and Tsukiji Market will be bustling.

Ginza Mochitsuki Tournament

[Apricot peony] 09:00 on December 7, 2013

One more time to leave the calendar.

New Year's cards were also sold, and advertisements for New Year's dishes began to be seen, but under such circumstances, the annual "rice cake making Tournament" was held at the Ginza 3-chome Azumacho Association behind Kabukiza.

While the women's club of the town council prepare glutinous rice, anko, kinako, etc. from the day before, men set up tents early in the morning on the day.

In the perfect weather, mortars and pestle were prepared in front of the jewel Inari in the valley of the building, and the town council members dressed in half-wearing dyed with the old town name "rice cake making began lively.

The freshly-made mochi was immediately sprinkled on grated radish, anko and kinako on the spot, baked on an iron plate to roll laver, put in zoni, and behaved to the people who gathered.

ck1203_20131203 (2). jpg ck1203_20131203 (6). jpg

The reason why the town council members are surprisingly skillful is that there are many food shops in everyday work.

There are a lot of delicious shops around here.

In addition, bean paste and kinako on rice cakes are provided by the town member Yoshiya Kibikicho.

Speaking of "Yoshiya Kibikicho", it is a famous shop that is often featured in the media for its very delicious dorayaki and cute crafted confectionery.

The owner's commitment to Anko and Kinako is a little different from that of Sojosoko.

Some people jump in and participate in "rice cake making", which rarely experience, while tasting the behavior of rice cakes. The little child was shouted by the town council, saying "Yoisho" with his hand.

ck1203_20131203 (4). jpg ck1203_20131203 (5). jpg

Even though it is Ginza, this area still has a downtown atmosphere.

At the same time, I was relieved by the warm exchanges of the town council, and at the same time, I was fine for the busy end of the year.
