"Banei" is always a cheerful greengrocer!

[Akoba Peony] 14:00 on June 5, 2013

ck12030605 (5). jpgFrom Tsukiji Station on the Hibiya Line and Hatchobori exit to Tsukiji Police, the greengrocer "Manei" in the first alley.
This area is not affected by air raids, and retro buildings from the early Showa era remain, but there are many large buildings, and recently many condominiums have been built.

Meanwhile, the wooden building, which feels like a residential store, has a very "old-fashioned greengrocer".
However, it is the young and agile elder brothers who work hard from the morning.
The goods are fresh and cheap, and there is a cheerful voice saying, "XX is a bargain today!"

Whether it is in the heat of intense heat or cold days in midwinter, I am always attracted by cheerful voices, and at lunchtime, people working in the neighborhood drop in and are very busy.
In the evening, housewives and people returning from work have a line of cash registers outside the store.
ck12030605 (1). jpg
The older brothers, who always have 3 to 4 people, gently talked to them, "Is it delicious at this time of year," or "Is it so sweet?" If the elderly have heavy luggage, they will be able to help them quickly, and look at them and feel really refreshing.
If you say, "I got this tomato where I was born," then I can't help but say, "Let's get it."

This shop, which has been around for a long time, has become such an atmosphere since his son took over the president, and the number of stores has increased.
In addition to Tsukiji, it is said that it is located in Shinkawa, Suitengu, and Hamacho, so when I asked a person who lives in Suitengu, at first he said, "Is there such a shop?" There are many young, energetic and comfortable children, and the goods are fresh and cheap, I immediately knew "Oh, there."
The other store was called "Produce Manei", so it seems that it did not come immediately.

Every Wednesday, items that are slightly different from usual and super featured items appear.
I'm attracted to the unique flyer, and I'm just looking forward to it.

Tsukiji Nanukaichi egg-baked kurabe

[Akoba Peony] 09:00 on May 11, 2013

Today, Tsukiji is said to be a fish shore, but it was located in Nihonbashi during the Edo period, when it originated.
After the Great Kanto Earthquake, it was moved to its current location in 1935.
In other words, in 2012, 77 years have passed.
To commemorate this, "Tsukiji Nanukaichi" started on the out-of-the-box market last year.
ck1203_130508 (2). jpg
On the 7th of every month, I'm really looking forward to going, such as offering specialty gems at special prices and limited items that sell only on the 7th, but on May 7th, after the consecutive holidays, Tsukiji's first or the world's first time that eggs from the Tsukiji Outer Market can be gathered and eaten compared? The event was held!

As there is the phrase "giant, Taiho, and tamagoyaki", many people, from children to adults, like tamagoyaki.
I like it too!
Even if you take it to souvenirs, you will be very pleased.

Originally, it seems that Tsukiji has many tamagoyaki shops because it is used for sushi rice, but when asked, "Which shop is delicious?", I can't answer in a word, the deep part of Tsukiji.
This is because there are 8 shops on the out-of-market map!
Each store not only sticks to the eggs of the ingredients, but also creates its own taste by devising the sweetness, the broth, and the baking.
Furthermore, depending on the shop, besides plain ones, eel and duck, Anako, crab, cherry shrimp, wild vegetables and real pepper, leeks and honey leaves, plum dried and chili, seasonally matsutake mushrooms and chestnuts are included!
With this alone, it was very difficult to conquer the whole store, and honestly I was having trouble answering.

I saw a poster for this event.
At the moment I saw it, I couldn't help but think, "Who was thinking of such a happy project!"

By the way, on the day, when you go to the venue "Platto Tsukiji", there is a reception first, and you will pay 200 yen there.
Then a white tray and a fork will be given.

ck1203_130508 (5). jpg ck1203_130508 (6). jpg
The tray is covered with paper, and the names of the eight participating stores are written there.
On the left of the reception, there is a corner of "Yamacho", where you can put eggs in the place where "Yamacho" is written in the tray.
ck1203_130508 (3). jpg

Then, when you go around the venue clockwise, "Marutake", "Hondama Kojima", "Tamahachi", "Tamatomo", "Daison", "Osada", and "Matsuro", followed by the 8 participating stores on the tray. System.

At the last "Matsuro", we also presented a pack of two eggs.
In addition, you will receive a flyer with various service benefits, and eat it!

ck1203_130508 (7). jpg ck1203_130508 (4). jpg

It was my first time eating this at the same time.
As an amateur, the first thing to notice is that there is a big difference in sweetness.
And the way the soup is made is completely different.
In addition, there is a fluffy texture, and there is something smooth and smooth.
No, everyone is hard to beat, and I'm very satisfied with the food town Tsukiji.
If you like sweets, you're one step closer to that shop, and if you like soup stock, you can recommend this shop and Tsukiji masters that you can recommend according to your taste.

ck1203_130508 (1). jpg

And on June 7th,

It is called 'Shincha and Nori' and 'Tokinori'.

This is the first event in Tsukiji.

It will be a deep world again.

The Tsukiji Spring Festival is held from April 27 to May 3.

[Akoba Peony] 14:00 on April 24, 2013

"Spring Festival" of Tsukiji Outer Market has become an annual event.
This year, due to the 750th anniversary of the Shinran Saint of Honganji, this is an expanded version of the Golden Week from April 27 to May 3.
ck1203_1304231.jpg
First of all, for the three days from April 27 to 29, "750 square" appears in the precincts of Honganji!

Local gourmets are gathered in products from Iwate, Miyagi, Fukushima and Tokyo prefectures.
Local characters will also be gathered.

The "750 Fair" will be held from April 27 to May 2 at the out-of-the-box market.
Special items are packed, and luxurious products are won by lottery for each receipt of 1,000 yen.

I was waiting for May 3! It was "half price city."

vk1203_1304232.jpg

The specialty of each store is a half price, which is not sold out.
This half price city is expected to be very crowded.

We will teach you the tricks unique to the local area.
①The half price market starts at 10:00, so before that, get a list of half price items of each store and a flyer of map.

②Check the flyer and prioritize the items you want to buy.
→Most of the items are limited, so they line up from stores that are likely to disappear soon.
The egg-grilled "Matsuro" is very popular, so if you do other shopping, it may be sold out.

③I'm in a hurry. → Because narrow roads are crowded, it may be faster to go to the other side of Harumi-dori St. or Shin-ohashi-dori St.

④If you take a break, go to Tsukiji River Park or Higashiginza → There are few places in the market where you can sit and calm down, so if the weather is fine, go to Tsukiji River Park in Hongan Teraura.
It is a calm place where the bustle of the market is like a lie, there is a lot of greenery and you can hear the sound of birds.
Also, if you walk for 5-6 minutes, you will find the most talked-about spot in Higashiginza, Higashiginza, where the Kabukiza Theater is now located, and there are many cafes and restaurants around you that can slowly settle down.

The stamp rally commemorating the 50th anniversary of Higashi-Ginza Station is also being held.

I'll have to go to Tsukiji for Golden Week!

Higashi-Ginza Station 50th Anniversary stamp rally

[Akoba Peony] April 18, 2013 09:00

ck1203_1304164.jpg
"Higashi-Ginza Station" opened in 1963.
We celebrated our 50th anniversary this year!
To commemorate this, stamp rally is being held in collaboration between Tokyo Metro and Kyoueikai Tsukiji.

The period is from March 23 (Sat) to May 6 (Mon).
The stamp installation locations are Hatchobori Station (in front of the office in the ticket gate), Tsukiji Station (outside the ticket gate for Honganji), Tsukiji to Michikan (2nd floor of the Tsukiji KY Building at the intersection of Shin-ohashi-dori St. and Harumi-dori St.), Higashi-Ginza Station Concourse, Higashi-Ginza Station (in front of the office in the ticket gate).

The order is OK wherever you go from.
After all pushing, cut out the "application form" under the flyer at the mailing entrance in the ticket gate of Hatchobori Station or Higashi-Ginza Station, fill in the necessary information such as your name, and mail it. You will win Tokyo Metro goods for 50 people by lottery, and 25 groups of 50 people will win a special tuna steak lunch from the cafe restaurant "Tsukiji Bon Marche"!

At the same time, at the Tsukiji KY Building (the corner of the intersection of Shin-ohashi-dori St. and Harumi-dori St.), [Tsukiji Karamichikan] on the second floor of the Tsukiji KY Building (the corner of the intersection of Shin-ohashi-dori St. and Harumi-dori St.), [Tsukiji, Higashiginza, "Meiji, Taisho era, Showa no Tsukashi Photo Exhibition]].
You can see valuable photos from the Kyobashi Library.
There is no doubt that the place I have just walked has been like that in the past.
ck1203_1304163.jpg ck1203_1304161.jpg

ck1203_1304165.jpg
In the same place, there is also a special panel that can be taken with the "3000 Series" vehicle, which was very popular with railway fans.

In addition, at the same time, Part 2 is a special sponsorship sale by 28 stores in the Tsukiji KY Building, which is holding this photo exhibition at the location of the stamp stand!
If you present a flyer with stamps of more than two places at Tsukiji Machikan and other places, you can get a discount at each shop or get a gift.
(The benefits vary from shop to shop. In addition, the number may be limited, so please check with a flyer etc.)

For those who are thinking about where to go during Golden Week, why not go to the new Kabukiza Theater and go to Tsukiji, enjoy food and shopping, and join this stamp rally?

ck1203_1304162.jpg
(The stamp stand in front of the offices of Hatchobori Station and Higashi-Ginza Station is in the ticket gate, so a ticket is required for entry and exit. Stamp installation time is from 9:00 to 20:00, and "Tsukiji to Michikan" is from 9:00 to 16:00. )

Kabukiza Kakirochi (Kabukiza Kakirochi) performance in April

[Akoba Peony] 10:00 on April 6, 2013

I'm gone!
The new Kabukiza persimmon roof performance, and it is the first day of April 2!
ck1203_130405 (3). jpg ck1203_130405 (1). jpg

Although I had been selling tickets early on, I missed the time while I was wondering which one to look at, and almost gave up.
However, in the "first act seat" on the 4th floor, which is only sold on the day, when it calmed down a little after the middle day, it was connected to hope that it could be done by arranging it.

Still, I gave up on the first day that I couldn't do it, but on the way back after completing my errand in the morning, when I stopped at the ticket office in the first act, I could buy the three parts starting at 6:00, for about an hour and a half I guess!
If you don't see this, it's right at the end of the line.
When I was talking about Kabuki with the person in charge and the people who lined up front and rear, it took time in no time. (When the lights were lit up at 5:30, it was a great applause.)

ck1203_130405 (2). jpg ck1203_130405(5). jpg

Incidentally, "Ichi Act Viewing Seat" is a dedicated seat set up on the fourth floor where only one of several acts can be seen.
The price varies depending on the curtain, but it is cheaper than the cheapest 3rd floor B seat.
It will be replaced every time the curtain changes, so there is a partition so as not to get into the regular seat, and it is a bit disappointing that you can not go to the cafeteria, shop, lobby, etc.

In the April performance, the third part has two acts, "Moritsuna Jinya" and "Kanjincho", so it will be replaced when "Moritsuna Jinya" ends. (However, when you buy a ticket, you can also buy the amount of "Kanjincho" together, so if you buy both, you can stay.)

Unlike other plays, today's Kabuki performances rarely perform one story from the beginning to the end, and take up a famous act of different stories to become independent, and combine them into one performance is often performed.
Of course, it is certain that those who know all the stories will deepen their understanding, but just one act there will be enough stories and you can enjoy it with a show place.

When I was a student, I had to manage it with a small pocket money, and I took care of this "first act seat" quite a lot.
At that time, there were only steep staircases, and it was a free seat, so I ran up at once with a good seat.
However, in the next building, there is an elevator as soon as you enter from the dedicated entrance, so you can easily go to the 4th floor, and you can feel the newness after all.
I was even more happy to see the flower path that I couldn't see before!

ck1203_130405 (4). jpg
"I can see the flower path" is very important, and in Kabuki, a major person appears or withdraws from the flower path, but on the way, I always say a line or perform a performance.
In the first act seat on the 4th floor before, I could only hear and imagine the sound, but in the new theater, I was very impressed to be able to see Benkei's withdrawal from Hirokukata properly.

Of course, Kabukiza is like a theme park as a whole theater, eating, walking around the lobby, buying things that can only be bought at shops, and watching furniture, ornaments, and ornaments. It is a great pleasure to see.
This time, I want to do my best and get an advance ticket.
