A solo exhibition by quilt artist Flame "Red Silk Momi-Ten and Earth"

[kimitaku] December 5, 2014 14:00

P1010157honoo.jpg
In mid-October at the Shirota Gallery in Ginza

A solo exhibition by quilt writer Michiko Someya was held.

 Someya lives in Kyoto.

I suffered a serious illness more than a dozen years ago and lived in a fight.

At that time, I happened to meet "Kofu" and was fascinated by its charm. After leaving the hospital, I used Kofu to produce quilts.

P1010152sibori.jpgSomeya says, "This Kofu and others are from the Edo period. It is not seen now and is thrown away. I was so sorry that I bought Kofu and revived it as a quilt work. "I was saved by these Kofu and others."

The event was held on the 6th, but he said, "I was very happy to see many customers."

You said you would like to hold it again next year.

・・... When I stood in front of the bright red "flame" quilt extending toward heaven, I was filled with a feeling of washing my heart. ・・・・・・・・

Blessed with fine autumn weather, before 10 o'clock, customers were watching the dolls from boxes in front of their favorite shops. There are 57 stores.

The owner of a handmade shop

The doll put on hand salt seems to have the feeling of giving his child to his bride.

At a long-established doll shop, Japanese-style dolls are available to customers.

It makes you feel the tradition of Ningyocho.

You may see the walking tunabushi in Chuo-ku. (Harumi district 2)

P1010001-6.jpg

 I'm heading to Harumi Wharf.

On the right side, the opposite bank of the Asashio Canal is the Toyomi district.

Tsukishima Wharf (Hokai Wharf).

Shortly after we went to Harumi Park. The stone walls are assembled and the atmosphere of the castle ruins.

As you go along the way, you will see Harumi Passenger Terminal beyond the fountain.

Proceed to the sea side, sometimes a large ship anchored on the quay.

Looking at the boat, look to the left and see the Venus sculpture.

P1010007kamome-11.jpgP1010006megami-1.jpg

On the way to the observation tower, there is a wonderful monument. There is a small bird on the surface of the water.

While looking at it, you will go up to the observation tower. Mount Fuji is beautiful when it's fine.

The Sky Tree and of course Triton Square are up close.

Take the elevator to the ground at once. It's comfortable with the gentle air conditioning.

Go outside and head toward Triton, this area is a candidate site for the Olympic athlete village.

From time to time, the Metropolitan Police Department White Bike Corps is practicing seriously.

In the past, sometimes airships flew off from here.

When you go east through the construction site of Ring Route 2 and head to the hotel group, you will get a good scent.

 It's the Katsuobushi Center.

Bonitobushi from famous shops such as Nihonbashi are transported here, dried in the sun at this place and shipped.

When I ask the clerk, "Tunabushi" is in front of me. It looked a little thicker.

Tunabushi is said to be used at a long-established soba shop in Nihonbashi.

Go up Harumi Ohashi, look at the refreshing sea, and this time to the warehouses, something retro.

After leaving the warehouses, go to "Hot Plaza Harumi".

There is a stylish Italian restaurant on the second floor. Take a break here.

After looking at the Rainbow Bridge on the terrace on the second floor, head to Asashio Kobashi.

Seto Udon Ginza 1-chome store

[kimitaku] August 19, 2014 14:00

On the west side of Ginza 1-chome, along Showa-dori, walk toward Nihonbashi.

A little before approaching the Kyobashi area, there was a shop facing the street.

Early in the morning, the light was shining brightly and my stomach was empty, so I entered the shop.

When I notice, it's a udon restaurant in Sanuki.

There was a clerk at the entrance, and here I ordered udon.

If you go through the counter, you will find tempura.

Take each of your favorite ingredients with chopsticks and calculate at the end.

I ordered a breakfast curry set. The price is 300 yen.

DSC_0115tennai-1.jpgDSC_0114kareseto-1.jpgIf you look around, there are 60 chairs.

The large store is vacant and comfortable.

Atsuatsu udon and mini curry bowl are used as trays.

I'll carry it to the table.

Sit by the window and relax with the view of the street.

Shortly afterwards, several customers came by car on foot.

The customers of Sanuki Udon-dori are a bit smart, different from me.

"Atsu," "Hie," and so on. It's comfortable to your ears when you eat it.

While watching it, I thought I had to study Sanuki udon from now on.

The calm shop was waiting for many customers in the future.

There are a lot of toppings.

Walking in Chuo-ku (Harumi West District 1)

[kimitaku] July 31, 2014 17:00

The first time is information on the west side of Harumi-dori St. in Harumi district.

Transportation is Kachidoki Station on the Oedo Line.

By bus, get off at "Kachidoki Station", head toward Harumi, and follow the west side of Reimei Bridge toward Harumi.

DSC_0072-1.jpg

When you cross the Reimei Bridge, you will see the morning tide canal boat landing on the right.

There are many boats coming and going in the afternoon, and at night the lights of ships such as Japanese lantern are exceptional.

Customers wearing yukata on both the houseboat and the cool-down boat are also on board.

DSC_0061-2.jpg

Cross the bridge, on the right is the newly renovated Reimeibashi Park.

Instead of a fountain, a fog fountain ...? It will heal the visitors who come. I feel good in summer.

DSC_0177-4.jpg

Go out of the park and go along the right river. When you go down Asashio Water Park, you'll get a sea sign.

Looking at the numbers.

The bottom of the river is quite deep.

In front of Tokyo Towers, Ring Route 2 toward Shimbashi is under construction.

Head to Harumi Wharf and go through the overpass Route 2. Around this time, the appearance has changed rapidly over time, such as the construction of a high-rise building related to the Ring Route 2.

P1000892-1.jpgLet's go through Plaza Harumi and look at Tokyo Bay. This is a spot where you can see Mount Fuji while walking.

Early in the morning, when the atmosphere is stable, the male figure is.

However, this "Mot Mount Fuji" may be full of this year.

A high-rise building is under construction in the direction of Shibaura. "Mount Fuji" will soon be over the building. I'm sorry.

At the end of the harbor fire department is a spot.

Next time, from Harumi Wharf.

The taste of first love "Japanese bayberry" is a bell at Harumi Wharf.

[kimitaku] June 25, 2014 18:00

DSC_0167-1.jpg

During the rainy season, we took a walk at Harumi Wharf Park.

DSC_0164-1.jpg
When you enter the park from the old water bus stop, there are a lot of pigeons "swarm on the ground.

When you walk in what it is, the area is full of sour fruit scents.

DSC_0158-.jpg

When I looked up, I saw a big evergreen, a bright red, and a little fruit.

・・... "Japanese bayberry." ・・・・・・・・・

When contained in the mouth, a small grain but sweet and sour scent spreads in the mouth.

Even at the "Japanese bayberry" Tsukiji Market Fruits and Vegetables Department and outside the venue, they are lined up in stores for about a week in mid-June.

I told the wife of a standing drink in Tsukishima.

"It's the taste of my first love that I tasted with my lost husband during my honeymoon in Kochi ... nostalgic ..."

The sweet and sour scent of Japanese bayberry, which was sold in red, reminded me that I would never forget it.

Looking for it, it seems that there are two or three large trees in the park of this "Japanese bayberry".

During the rainy season, during the morning and evening walks, why not enter the evergreen forest and enjoy the scent of Japanese bayberry? Green trees deliver sweet and sour scent.
