There is a tuna monument at the exit of Tsukiji Market Station.

[kimitaku] February 28, 2014 14:00

Take the Oedo Line Tsukiji Market Station toward Hamarikyu, and you will find a "tuna monument" in front of the intersection.

P1000742-1.jpg

 I read the inscription.

A hydrogen bomb test was conducted at Bikini Atoll in the South Pacific on March 1, 1954.

Then, some of the tuna caught from the exposed "No. 5 Fukuryu Maru" arrived at the market, and a Tokyo inspection revealed radioactive contamination.

The contaminated fish (sharks, tuna) were buried in this corner.

Nearly 460 tons of contaminated fish were found in more than 850 fishing boats nationwide, and it was written that market officials and fishery officials were also hit hard, such as panic throughout Japan and no "seri" was established in Tsukiji Market. I am.

It is written that this plate was made with donations (10 yen) from many children from all over the country so that such nuclear damage does not occur.

The date of creation of the plate is March 1, 1999.

It's just a small monument on the back of the intersection.

Chuo-ku "Fureai" town walking map will be introduced.

[kimitaku] January 28, 2014 09:00

This is an introduction of the city walk map.

These six maps are issued by the Chuo-ku Tourism Association, Chuo-ku Shopping Street Federation, and Chuo-ku.

If you pick it up and arrange it, you will be introduced to Chuo-ku with six pieces.

P1000668-1.jpg

It is made with a gentle color that makes you want to take it in your hand and carry it around.

P1000669-1.jpg

The first one.
This page is located near Nihonbashi Kyobashi from Tokyo Station.

Each of the historic shopping streets is listed, and its main events are also written.

The second one is around Ginza, and the third one is near Tsukiji.

There is also a huge map at the "Platto Tsukiji" information center outside the construction area.

P1000659-1.jpgP1000661-1.jpg

The fourth one is around Ningyocho Hamacho and Higashinihombashi. The fifth one is Hatchobori, Kabuto-cho, and Kayabacho.

P1000672-1.jpg P1000673-1.jpg

In the shopping streets around Hatchobori, there are many divisions from Edo, and the shopping streets seem to remain the same as the old divisions.

P1000674-1.jpg

The sixth one is Tsukuda, Kachidoki, Tsukishima and Harumi.
Chuo-ku, which can be seen from this map, is surrounded by many canals and rivers, and seems to be a city of water.P1000675-1.jpg

Why don't you take a walk around Chuo-ku with the "Fureai Town Walking Map" in one hand on the day off?

The map seems to be limited. As soon as possible. It is provided for the ward office, branch office, and Chuo-ku Tourism Association.

Kyoto vegetable in downtown "Back alley story" IN Ningyocho

[kimitaku] December 18, 2013 08:36

On the way to Koharu weather.

Walk along Koza-dori from the intersection of Genji store (Gen Ya Dana) toward Kanda in the west.

I found Kyoto vegetables in the second alley.

 P1000638-ieb.jpgP1000645-1jinn.jpg

 Fresh vegetables.

I was exposed to the clear skin in the winter sunshine.

P1000639-kuro.jpgP1000640-1.jpg

 I asked my husband.

The husband and the landlady of Hiiragiya, a very famous ryokan in Kyoto, are cousin.

An acquaintance with a vegetable research institute of an NPO I met near Daimaru Department Store near Nishikikoji.

It seems that they are having different vegetables.

My husband has lived in Ningyocho for a long time and has also participated in the baseball team (Nihonbashi Dorinkers).

I also showed you the picture.

Kyoto vegetables ・ ・ ・ ・ ・ ・ ・ Vegetables that have pale colors and somehow gentle scent of soil.

Black bean shrimp potato from Kujo Negi Tamba of canola flower Kamogawa in Sagano

The bright red Kintoki carrot is even more transparent than the maple of Arashiyama.

It seems that they are open for two people, while the husband is dealing with me, the landlady said, distributing leaflets to the Neighborhood Association, and customers immediately.

P1000646-1.jpgP1000644-1jinn.jpg

I also bought Kyoyama potatoes all-you-can-pack 500 yen shrimp potatoes.

It seems that the shop opens about once a month.

It is said that the next day is just after New Year, and we plan to open a store in Kachidoki "marche of the Sun".

Here in Ningyocho, it seems that the sales space is a little small and you are looking for a place where you can always sell.

"Nipponmaru" at Harumi Wharf

[kimitaku] Nov. 30, 2013 14:00

We walked around Harumi Wharf during lunchtime when we were surrounded by the autumn weather.

Today, a large cruise ship "Nipponmaru" was landing.

Earlier, I introduced the sailing ship Nippon Maru.

Today, I would like to introduce the cruise ship "Nipponmaru".

At the entrance of the pier terminal, the date and time of arrival and departure are indicated.

There is Ho Chi Minh, the front port of Oarai next port.

P1000546.JPG

The rescue boat is orange and beautiful. From the rooftop of the terminal, I looked at the huge chimney while looking at Odaiba.

P1000562.JPGP1000564.JPG

The guard ship in the foreground looks like a bean grain.
Some customers leave the ship for a short time.

The next two days far away from Vietnam, "Nipponmaru" left the pier.

Introduction of Arimatsu squeezed "Takeda Kabei Shoten" Tokyo store

[kimitaku] Nov. 13, 2013 09:00

P1000446-tanmono2.jpg Near Ningyocho, near Koami Shrine

Arimatsu aperture

Takeda Kahei Shoten Tokyo store "Sasaka" is located.

Although the frontage is narrow, when you enter the shop, there are lots of wonderful kimonos dyed with squeezed.

Just before noon, the clerk responded with a smile.

The main store is located in Nagoya City, and it was said that during the Kanpo period (around 1741), it was branched from the main store of Takeda Shokuro Shoten.

P1000459-sibori.jpgP1000457-1.jpg

I had you explain Arimatsu aperture.

According to the design, the dough is tied with thread, squeezed, dyed, and made.

The process is very advanced, and there is no guide on white fabric, and the pattern tied with thread will be turned off as it is.

Each person has a one-of-a-kind technique, and it is said that there are as many as 100 types.

It is said that it is a traditional craft that spends a lifetime on the fingertips of each squeezing and one streak.

For example, even in the well-known "Kanoko Squeezing", hand-knoted deer, protruding deer, Ichimoku Kanoko, Kyogoku Kanoko, and Yokobiki Kanoko. It is said that there is no other thing.

Skillfulness is also required for dyeing, but it is also difficult to remove the dyed cloth thread. It is said that the method of "wilt removal" is different depending on each aperture.

P1000445-tenugui.jpg He said that 90% of the world's squeeze dyeing techniques were developed in Japan, and unlike other dyeings, they do not use glue or wax.

I also wanted a cute "squeezing dyeing" hand towel and a beautiful pattern that evokes the tradition of Edo culture.

Note: Aperture is an advanced one in which when tied with thread before dyeing the fabric, the place becomes white and other places are dyed. A technique from before Chronicles of Japan.

Arimatsu squeezing is transmitted to the world. Paris Collection (1993) Exhibitions have been held in Germany, Austria, the United States, and other countries.

P1000447-kin.jpgP1000453-sebiro.jpg

It seems that Kinsan Gin-san, who was famous for longevity, was also a squeezed engineer.

The photo with a smile is Mr. Tokyo store manager.

Address of the shop 1-11-9, Nihonbashi Kakigaracho, Chuo-ku

Phone number 03-3666-4649

How to get to the shop :

If you hit the street in front of Koami Shrine, behind Nihonbashi Elementary School in Ningyocho toward Nihonbashi River, you will see a business hotel on your left. Go left on the road in front of the hotel and walk several tens of seconds. The nearest station is Ningyocho. A few minutes on foot.

Introduction of Yanagi Kayo Clinic (Chinese medicine Internal Medicine)

[kimitaku] October 30, 2013 09:00

One of the few in Chuo-ku

This is an introduction to Yanagi Kayo Clinic, a specialty clinic specializing in Chinese medicine.

P1000439-1.jpgThe location is located on the third floor of a building that walks a little toward Edobashi from the intersection of Nihonbashi Kaki shellcho 1-chome Tokanbori Street and Shin-ohashi-dori St.

I'll ask you.

It is said that the hospital opened in 2008, when it became possible to add "Chinese medicine" to the medical department advocacy (*).

 Mr. Kayo Yanagi

He worked as an anesthesiologist at Osaka University Hospital for a long time and earned a doctorate, but he met Chinese medicine ten years ago and became able to understand long-standing questions about Western medicine.

P1000440-1.jpg

Chinese medicine doesn't deny Western medicine, but wants you to use it together to "take good things."

You look at the whole person in Chinese medicine, and your body heals yourself, and in that case you have to improve your lifestyle. And if Chinese medicine could help heal the whole body. You said.

What are the characteristics of Chinese medicine? : I examine each person and make a different prescription for the same illness and symptoms.

    "The same disease" That's right.

The teacher himself was also in Chinese medicine, and since he recovered his health, he has been more and more involved in the charm of Chinese medicine.

For patients who have no abnormalities in the test, but are somehow in poor physical condition or suffer from atopic, allergies, diabetes, etc.

I hope you will feel free to contact us.

P1000441-1.jpg

yanagi-1.jpg

How to make a reservation, etc. (Actually, I am also a patient at our clinic.)

I couldn't feel well, so I decided to have a medical examination at "Yanagi Kayo Kuriniri Nic" in early spring.

When you call, you need to make a reservation, and before that, please fill out the medical questionnaire in detail. After filling out the form, send it to our hospital

On the day, the teacher looked seriously at the contents filled out, and asked me, about 40 minutes that time. After receiving a prescription, I go to the hospital about once a month. From the second time, the medical hours will be completed in about 15 minutes.

"Thanks to you, it's completely recovered now. I can't catch the case.

"Don't drink cold things, get up early," may have been good to follow the instructions. )
