Let's grow Chuo-ku community bus

[Shitamachi Tom] May 27, 2009 09:15

20090522 Test Drive jpgFrom the end of this year, a "community bus" will run in our Chuo-ku.

Currently, specific introductions are being studied in the ward.

The other day, I participated in the test drive event. The bus is not of this specification, but it was a ride experience while running on the actual scheduled route.

(The photo shows a test drive that waits for departure in front of the ward office.)

What I learned again is, "There are various interesting areas in the city." I'm getting more and more interested.

I think this bus will be useful for sightseeing. We hope that not only inhabitants of a ward but also many people from outside the ward will visit and learn more about the charm of Chuo-ku.

Refreshing harmony in the quiet precincts

[Shitamachi Tom] May 20, 2009 20:23

20090520tsukiji.JPG In the evening of late May, when the scent of early summer began to spread, a "survey to respect Japanese" was held on the grounds of Tsukiji Honganji Temple.

The five members of the opera unit "LEGEND" told us beautiful harmony. karaoke

It is a time to forget the hustle and bustle of the city, with famous Japanese and Western songs echoing in the precincts.

Since ancient times, shrines and temples have been a field of cultural transmission, but it is nice that many people gather in this way even today.

There are many other historical shrines and temples in Chuo-ku, so I would like to visit various places for a stroll. club

I pray for the happiness and development of the inhabitants of the ward.confident

The 62nd Minato matsuri 2009 in Harumi Wharf

[Mapo ★] May 17, 2009 23:32

Most of Chuo-ku was Ginza, and Harumi was the first time.
I love the sea, the harbor, and ships.
I was looking forward to Minato matsuri 2009, where I can enjoy everything.yacht

First of all, I wanted to get off at the win on the Oedo Line and go to Triton Square.
Cross the Triton Bridge and lunch at Triton Square.

From there, I walked to Harumi's passenger ship terminal.
On the way, there was also a venue for the Olympic Games.

As you approach the wharf, it becomes more and more lively.

On the way, I saw a large sailing ship parked on the left side.
An exhibition sailing training for the sailing ship "Kaiomaru" was being performed.

RIMG0012.JPG RIMG0026.JPG

There were also rare ships open to the public, and there were three ships.
I went inside Kaitakamaruship
Students from Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology are here and there on board.
"Hello ~" and greeting me, it was a very good atmosphere.

  RIMG0043.JPG RIMG0037.JPG

I could see the ice of the South Pole and the cockpit.

Next, I went up to the observation deck of the passenger ship terminal.
With a panoramic view, I could see the Rainbow Bridge and Tokyo Tower.
On the port stage, Yuko Uno was singing Sazae-san.note

RIMG0055.JPG RIMG0045.JPG

There are so many events, and only a few I saw.
Oh, there were also Kuta-kun and Pepo-kun (laughs).

Finally, take a water bus, cross to Hinode Pier, and reach Yurika Momo to Shiodome.
I took the water bus to Odaiba about 5 years ago.
After all, the boat is good~ heart02I'm excited.

Harumi Wharf also has observation deck, restaurants, boats and parks.
Even if it's not Minato matsuri, you can enjoy it enough if the weather is nice.sun

Kanda festival (May 9 and 10)

[Mikazuki] May 17, 2009 21:03

Kanda festival. JPGOn May 9th and 10th, there was the Kanda Festival once every two years.

Kanda festival is one of Japan's three major festivals, and Nihonbashi is the shrine parishioner town council of Kanda Myojin, along with Kanda, Otemachi, Marunouchi and Akihabara. There are about 200 portable shrines from 108 shrine parishioner Town Association, so on the 9th and 10th, many people come to see the festival with lively shouts of music and mikoshi and the voices of cheerful children who draw floats all day.

In the Shinko Festival cruise that connects the traditions of Edo to the present, people dressed in costumes, horses and cows pass in front of them, and sometimes chief priest purifies visitors.

Kanda festival, which makes you feel like a time trip during the Edo period while staying in the city center, is especially recommended for those who love history. The next time will be two years later, so why not come by all means?

Wanpaku Sumo Tournament

[Mikazuki] May 17, 2009 20:16

A venue full of enthusiasm. JPGChuo-ku Wanpaku Sumo Tournament was held today at Chuo-ku Sports Center in Hamacho Park.

At the annual event, boys and girls at elementary schools in Chuo-ku were separated, and many children were seriously engaged in sumo wrestling, and great applause and cheers occurred from the hall, and the hall was full of enthusiasm and I was very impressed .

Since Chuo-ku is close to both countries, children in the sumo room are also participating. The body and skill are adults, and you can see full-fledged sumo wrestling. I would be glad if the future Yokozuna was born among these children today.confident

If you win the game, you can write a circle on your arms. The children are looking forward to this tournament because they want the excitement of victory and this circle. Unfortunately, there were a lot of children who lost their game and were crying. Don't forget this hot feeling today.

A child who has been participating in the tournament every year for six years and has not been able to win one win until now has a classmate's sumo room rehearsal and looked forward to the last tournament of the sixth grader. I lost unfortunately in the first round, but I won the loser's revival match and became the first and last streak, and the very refreshing expression was The white star of longing. JPGimpressive. I took a commemorative photo of the happy Shiromaru that was not a white star.happy02

The festival is great! Sir

[Kaishu] May 13, 2009 13:44

At noon on May 10 (Sun) during Child Welfare Week, Akatsuki Park in Tsukiji.

It is a quiet park on weekdays, but on this day, Tsukiji / Shinkawa Children's Center Festival

"Omatsuri Daisuki! Jikan" is held and is full of energetic children.

 "Face painting", "Jumbo Origami", "Noboricho"

There are a lot of fun games.

In the fog fountain square, "hole-in-one" and "challenge in a trap."

In "Nodate" sitting upright, a girl with a little tension and a stupid face.

However, in the ninja play "Kids Sasuke", when you look at the grade board, what! !

The 1st, 2nd and 3rd place are all "Women Sasuke".

 What was the final result?

The theme parks such as Disneyland are thriving these days.

Having a simple game and spending time in a local park is also valuable for a young day.

 It will be a memory.
