Every year, I participated in a nearby summer festival held on the same day as the Sumida River fireworks. Chuo-ku is a city, but when it comes to festivals due to the Edo atmosphere, it is crowded with many people, from elderly people wearing yukata to children.

When you purchase a cool-down fun ticket from the town council, you will have juice, takoyaki, oden, yakisoba, ice cream, Frankfurt, quoits, putter golf, and super bowl scooping. It is a very homey festival because neighbors bake yakisoba etc.

Even with this alone, there is a sense of value at 800 yen, but the lottery tournament is exciting every year. Two bicycles are annual, but this year there was also an eel meal ticket and a total of about 50 prizes. raffle was too busy with the joyful faces of the children who hit them, and the children who had a close number. I used to win 1 million yen in lotteries before, and the lottery is good, so I applied a fan at this festival three years ago, but this year all the three people who participated have been removed.

The Bon Odori after the raffle will soon make a big circle and cheer up just by watching the people who hit the drums well. Ama watermelon was distributed on the way, but I think it is unique to this neighborhood where there are many cheap and delicious greengrocers.

One of the attractions of Chuo-ku is that the festival in the neighborhood is lively, lively and fun.

Chuo-ku is a place where Bon Odori is popular. Various "Bon Odori" are held here and there, depending on the weather that tends to be wet. Thanks to the efforts of each town council, "Bon Odori in Chuo-ku" is one of the fun summer events that everyone can participate in.  The summer tradition, Setomono Market, will be held from August 3 (Mon) to 5 (Wed) from 9:00 to 20:00. The place is on both sidewalks of Ningyocho-dori from the Suitengu intersection to Ningyocho intersection. You can walk many round trips while thinking about what to buy, eat and shop at a long-established store in Ningyocho Shopping Street, and enjoy all day long. After noon is crowded with quite a few people, so the time I recommend is morning or evening.

It can be found in many bargains such as Edo Kiriko, ceramics, vases, lacquer vessels and chopsticks. I think the reason why it is popular is that you can buy good things at a conscience price.

We recommend the corner where you can experience an electric potter's wheel that can be enjoyed by adults and children. There are people who teach me one by one, so even beginners like me can make something they like very much.

If you write a sending slip regardless of color, the work will be delivered to your house in a few weeks. It is unique to the cheapest city, which is about 1000 yen including mailing cost. Why don't you try shopping and try to create a work? It's so fun.

Next, I went to a visit to Ninben, which was not included in the original schedule.

Ninben

 It is a large store that has been in business since the Edo period since Genroku 12 (1699) to 310 years.

He is a senior managing director who was happy, smiling, and friendly to sudden visits.

On the basement floor, there are very valuable materials and ukiyo-e, such as the famous "Japan (even in the world) first gift certificate" and "No cash value", which tell the 3rd century of "Ninben". He explained it interesting but interestingly.

When the Satsuma and Choshu clan of late Tokugawa shogunate was active (), he forcibly came to borrow money and left a borrowed book ...

In addition, Shinpachi Nagakura of Shinsengumi came and asked the store to write a certificate stating that "I want you to borrow money" and put a borrowed book ... ... ...

In each case, it was very interesting to see if the money came back ... Akudoi and the story that really happened.

This is an ukiyo-e painting depicting a real restaurant in Nihonbashi, which is familiar with the story of "Momokawa" in rakugo. I'm embarrassed that my memory is not clear, but ... Kuniyoshi Utagawa's work ...

The story "Momokawa" is a restaurant that the Shogunate used for entertainment when he arrived at Perry in late Tokugawa shogunate, and was close to Ninben-san and near the current Fukutoku Inari Shrine.

The dishes include sashimi, Saikyo-yaki, cooking of ganmodoki and root vegetables, tempura, fried chicken of "Toyoda" specialty Shiba shrimp, etc. ... I imagined the strong taste of Edo-mae, but it was a delicious neat dish that was not light despite the Kansai style, with clear soup that worked everywhere.

Elementary school students worked hard on the stage to hit the Gojin Taiko and it was a small circle, but it seemed fun.
