Summer Festival in Nihonbashihamacho

[Mikazuki] July 29, 2009 17:00

Every year, I participated in a nearby summer festival held on the same day as the Sumida River fireworks. Chuo-ku is a city, but when it comes to festivals due to the Edo atmosphere, it is crowded with many people, from elderly people wearing yukata to children.happy01

When you purchase a cool-down fun ticket from the town council, you will have juice, takoyaki, oden, yakisoba, ice cream, Frankfurt, quoits, putter golf, and super bowl scooping. It is a very homey festival because neighbors bake yakisoba etc.

Even with this alone, there is a sense of value at 800 yen, but the lottery tournament is exciting every year. Two bicycles are annual, but this year there was also an eel meal ticket and a total of about 50 prizes. raffle was too busy with the joyful faces of the children who hit them, and the children who had a close number. I used to win 1 million yen in lotteries before, and the lottery is good, so I applied a fan at this festival three years ago, but this year all the three people who participated have been removed.coldsweats01

The Bon Odori after the raffle will soon make a big circle and cheer up just by watching the people who hit the drums well. Ama watermelon was distributed on the way, but I think it is unique to this neighborhood where there are many cheap and delicious greengrocers.

One of the attractions of Chuo-ku is that the festival in the neighborhood is lively, lively and fun.

Ningyocho Nosemono Market will be held from August 3 (Mon) to 5 (Wed)

[Mikazuki] July 29, 2009 09:00

The summer tradition, Setomono Market, will be held from August 3 (Mon) to 5 (Wed) from 9:00 to 20:00. The place is on both sidewalks of Ningyocho-dori from the Suitengu intersection to Ningyocho intersection. You can walk many round trips while thinking about what to buy, eat and shop at a long-established store in Ningyocho Shopping Street, and enjoy all day long. After noon is crowded with quite a few people, so the time I recommend is morning or evening.

It can be found in many bargains such as Edo Kiriko, ceramics, vases, lacquer vessels and chopsticks. I think the reason why it is popular is that you can buy good things at a conscience price.

We recommend the corner where you can experience an electric potter's wheel that can be enjoyed by adults and children. There are people who teach me one by one, so even beginners like me can make something they like very much.

If you write a sending slip regardless of color, the work will be delivered to your house in a few weeks. It is unique to the cheapest city, which is about 1000 yen including mailing cost. Why don't you try shopping and try to create a work? It's so fun.happy01

Participated in Nihonbashi Long-established Relay Tour (VOL.3)

[Satsuki Yanagi] July 21, 2009 12:00

This is a continuation from the long-established relay tour of Nihonbashi (VOL.2).

Next, I went to a visit to Ninben, which was not included in the original schedule.

cuteNinben

It is a large store that has been in business since the Edo period since Genroku 12 (1699) to 310 years.

He is a senior managing director who was happy, smiling, and friendly to sudden visitsdownwardleft.

shinise17.jpg

pcHP: http://www.ninben.co.jp/ Click on several places in the image of the store on the top page to see the inside of the store! )

On the basement floor, there are very valuable materials and ukiyo-e, such as the famous "Japan (even in the world) first gift certificate" and "No cash value", which tell the 3rd century of "Ninben". He explained it interesting but interestingly.

secretWhen the Satsuma and Choshu clan of earlate Tokugawa shogunate was active (),sign02 he forcibly came to borrow money and left a borrowed book ...

In addition, Shinpachi Nagakura of Shinsengumi came and asked the store to write a certificate stating that "I want you to borrow money" and put a borrowed book ... ... ...

In each case, it was very interesting to see if the money came back coldsweats02... Akudoi and the story that really happened.happy01

shinise18.jpgThis is an ukiyo-e painting depicting a real restaurant in Nihonbashi, which is familiar with the story of "Momokawa" in rakugo. I'm embarrassed that my memory is not clear, but ... Kuniyoshi Utagawa's work ...

secretThe story ear"Momokawa" is a restaurant that the Shogunate used for entertainment when he arrived at Perry in late Tokugawa shogunate, and was close to Ninben-san and near the current Fukutoku Inari Shrine.

Next is lunch at Kappo cuisine Toyoda, which I was really looking forward to.notes

cuteIt's Kappo cuisine.

shinise22.jpg  pchttp://gwill.co.jp/toyoda/index.html This is also a long-established store that has continued since Bunkyu 3 (1863). “Nihonbashi Tour” pcwebsite: http://www.ninben.co.jp/meguri/ Representative of Nihonbashi Producer Guide Haruki Kawasaki & 7 participants, a total ofheart02 eight people were invited to a guest room called "Autumn Leaves" with a dug kotatsu that is nice to shoewalk tired from the shoji door.shinise20.jpg shinise21.jpg Shortly after the meal was served, the fifth generation young husband who succeeds the fourth generation husband and holds the current kitchen knife: Mr. Toru Hashimoto came and explained it. secretAfter studying at another long-established Japanese restaurant, the earyoung husband entered his parents' home "Toyoda" and later served as the chef of the Japanese ambassador's residence in Germany. Also, as a specialty of young husbands, "Hamo cuisine" and "Edomae Anako white grilled" are always famous.diamond

"Toyoda" opened a sushi restaurant on the fish shore of Nihonbashi in 1863, and then set up a store in Honishi-cho and moved to its current location. cameraThe disciples are showing photos of the stores of "Toyoda Shokudo" and "Gravel Cooking" around 1897, and those who brought celebration when newly built in Honishi-cho in 1872 It is "Sawayama Mochigo Book" (← How to name the list is smartwink).

secretI don't know, earand "Toyoda" was also damaged bysign02 the Satsuma / Choshu clan in late Tokugawa shogunate, Shinsengumi, etc., and the borrowed letter was left, and it is unknown whether it was refunded ... sadIt was. Then, when I was operating at a stall on the Nihonbashi Fish Bank, a sushi restaurant, for example, asked for "bonito, grip,"sign01 and it seems that 6 sticks came out (currently there are many 2 sticks, 1 stick There is also a place).

The dishes include sashimi, Saikyo-yaki, cooking of ganmodoki and root vegetables, tempura, fried chicken of "Toyoda" specialty Shiba shrimp, etc. ... Iheart04 imagined the strong taste of Edo-mae, but it was a delicious neat dish that was not light despite the Kansai style, with clear soup that worked everywherehappy02shinise19.jpg

It was dissolved after the meal was over. This time, I participated for the first time, but I realized once again that the Nihonbashi area, which usually walks aroundshoe, really only the surface. It was a tour that was very interesting, fun, and valuable, listening to the stories of the shop people, showing things that you could not usually see. I wish I had more time ... I honestly thought.

Also, I was a participation by one person ... The other six of me were friends from Chiba, but weepI was really impressed that I was able to talk to me like a friend without separation and have fun together on that day Thank you very much to everyone who came together.

Finally, this "Nihonbashi Long-established Relay Tour" is very flairrecommended.happy01

July 12, 13, 14, Tsukishima Kusa City

[Yurikamome] July 15, 2009 09:30

I went to Tsukishima Kusa City, which is full of downtown atmosphere.

Stalls are lined up in the shopping street of Nishinaka-dori. In the past, they sold tray items such as horoku, ogara, and broom, but now they are shooting popcorn drawing cracker chocolate banana yakitori flash servber

Takoyaki yakisoba hanger light shaved ice beer wine, etc.

The broom was big and beautiful in a flower shop.

In the past, there was goldfish scooping, but now the children are scooping plastic things that change it.

I was doing Bon Odori at a corner of the site of the Eye Mark Tower.

Elementary school students worked hard on the stage to hit the Gojin Taiko and it was a small circle, but it seemed fun.

The girl's costume was also festive and cool.
