Ningyocho Shopping Street has a long history, and in 1908, a union organization called "Shoseikai" was formed ahead of the world, and based on the "always thanks, always rewarding" of the merchant soul inherited from the Edo era, Founded a union in 1956. The philosophy of the shopping street is that there is no prosperity without gathering people, and while preserving the culture and traditions of Edo so that many people can gather, they always think and implement new things. One of the reasons why the shopping district is lively is that the young organization is solid, and the Sansuikai was formed in 1974, and about 70 people are currently planning and executing events. At the age of 50, it seems that he will not be a member and will be a supporter, but since Edokko with a personality-in-law are playing a lot, many events such as Setono City, Tenten Festival and Ningyo Market will be exciting I think.

 

 Among the many long-established stores, Hatsune of the sweet shop has been running since the Edo period of Tempo 8 (1837), and as with the shop of Vice President Minamitani, there are many long-established stores in Meiji period that have been founded, and the kind hospitality and delicious taste that have been passed down from generation to generation, make it a nostalgic and relieved that you can never come. Ningyocho-dori, where the shopping street is located, was maintained last year, and the sidewalk expanded by 30 cm, making it a non-slip and easy-to-walk granite. 　Today, I visited Tornale Nihonbashihamacho Store Association.

Before the interview, I did a preliminary survey. The store association consists of Tomozu, Patisserie Isozaki, Dotor Coffee, Hassle Ramen, Docomo, TNK Project, and AS of Mediterranean cuisine creative restaurant.　

It has 10 members of the Italian restaurant Riana, Tornare Dental Clinic, and Peacock Store.

I've been talking to Mr. Kazuo Sawai.

 

　The Store Association was established in September 2005, and this year marks the 5th anniversary.

This year, we sponsor the Chuo-ku Tourism and Commerce Festival.

On September 22, the last summer heat of this year, we helped with the town walking tour “Nihonbashi Long-established Tour”.

In this course, we will visit three famous long-established stores, "Ninben", "Yamamoto-noriten", and "Eitaro Sohonten" to listen to the history of the store and the story behind the products. This time, I helped with my correspondent Ken. Ken is from Kyoto, but has a deep knowledge of the history and geography of Edo, and is good at speaking, so it is encouraging.

The first house is Mr. Ninben. In Genroku 12 (1699), it was the shop in Nihonbashi that began trading bonito and dried salts with doorboards lined up. The store, which has changed its appearance with the times, will be temporarily closed on October 21 for the development of the Higashi area of Nihonbashi Muromachi, and will start operating at coredo Muromachi on October 28.

The household miniature shrine inside the store makes you feel like a long-established style.

After that, enjoy shopping in the store. I was surprised that the soup I tasted was delicious. Moreover, I was surprised twice because I just stretched the white dashi in the bottle with hot water. Not only bonito flakes and dashi-related products, but also cooked rice ingredients are recommended.

 

The next one we headed was Mr. Yamamoto-noriten. Founded in 1849. The interior of the store has a large curved ceiling like the bottom of the ship, a wall reminiscent of a sail with a wind, a Shigaraki ware tiles that stylize the male cells of laver, and an image of a laver ship.

On September 17, when the refreshing autumn sky spread, Ginzo went to Riverside Autumn Festa, which was introduced in a blog post on September 14.

 

The event starts at 5 o'clock, but first we go at 4 o'clock and apply for a free water cruise. A line has already been formed, and 15 minutes later, half of the capacity (200 passengers each flight) ends.

It's also quite popular, helping with the best weather for cruising.

One hour to start. While the festival Japanese lantern was excited about the atmosphere, music performances and final preparations for the mock shop were busy here and there.

 

After walking for a while, the Tokyo Metropolitan Park Association and Waterside Division began free distribution of "charcoal and Hosenka flower seedlings on Miyakejima Island". Charcoal is a carbonized island tree that died in the 2000 Miyakejima Island volcanic eruption disaster for effective use, and it seems that the association has purchased it to help rebuild the island.
