[Marsha Horiuchi of Edo]

After a long time, I went to Ginza in the evening.
1) First of all, At the Ginza Brick Gallery in 4-chome (next to Kabukiza, next to You, famous for omelets). I've been watching the work of Eizo Kinoshita (Edo Ken 1st grade holder) who is an architect and writes Edo watercolors. How Edo Castle was built, what kind of place Kanda was at that time, etc. I looked at it with great interest. http://ginzarengagarou.com/exhibition/2016/eizo_kinoshita.php
2) And then 1-chome POLA MUSEUM ANNEX, "Celebration Sohoi", was used as a ukiyo-e of Edo. I thought about the ancient history of the pursuit of beauty, such as makeup tools. http://www.po-holdings.co.jp/m-annex/
3) Finally, it is Bulgari Ginza Tower in 2-chome. It's transformed into a city where other luxury brand stores gather.
On the way back, we went back with Kimuraya's Anpan. I'd like to eat slowly next time.

At the Noevia Ginza Gallery (Ginza 7-6-15 Noevia Ginza Headquarters Building 1F) facing Namiki-dori St., from January 12 (Tuesday), "Dedicated to Ken Domon-Kazuyoshi Miyoshi Photo Exhibition" Murouji Twelve Gods "is being held.
Miyoshi seems to have longed for Ken Domon since he was a junior high school student and aspired to become a photographer, and this time, Miyoshi challenged to shoot Muro-ji Temple, which Domon loved.
By the way, this gallery has also held a photo exhibition by Mr. Domon.
Muro-ji Temple is a temple of the Omotoyama of the Shingon sect Muro-ji school in Uda City, northeastern Nara Prefecture, and is also known as "Women Takano" because women were allowed to visit Kongo-buji Temple, which was forbidden for women.
In this exhibition, from Mr. Miyoshi's work on the theme of Muro-ji Temple, the 12 samurai gods "Twelve Gods", who protect Yakushi Nyorai, are exhibited.
The appearance of all 12 photos is impressive, and each expression is very realistic.
The exhibition period is until March 25 (Fri), and the opening time is from 10 am to 6 pm
Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays are until 5:00 p.m.
Thank you for your understanding of the photography at the gallery.

At Canon Digital House Ginza, a personal showroom in Canon located on the first floor of the Torrance Ginza Building in Ginza 3-chome, a service that takes profile pictures is currently being offered.
The period is from Friday, January 15 to February 29 (Mon), and during the opening period, you can take pictures at any time without reservation.
The showroom staff will use Canon's telephoto zoom lens to shoot your "one of the miracles" for free.
It seems that shooting is one pattern at a time, and the shooting time is about 10 minutes.
However, it is said that those who have a smartphone can take it, and the profile photos taken will be transferred to their smartphone via Wi-Fi.
(It is necessary to download and install (free) the smartphone-only application "Camera Connect" in advance.)
I haven't been there yet, but I'd like to find time and take a picture.
If you come to Ginza, it would be interesting to stop by.
This museum is open from Monday to Saturday, from 10:30 to 18:30.
Sunday, public holidays, and the company's holidays are closed.

Currently, the "2015 Asahi Camera Award Winner Exhibition" is being held at Canon Gallery Ginza in Ginza 3-chome.
"Asahi Camera" was launched in 1926. From the monthly contest with a history of about 90 years, the award-winning works of the Asahi Camera Award, which are awarded to applicants who have achieved excellent results throughout the year, are exhibited.
In 2015, there were about 40,000 entries () in four categories: "Color Print", "Monochrome Print", "Gumi Photo", and "First Step", and among them, amateurs selected 42 works of the highest standard are on display.
Both color and black and white are all wonderful works that I long for if I could take such a picture.
The exhibition period is from Thursday, January 14 to 20 (Wed).
Opening hours are from 10:30 to 18:30, and Sunday is closed.
