Nihonbashi Library, the long-awaited complete renewal soon!

[Shiba Inu] March 23, 2017 12:00

Nihonbashi Library is located in Nihonbashi Ningyocho.

This is the place where Saigo Takamori lived for about two years in the Meiji period. Currently Nihonbashi Elementary School, a pool that can be used by the general public underground, a municipal library on the upper floor, and a Bon Dance Festival is held in the schoolyard in summer!...It is also a popular spot in the neighborhood.

Nihonbashi Library, which is on the upper floor, has been undergoing renewal work for a long time since last year, but on March 1, the 7th floor finally opens! It was very beautiful, spacious, and easy to use.

IMG_1815.JPGThe passage is wide. Wheelchairs, strollers, those who have a lot of luggage and cane cane at ease.

IMG_1817.JPG

There are plenty of seats available. I think I can concentrate on myself. The chair was comfortable to sit down!

IMG_1818.JPGThere is also such a cute seat.

The local reference room I was looking forward to is also very fulfilling!

IMG_1819.JPGIn the room, not only materials but also dedicated reading seats (the desk is wide!) That's enough.

The Nihonbashi Library has a lot of local materials. Even the catalogs of small exhibitions and personal record books, "I don't know....It is one of the libraries that have a high probability of finding materials that you gave up. I think there are elements that can be enjoyed by local people, sightseeing, and students.

The magazine corner is also full. There were a lot of women's magazines.

IMG_1821.JPG

I think it's wonderful that there are places to sit here and there.

The toilet was of course barrier-free, and it was spacious and very beautiful. It's an important thing....!If the library toilets are old, narrow and dirty, fear doubles....

The 6th floor, which is still under construction, will be a children's corner and a reading room. Complete opening is 4/1 (Sat)! I'm looking forward to it.

Opposite the library, there is also a Western confectionery shop "Surky", which is famous for cream puffs that are so popular that they line up. In addition, there are fashionable flower shops, delicious shops, good luck and Koami Shrine, so it is a very fun zone. On April 8th, there is also a flower festival at Daikanonji Temple.

Please come to Ningyocho this spring, when the Nihonbashi Library will be renewed. It's perfect for a resting place with children.

[Chuo-ku to enjoy with children] #14: Growth Link Kachidoki (Kachidoki 1-chome)

[Dye] March 22, 2017 12:00

3 years after raising children in Chuo-ku (correspondents are 3 years!) It's gone.
In my daily life, there are many things I have to do alone and the pressure is great.
What I always think is that Chuo-ku has a lot of local support.
It is a government, a service such as a shop, a kindness of the people of the city, etc.
There are various shapes, but I'm really grateful for your help so far.

This time, I would like to introduce "Growth Link Kachidoki" which is one of such thankful support.

"Growth Link Kachidoki" is a child-rearing support facility with the concept of creating a community where child-rearing can be shared throughout society.

It seems that there are lessons and rental gardens here, but the other day I used the "Play Hall", so I used it.
I would like to introduce you to you.

To use the play hall, you must first become a member.☆
Apply for registration on the Web in advance, pay the registration fee of 1500 at the office within one month to complete the procedure.
I'll receive your membership card. (Note that if you do not apply in advance for the Web, it will be 2000 yen!)
Once registered, you can play from the age of 0 to the second grade of elementary school without renewal fees or annual membership fees.

s40_01.jpg
There is also a nursing room and a diaper changing space.

The play hall is a huge rope jungle gym (3 stories!) in the middle of the room. Yes, there is.
The space, picture book corner, and hot carpet are warm for high-hi babies to enjoy with peace of mind.
There is a building block play zone.

s40_04.jpg s40_05.jpg

s40_11.jpg

In the book corner, there are also interesting books for adults along with picture books, so parents can relax.

s40_06.jpg
When I was sitting on this chair, other children came in and talked about what kind of ideas they were playing.

s40_08.jpg s40_02.jpg

The third floor part where the children said "heaven." I will go up and down the slope.

The rope jungle gym is safe for adults to ride.
...But honestly, on the third floor, I was scared and stuck to the net and couldn't move (laughs).
Then the girl said, "I'm 5 years old, so I'm fine! But when I was three years old, I was caught in this way."
Encourage me...(^^;) Mr. Chibi in my home quickly became accustomed to seeing the other children.
The children were jumping in time.

What seemed interesting was the hammock of the net. It seems to calm down when you put it in. ^^

s40_09.jpg s40_10.jpg

Chibi of my home tried to enter the hammock with a child around him, but
I think I was a little scared. But at first I was going to see the situation.
The tunnel was quickly overcoming it and crossed it.
The pipe-shaped slide extending from the second floor was also dashingly slipping.

s40_07.jpg s40_03.jpg
Children are learning from children. And it's really fast growing.

In addition, the facility is used by parents, but the staff is also watching.
There are situations where they are careful if they are doing dangerous things, and they are facing their children properly.
I'm relieved. It's really the role of a parent, but there are times when I can't take it honestly, so please get involved.
It's very helpful. I think this is just an example of how "solitary care" has been resolved.

Small interactions with other children and adults are good for both children and parents.

Not only the play hall introduced this time, but also for the outside Jabujabu Pond and the like.
I'd like to see you again.
It is recommended not only for those with children outside the city, but also for those with children outside the city.

Play and learn at the Chuo-ku Tourist Information Center Edgran

[Silver] March 16, 2017 14:00

The Chuo-ku Tourist Information Center opened in Kyobashi Edgran in November 2016, and it has been four months since it opened.

Today, I studied at "Chuo-ku Virtual Map OVERVIEW" installed at the Chuo-ku Tourist Information Center on the first basement floor.

Looking at the current location and old maps of the Edo period, what happened here in the past? I can study such things.

The woman in charge was kind and taught me how to operate it.

1489559130156.jpg
Using the steering wheel, I freely operated the map on the large screen and searched for tourist attractions as if I were walking in the air. I was able to see the streets of Nihonbashi Muromachi using "Kidai Shoran".

1489559147179.jpg

"I can do it!" "Please look at the picture of the evidence that you are operating happily."

During shopping and walking in Chuo-ku, please drop in and enjoy. It is also ideal for studying for children such as elementary school students.

In the Chuo-ku Tourist Information Center, you can get a map of not only Chuo-ku but also nearby, and you can also buy small items such as Chuo-ku original Tenugui. Please use it as a small souvenir.

It's like a cafe with counter seats and stands.

The place was like a cafe with counter seats and standing tables.

IMG_1604.jpg

You can drink it lightly with your knob at night. Convenient! (Convenient!)

Maybe, if you visit the place after dark, you can enjoy some drinks and refreshments. How convenient!
