No. 1 Yoshinoya store in Tsukiji

[Mr.Chuo-ku] December 19, 2014 15:00

Founded in 1899, Yoshinoya's founding store (the first store) is located in the central wholesale market food in Tsukiji, Chuo-ku, with approximately 1,800 stores in Japan and overseas as the largest beef bowl chain.

①Company name is Yoshinoya Co., Ltd. (English name: YOSHINOYA CO., LTD.)
※The character of Yoshi is correctly "soil" and "mouth".

②Founded in Nihonbashi Fish Bank, Chuo-ku

③The menu at the first store is only beef bowl, beef plate, and familiar side dishes such as miso soup and egg.

(1 company name, 2 photos, and 3 menu are excerpted from the official website.)

The following is a story I've heard.

The meat used at this first store is Japanese beef. Onion is also fresh and soft, and here Tsukiji is a place where "fresh ingredients" and "food professionals" gather, and you are also particular about beef bowls.
Also, at the time of ordering, options such as `` Negidaku '' and `` Tsuyudaku '' are all Yoshinoya, but at the first store, the degree varies depending on how many times you say `` dakudakudaku '' such as `` Negidakudaku '' and `` Tsuyudakudaku '' It seems to be. In addition, there are also "tsumeshiro (cold rice)" and "torodaku (a lot of meat fat)". The Tsukiji store, which was founded on the fish shore as Yoshinoya, seems to have special attention and has changed its stance from other stores.

Address: 5-2-1 Tsukiji, Chuo-ku, Tokyo Central Wholesale Market Food C

Business hours From 5:00 to 13:00

Regular holidays: In accordance with the Tsukiji Market

Miyake family ★Tama-no-tamameshi (baked bean paste)

[Mapo ★] December 19, 2014 09:00

This is also the shop that was listed on the lunch passport book.

The Miyake family is located on the second floor of the Ginza AZA Building on the back street of Ginza Matsuya.
I went to eat "Tama no Ontamameshi" here.

I didn't think about anything, but to the staff
"It's rare today! It's always sold out quickly."

Later, when I looked at the book, it was limited to 10 meals a day! ! Lucky (* ^^*)
It seems to be a shop produced by Tomoko Miyake, the original queen of eating.
The rice was a bit like a millet, and it was healthy♪
Anako is also savory and delicious★
It also comes with salad and miso soup.

By the way, the shop was smokeable and it was a bit disappointing.
The shop itself is a very homey space where you can relax!

Hawaiian restaurant at KIRARITO GINZA

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] December 17, 2014 09:00

The Hawaiian restaurant Eggs'n Things is located on the 4th floor of the brand-new commercial building KIRARITO GINZA facing Ginza 1-chome and Chuo-dori.

eggsn1.JPG

Based on the concept of "All Day Breakfast", it seems popular because you can enjoy the breakfast menu all day long, so I went there.

eggsn2.JPG

On the way home from the company, the shop was still vacant, and a friend who had given up waiting for 2 hours at Shonan Enoshima store was impressed by the fact that he was able to sit immediately (however, At around 8 o'clock when we left the store, it was full, and another 4,5 pairs were waiting.)

The interior of the store has a calm atmosphere, especially the sofa seats are spacious.

I ordered garlic shrimp, potato bacon cheese omelet, holiday silver duster pancake (upper photo), fruit pancake sampler (lower photo)

eggsn4.JPG

The pancake has a 15cm-high whipped cream.

Contrary to the appearance, whipped cream is refreshing, light and not staggered. The pancake itself is not too sweet and has a good balance with fruits. White wine also goes well.

eggsn3.JPG

I went for pancakes, but both garlic shrimp and omelet were delicious.

After 17 o'clock, there is also a loco food and dinner menu, and alcohol is available from various cocktails to tropical wine, so I think it can be used widely.

The Ginza store, the third store in Tokyo, has terrace seats overlooking Chuo-dori, so if the season improves, the time on the terrace seats will be the best (although I think it will be crowded).

Showa retro Western-style restaurant "Momoi-sha"

[Mido] December 8, 2014 14:00

The peach bar in Kayabacho is a former milk hall Western restaurant founded in 1889.
The current building is built in 1933, and it is a shop with a truly Showa retro feeling.
The location is very close to the Tokyo Stock Exchange, from the Kakigaracho intersection to Nihonbashi.
I went north to the first alley to the left.

It's not just a long-established Western restaurant, but the biggest selling-point of this restaurant is its cheapness.
You can eat a set meal at around 500 yen in the business district.
As you can see in the picture, for example, cutlet curry 550 yen, spaghetti
470 yen, hamburger rice 500 yen ...
Not only is it cheap, but the taste also has a strange nostalgic taste than the average.

If there is such a shop in the business district, it will not be vacancies.
Even if you go, it is full (1 floor in the store, there are about 10 tables for 4 people)
I think it's better to visit after 2 o'clock.
But please be careful because the store is closed at 4:30.
(Open hours from 11:00 to 16:30)

Also, the Showa retro feeling of this shop is wonderful. For example, recently
"Tangular folded paper napkins" that are no longer seen.
It's retro to pipe chairs, tables, and the paintings decorated.
Add 20 yen to chicken cutlet, shrimp fried, menchikatsu, etc.
It's also a great deal of spaghetti.
It's like Showa. (^O^)/

I dare to say that smoking is OK.
I was in trouble with the purple smoke attack of the other party, but this is also a Showa-like one.
Shall we decide?
I couldn't see the kitchen, but perhaps the elderly were cooked.
I wondered if I had it. For a long time in this area
I wanted you to be open in this style.

Lunch at Ginza Mikita ★Italian Restaurant Week

[Mapo ★] 18:00 on December 5, 2014

This year's Italian Restaurant Week, the second article is Ginza Mikita!

It's on the second floor around 6-chome on Nishi Ginza Street.
The chef is Kitami, who has also appeared several times in cooking ironmen.

The interior of the store is sophisticated and impressive with orange lunch mats.
I think there are 3 private rooms.

KIMG0341.JPG KIMG0343.JPG

The appetizer is Mali Ne of Inada.

I've been able to eat various kinds of raw fish recently.

This was quite hard for me who was not good at raw fish ...

There are two types, cold pasta and hot pasta, and the cold one is La France pasta.
In particular, this orange-flavored carbonara is exquisite.★

Carbo, which tends to be persistent with cheese, is refreshing with orange acidity (* ^^ *).
