Fifteen Nights (On Sumida River Terrace)

[TAKK...] September 30, 2015 16:00

The fifteenth night of 2015 was September 27 (Sun).

It's also called the mid-autumn moon and the potato moon.

In fact, the fifteenth night is September 27, but the full moon is September 28.

It doesn't seem that fifteen nights are always full.

DSC01465RSG.jpg This year, September 27 is the 15th of August in old calendar.

During this season, the moon rises at an angle suitable to look up in the clear night sky, and it is considered the best season for moon viewing, but typhoons often hit and fronts stagnate near the Japanese Islands It does not necessarily seem to be blessed with good weather in a wide area.

Fortunately, this time, we sometimes hiding in the clouds, but we were able to fully enjoy the beautiful moon.

"Fifteen nights" means "the 15th night when the New Moon Day is the first day", but in fact, since the cycle of the phases of the moon is not exactly one month, subtle differences depending on the year occur, "Mid-Autumn Moon" is not necessarily a full moon, and in this year, the next day is the full moon.

But it looks like a very bright moon, almost round.

This year, the 28th of the following day is the "Super Moon" day, where the moon turning around the earth in an elliptical orbit becomes the full moon at the time closest to the earth in the year.

You can enjoy a special month for 2 consecutive days.

By the way, the Super Moon on the 28th looks about 14% larger in diameter than the smallest full moon this year (March 6), and the brightness is about 30% higher.

It is said that Heian nobles enjoyed the moon reflected in cups and ponds, rather than looking directly at the moon.

Photo Gallery of Urban Landscape in Ginza

[De Niro] September 30, 2015 09:00

Former site of Matsuzakaya Ginza 6-chome Ginza, Chuo-ku

On the sidewalk of Ginza 6-chome, Chuo-dori, there is a very important point in terms of "Chuo-ku Tourism Certification", "Choro-ku Training Center Monument".

As you know, the Commercial Code Training Institute was opened by Arinori Mori as a private school in 1875, as described on page 46 of the Chuo-ku Monoshiri Encyclopedia, and was later established as Hitotsubashi University. .

↑ I'm going to take the exam!

The reception will start soon.

This area, where Matsuzakaya was located until last year, is currently under construction for redevelopment. The atmosphere of the construction site, which has been murderous forever, has become a good spot for sightseeing, but it is a white fence temporarily surrounding the area between Miyuki Street and Kojunsha Street, You noticed that creative and fashionable photos are printed.

Even when Matsuzakaya was demolished, Hiroshige's ukiyo-e etc. were laid out, and it was just like a gallery-like structure that delighted pedestrians.

On display from this year (?) The photo group in this group is a work of up-and-coming photographer named Naoki Honjo, with about 40 works taken from a panoramic perspective of landmarks in central Tokyo lined up.

Naoki Honjo Photo 1
At first glance, it looks and feels like a miniature model, but it is an actual landscape shot with a large format camera using a unique technique called Aori.

A novel style with the theme of urban landscapes is attracting attention.

Some of recent digital cameras have a mode that allows you to take a miniature-like photo, and Naoki Honjo was the spark of this "miniature-style photo" boom, which was popular for a while.

Tourist attractions such as the Imperial Palace, Tokyo Tower, and Wako Building in Ginza are also located everywhere, and where is it? Isn't it a pleasure to take a stroll around the corner of 6-chome under the autumn sky of art?

It is scheduled to be reborn as a commercial facility similar to Midtown in November 2016.

Kibana cosmos flowering [Hamarikyu Garden]

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] September 22, 2015 09:00

At the Hamarikyu Garden, Kibana cosmos is currently blooming orange flowers.

hamar11.JPG

The plant height is lower than the cosmos that bloom in autumn, and blooms early. At the end of Kibana Cosmos, the flower garden is dyed with pink cosmos.

hamar12.JPG

There is also a bright red red spider lily here and there in the garden.

Originally native to southern China, it seems to be a historical naturalized plant that came from China in the old age.

Hagi is also one of the seven herbs in autumn during flowering and is a flower familiar to Japanese people.

At the start of Silver Week, the garden was crowded with people who came to see the autumn flowers.

What day is today? Kirin's day!

[Yuyama also only] September 22, 2015 09:00

Blessed with good weather for the first time in a long time, I participated in a tour of "Chuo-ku's boat cruise and Nihonbashi Long-established Tour" from Nihonbashi Pier.

The lion of Nihonbashi is the guardian of the capital Tokyo. There are four north-south corners and pillars in the middle of the two arches, a lion head of 4 × 6 and a bridge, respectively.

So how many lions are there? Lion = 16!

The correct answer is 32. 1442704354189.jpg And in the center of the balustrade of the bridge, Kirin has two wings and two branched corners. He said he hoped for a great leap in Tokyo. It's a wonderful figure.

The cruise has begun. Scent of river wind and tide in pleasant ship shaking.

Well, what is the illusion of the eyes?

Large giraffes in Tsukishima's warehouses

It seems to be a cafe that uses a warehouse. Let's go out next time by train with a little child.

It doesn't work, but it's as big as the real thing. 2 corners

When I looked at the real giraffe at the zoo, I remembered that there were two or three corners and the stripes were different one by one. They actually have five horns

The trace of the fun cruising goes around the long-established store, after tasting and shopping, and says, "Today the distance is long but I do not walk 10,000 steps a day."

Well, at the corner of Yaesu Street

This is the crown giraffe as you all know. The crown shines at night.

The number of steps taken at home today is 10,506 steps.

There was a single corner of Kirin in the refrigerator.

It was a fun day.1442702282454.jpg

Ginza street gallery in 2015

During shopping in Ginza, I sometimes encounter various objects.

The angelic statue of Tenshodo is famous, but it is famous

Recently, I think the picture of a girl peeking into the Washington shoe store in Ginza 5-chome is excellent.

What does the girl think and what does she see?

"A nice high heel. I also want it, but is it a little too early?" Are you looking into the store?

And "Ginza Koi Colin" is located on both sides of the San-Ai Building.

May you have a good relationship! So as not to make a mistake in the male and female

uniqlo Bldg. shining brightly at night  A mannequin doll.

It is also popular among people from all over the world because it rotates in the same way.

In the corner of Ginza, there are still many sculptures and small windows on the walls of Wako, Shiseido, and Tiffany are also fun.

Please enjoy these exhibits before and after shopping and meals.
