Edo's Funatogo and Mizuchinsai Restoration

[Sam] 14:00 on June 10, 2018

P6081300ELS'.jpgDSC06561RS'G.jpg On the 8th, at the Tsukiji Shishi Festival, the main festival once every three years of Tsukiji Namiki Inari Shrine, the "Funa imperial procession" with Miya portable shrine on a boat, which had been discontinued during the Edo period, and the "Suichin Festival" which was held in accordance with it revived.

This is a special production of the 30th anniversary celebration of the Emperor's throne, and a milestone year before the relocation of Tsukiji Market to Toyosu in October.

After the last kneading walk in the market, it was carried to the quay, loaded on a boat with a crane, and crossed the Sumida River with the townspeople. While a large number of spectators watched, they returned near the Akashicho Disaster Prevention Shipyard, stopped near Kachidokibashi, and went to the resting place of portable shrines, which was set up beside the entrance to Ote-mon gate in Hamarikyu Onshi Garden. A new departure ale on the fish shore, which has a history of nearly a century at Tsukiji, was very exciting.

The 9th is the imperial procession Festival. The tour of Miya portable shrine, the Great Ceiling Lion, and the Benzaiten teeth black lion is scheduled.

The small observation space on the 46th floor of the DENTSU Head Office Building has an excellent view of the sea side.

In fact, it was a special place, and on this day, many pairs of tourists from overseas visited.

From here, you can see many famous places in Chuo-ku. Tsukiji Market, Tsukiji Ohashi, Hamarikyu Onshi Garden, Harumi...And so on.

The best time to see Japanese iris

[Sam] 12:00 on June 5, 2018

DSC06466ELSR'.jpg

DSC06464RS'G.jpg Japanese iris is at its best to hear that about 1,000 plants are planted in three places near the Hanagien Garden of Hamarikyu Onshi Garden, the site of Nobu Liaokan, and the gate of Nakano.

It is a perennial plant in the family Amberaceae, and is one of the Japanese classical gardening plants that have been crossed, improved, and many varieties have been produced based on wild Nohanashobu. It is often confused with the taro family shobu, but Japanese iris is also described as iris flower and shobu is also described as iris grass.

In general, in addition to the Naga Igo species that retains the characteristics of ancestor, it is broadly divided into Edo, Ise, and Higo, and the flower color is abundant in white, light red, purple, blue, and yellow. There are various ways of entering shades and patterns suchdouble-flowered and lion blooms.

The elegant flower appearance and moist atmosphere are attractive.

2018 Hydrangea Garden in Early Summer

[Sam] 12:00 on June 4, 2018

DSC06487RELS'.jpg

DSC06469RS'G.jpg For eight days from June 1st to 8th, Fancl Ginza Square (Ginza 5) will open the "Royal Room" with a terrace on the 10th floor to the public, and the "Early Summer Hydrangea Garden" is being held. (11:30~18:30)

This is one of the "seasonal garden events" held eight times a year, and this time, it produces a hydrangea scenery that blooms unrecognized deep in the mountains and is filled with mysterious beauty.

A popular new variety, blue ornamental flower with a white line around the central bisexual flower, has a refreshing impression and cool "galaxy" (left image), pink and blue in the middle of the petals, and white in the edges, and gorgeous "Kaleidoscope", "KEIKO", "Fairy Eye", "Mary", "Shiun Red", "White Kotobuki Red", "Red Beauty", etc.

During the period, various events such as "Garden Photo Session" and "Gardening Mini Lessons (Ajisai Herbarium)" are also planned.

The sidewalk in Chuo-ku is interesting! 10 [Tsukuda 1.2-chome]

[Minatokko-chan] 14:00 on June 3, 2018

Hello, my name is Minato-chan.

Today, I would like to walk Tsukuda 1-chome and 2-chome.

♪ Beautiful sidewalks of Tsukuda Island

The sidewalk of Tsukuda Island is very beautiful.

Not only "Tsukuda Nakadori" and "Tsukuda Odori", but also small sidewalks and casual places are well paved.
Among them, what I like most is the wide colorful sidewalk that will greet you when you cross the Tsukuda-ohashi Bridge and go down to Tsukuda 1-chome side.

tukuhodo2.JPG

There is a snail mark on the sidewalk that crosses Tsukuda Kobashi.

It is a course of "History and Culture Walk".

tukuhodo.JPG

On the way of the promenade leading to the lighthouse ruins, I found a sign at my feet.

In the picture, Ishikawajima Lighthouse is drawn, and there are many fishing boats.

You're caught something in the cave. It looks like a crab.

♪ A variety of pavements for Tsukuda 1.2-chome
tuk01mm.jpg

1.When repaving the pavement due to aging and construction, consideration has been taken to protect the original color and pattern of assembly. New pavement and old pavement make contrast
2.At the point where the sidewalk intersects, different types of pavements come out.
3. It's a trio with different types of pavement and newly laid parts.

On Tsukuda Island, I was able to find a lot of interesting sidewalks.
