Birds of the Kamejima River

[TAKK...] January 31, 2019 14:00

In the early morning of winter, grey heron and others gather near Shin-Kamejima Bridge.

I01.jpg

Shin Kameshima Bridge began in March 1882 with a wooden bridge with a length of 15 (approximately 27m) and a width of 3 (approximately 5.4m).

I02.jpg

In March 1926, the bridge was replaced as a modern steel girder bridge by the reconstruction project following the Great Kanto Earthquake (1923), and the width was nearly tripled to 15m.

Tsukiji Out-of-site, year-end purchase 2019

[Shiba Inu] January 29, 2019 14:00

It is a topic that has just changed the year and is too early, but it is an introduction of the end-of-year purchase at Tsukiji Outer Market. It seems that there are many people who want to go but do not understand well, so it is easy, but we will deliver the situation of the site and how to enjoy it.

The date is 12/30. There are plenty of items on sale, from seafood, meat, seaweed, roast beef, kejan and chestnut kinton, a restaurant purveyor to daily necessities. Each store opens around 5 o'clock in the morning, so you can move quickly if you go out of the hall just before and grab the intuition of each street while wandering around. The actual outside is not so big. There are a lot of shops there.

P1030141.png

It is very crowded after the sun rises, so we recommend the time from early morning to sunrise. You don't have to worry about selling out. Also, there is a mysterious uplift that a large number of people are on the market during this time. It's fun to come to Yokai's night market. There is a parking lot, but it's congested, so it might be better to leave to get there early or ask a driver.

P1030152.png

In addition to the purchase, there are also pleasures of eat-in. There are a wide variety of things such as Kuansu sushi and ramen at dawn. The complex Tsukiji Fish Bank Restaurant Floor is open at 7:00 in the morning. There is also a delicious shop here!

P1030174.png

Every egg-yaki shop is a large line of prosperity, but there are shops that can be bought early in the morning even if you don't make a reservation. It takes about 10 to 20 minutes to line up. As expected, the shop is also quick! The 100 yen egg skewers are sold normally.

P1030177.png

At present, the hall is completely closed and cannot be entered. Until last year, I was free to enter and exit, and I was able to see the sunrise rising to Tokyo Bay from the hall.

P1030135.png

It is not recommended for those who are not good at crowded places because there are many crowds, but if you go early, you can enjoy watching around without stress. After shopping, I think it would be refreshing to go home after watching the sunrise rising at Namiki Inari Shrine, Kachidokibashi, Tsukiji Honganji, etc.

As mentioned above, it was a simple and rush, but it was an introduction of the year-end purchase at Tsukiji Outer Market. Please come and visit us at the end of 2019. It's fun!

The achievement of consecutive victories since the first championship of the four major tournaments has been the first feat since Jennifer Caprity in 2001.

In the world ranking after the tournament, we ranked first in Asia in singles through men and women.

At the award ceremony, it was impressive to celebrate Kubitoba with a calm smile.

Current status of Shinba Bridge and restoration work

[rosemary sea] January 28, 2019 12:00

It's upmary sea. After over 300 articles, I will write an article with a different taste for the first time.

Shinbabashi (Shinbabashi)

The bridge over the Metropolitan Expressway, which connects Nihonbashi 2-chome on the east and west of Showa-dori, and the southeast to Sakamoto Elementary School in Nihonbashikabutocho (currently under renovation).

IMG_20181227_130615 (2)a.jpg

The capital city was originally a rugged river called Momijigawa. It is the capital city height that has been reclaimed.

Shinbabashi is a bridge between Chiyodabashi and Kuyasubashi.

However, since the adjacent Chiyodabashi is a bridge under the capital height, the Shinbabashi Bridge is the last bridge that goes out above ground and the first bridge that goes underground, such a stance.

Currently, this Shinba Bridge is still closed to vehicles.

IMG_20181227_130617 (2)a.jpg

A part of a car that passed through the Metropolitan Expressway last summer and a part of the car that violated the height limit hit this Shinba Bridge, damaging the bridge girder.

It's been closed since then.

Pedestrians and bicycles can pass through.

In the restoration work plan, inspection, investigation, and new design are completed, and construction is started.

It seems that there is a delay, but I think the construction period will be announced soon.

I am very concerned about this bridge, which is close to Rosmari's workplace.

It's a modest, but it has a good red color. Please enjoy it when shopping or taking a walk in Ginza.

Visit Ginza Inari Shrine

[The Rabbit of Tsukuda] January 26, 2019 18:00

The other day, fortunately, I was able to visit Ginza Inari Shrine, which is usually closed to the public. I hope everyone will see the state of the shrine.

Ginza Inari Shrine has been worshiping as a Inari in Ginza since the Edo period, as it can be found in the Chuo-ku Monoshiri Encyclopedia, and thriving business. Currently, due to the progress of land development, it is enshrined on the roof of the Ginza Echigoya Building in Ginza 2-chome. You cannot visit the rooftop at stamp rally around Ginza Hatcho Shrine in AUTUMN GINZA, which is held from late October to early November.

Ginza Inari 1.jpg Only Inari was quietly seated on the rooftop.

Ginza Inari 2.jpg You can see the passage of time in the stone structure.

Ginza Inari 3.jpgThe fox on the left is a fox, and the fox on the right is a jewel.

The street where Inari-san was in the Edo period was called "Kanze Shindo", and there was a Noh Kanze-style mansion. Looking at the map of the late Edo period, it is specially written in inari and red. In everyday life, he would have joined hands on the street. It was a valuable experience to imagine the feelings of the people of Edo on a small lovely fox.
