From the “Health and Welfare Festival”, tour the “birthplace”

[Kenken] October 28, 2014 09:00

On Sunday, October 26, "Chuo-ku Health and Welfare Festival 2014" was held at Akatsuki Park, the surrounding Chuo-ku Public Health Center, Time Dome Akashi, etc.

Actually, my wife was taking a dog from my home, so I went to see it when it was cool (laughs).

Many groups participated in various elaborate ways, and on the outdoor stage in the park, various performances were shown, and I think it was quite exciting.

Kyosei Suishinin.JPGfukushi matsuri.JPGHowever, I myself get rid of it as soon as possible and walk around a little.

What is particularly noticeable here is that there are many "birthplaces" of various schools.

At that time, more Christianity-based schools were established in Tsukiji Foreign Settlements by foreigners.

For example, on the premises of St. Luke's College of Nursing next to Akatsuki Park, there are monuments of Rikkyo Gakuin and Women's Academy's Birthplace.

Rikkyo Gakuin 2.jpgJoshigakuin.JPGThe birthplace of Keio Gijuku is also around here.

Keio Hassho.JPGIn addition, there are still famous and prestigious schools that originated in this area, such as Aoyama Gakuin and Meiji Gakuin.

Why don't you visit the map with one hand?

Events in the Nihonbashi area

[whatever] October 22, 2014 09:00

In October, events in the Nihonbashi area will not be able to go to all, but we will introduce two events that we have participated and visited to date.

The "1st Ningyocho Neighborhood Sake Walking" was held in Ningyocho on the 11th. Drink sake from 13 breweries from all over the country at participating restaurants in the neighborhood of Ningyocho (handi sake)! It's an event. I joined with two friends who helped me.
Participation fee is 2000 yen for advance sale and 2500 yen for the day. We purchased the advance sale.

First of all, we accept at Shinkawaya Sasaki Hotel in amazake Yokocho. It was just around 14:00 when the reception started, but it was already a long line! It seems that more than 1,000 people participated! We will finish the reception safely and receive a wristband and a sake set. Inoguchi with a wonderful design.

Well, I'll have it right away. At the Sasaki liquor store, several kinds of sake were lined up. Do you like daiginjo in Niigata? My friends seem to have been concerned about Miyagi's hiyashi.
I almost started drinking seriously from the first house (all-you-can-drink!) There is still a long way to go to the next shop. To the same line, "Aoi". I thought it was unique to this event that I could enter a shop that I wouldn't normally enter alone. The appetizers were also prepared here (charged). I forgot to take a picture because it was so delicious and fun that I felt early, but I'm really happy that all of them, such as tidbits's three kinds of varieties and homemade salted salt.
kikiaruki2.jpgkikiaruki3.JPGkikiaruki4.JPG
Every shop is likely to stay long, but one after another! And move with a staggered foot. For the time being, I went around the map I received at the reception in one hand, but even if I could only go around 6 houses, I will enter `` Kikuya Nare '' that I think that I will not use on my own in the future It was a valuable experience to have a spaghetti.kikiaruki map.JPG
Well, how much I drank ... I don't know at all, but I drank quite a bit. However, it is really a great deal to be able to drink only for 2,000 yen. I hope it will be held next year.

Well, next is "Betara City". Many people came this year (October 19-20). The annual Bon Odori in front of Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation along Ningyocho-dori. Many people also participated here.
What I'm looking forward to in Bettara City is the stall of "Edoya". Not all products, but some of Edoya's products can be purchased at a special price. Actually, two years ago, I was buying a horse hair toothbrush in Betara City. I usually use an electric toothbrush, so I didn't use it until recently, but when I tried it, I realized that my teeth became smooth! That's why I bought it again this year (300 yen). I recommend it because it's firm. Plus, this year, I bought it for iron pots (600 yen).bettara edoya.jpegbettara1.jpeg
And I also purchased "Umekatei", which was previously introduced on Tachibana's blog. I'm looking forward to it. Chestnuts are crunchy and have a good response to eating.
bettara2.jpeg

And the most important thing is to taste the pickles exclusively. You can buy it all year round
Then we went to see the big Japanese lantern of Takarada Ebisu Shrine and the Japanese lantern of Kabuki actor over the torii gate. Just look at it.

On October 25 (Saturday), the 7th Happy Halloween 2014 will be held. This is the last event in October. Children up to the sixth grade of elementary school can participate.

I went to "Bettara City"

1. October 21, 2014 14:00

There are one or two places where everyone says, "I'm worried about it all the time, but the timing is bad ...." For me, this "Betara City" was one of them. I wish I could finally go to the 19th of today, the first day.

100_1482.JPGI was quite excited since I got off at Kodemmacho Station. You can see the sign and the person in charge of happi coat at Exit 3. As soon as you turn left along the guide street, the entrance of the city. Look at the stalls and the offering Kirisansho shop sideways and first visit Hoda Ebisu Shrine. This street is lined with Betazuke shops. The voice of calling a plate for tasting in one hand also excites the "festival" feeling.

100_1489.JPG

You can also see the names of Tamasaburo and Kikugoro in the dedication Japanese lantern.
Oh! There's also a rakugo storyteller. There is also a traditional portable shrine in Temmacho.

Well, I'll have to buy some pickles.

100_1486.JPG

100_1485.JPGI decided to sample several houses and buy them from the vigorous Onisan. 1,500 yen per bottle.

As you know, this beta pickles are radish rice koji pickled with offering in the Ebisu-ko city of Hoda Ebisu Shrine in Otemmacho. It was in "Chuo-ku Monoshiri Encyclopedia" that the purchased radish came to be called "Bedarazuke" because it became sticky when it touched the clothes. This beta pickles became famous and the name of the city was "Betara City". It is said that the image of deity of Hoda Ebisu Shrine was worshiped by Ieyasu, Kanso Magome, who was village headman in Temmacho. Yes, do you know the origin of "Ebisu-ko"? October is said to be Kannazuki, and all the gods gather in Izumo, and only Ebisu-sama remains during that time. It is said that it occurred because of trying to comfort Ebisu who was left behind. (From "Japanese calendar and annual events") Bettara City is held for two days on October 19 and 20 every year. If you haven't come this year, please come and look forward to the autumn tradition next year.

At my house, we had dinner with new rice and long-awaited Betazuke. It is an autumn night when you feel that the last general Yoshinobu was also a favorite, saying, "I'm often born in Japan."

Masaru Shinkawa Jingu Shrine Reisai Festival 2014

[Sam] October 20, 2014 09:00

R0030224RS.JPG  On October 17, "Masaru Shinkawa Jingu Reisai Festival" was held by Miyaji Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine at Masaru Shinkawa Jingu Shrine in Shinkawa 1-chome.

During the Edo period, when sake was transported by boat from the upper part, the accumulation area was Shinkawa, where water transportation was convenient, and flourished as a sake wholesale district and continued to this day.

Masaru Shinkawa Jingu Shrine has been revered as a guardian deity of Shinkawa's sake wholesaler since the Edo period, and when young sake arrived every year, it was dedicated to Jinzen as "Hatsuho" and then served for business.

Reisai Festival is still praying for the development of the alcoholic beverage industry, including local liquor wholesalers.

After the festival, we moved to the adjacent Sake Foods Health Insurance Association Hall and held a direct meeting (Narai), which has been handed down since the Edo period, "Celebrating the conclusion of business negotiations and praying for the prosperity of both sellers and buyers." "A unique hand tightening "Shinkawa tightening" will be unfolded.

Participants heard that there is a penalty called "punishable cup" if the drink is poorly drunk one after another in accordance with the shout and clapping of "Prosperity-".

✎Shinkawa tightening procedure

 1. "Oh!"

(In the first vocalization, the signal that the sake has finished pouring into the cup. It also means confirming the establishment of a business.

 2. "Borrow your hand" (a signal to ask everyone to clapping)

 3. "I'm sorry!" (A signal to finally start tightening)

⑦ Yoi Yoi Yoi Yoi Yoi Yoi Yoi Yoi Yoi (Kora) Yoi Yoi Yoi

   ⑤ Chon gohan

   ③ Jou

The underlined part of the katakana vocalization + clapping. The underlined hiragana is only clapping. (Katakana) part only speaks.

It is also known as "7.5.3 tightening" because it is hand-made with a rhythm of 7.5.3.

Chuo-ku Town Walking Tour ★Visiting Ginza Gallery

[Mapo ★] October 15, 2014 09:00

On October 7th, we went around the town walk tour Ginza Gallery.

There are 10 participants.

Meet in front of the clock tower at Sukiyabashi Park and go around the Yanagi Gallery, Nichido Gallery, and Shinminedo Gallery.

At first, Yanagi Gallery.

There are a few words from the president who left me very much.

I can't buy art museums, but I can buy art galleries.
Aside from buying or not, what if you buy a picture in this?
If you could get one of them?
It's fun to look at the picture while thinking like that.

garo1.jpg RIMG1689x.JPG

Among Yanagi Gallery, I like Hiroshi Okano's paintings very much.
The color is beautiful, and there are some things that can be bought.
"Decorating this picture of this size in that place in the living room."
I thought it was very fun, and I really wanted a picture (laughs).

I received a pamphlet (upper right)

I was doing a Dali exhibition at the Nichido Gallery.
It seems to be the 110th anniversary of Dali's birth.
It's not a picture, so it's hard to carry artworks.
I was able to hear stories such as the story behind Dali.

They also sell postcards and notepads of famous painters.
I received big postcards from Dali and Monet, where the next event is written.

There is a permanent exhibition in the basement, and there are many pictures hanging.
The painter who thought this person's picture was good checks the name!

garo2.jpg RIMG1691x.JPG

garo3.jpg RIMG1692x.JPG

The last is Shiminedo.
I had plenty of time, so I explained the pictures one by one.

Knowing the background and story of the picture
It's interesting because the attachment is born in the picture and the perspective changes.

By the way, Mr. Shiminedo's painting doesn't have a price tag.
When asked why, many people look at the name and price when looking at the picture, and then see the picture.
He seems to have not put a price tag because he wants to see the picture without prejudice of the amount.

By the way, I heard the amount of money and said, "I'm going to do that much."
If you think, that picture is your favorite picture.
If you think, "Eh, isn't it so expensive?" (laughs)

The gallery in Ginza seems to have a high threshold.
Today, I felt like I could go to the gallery more easily.

It seems that going around the gallery in Ginza will be a habit.
