A mysterious building in Hakozaki-cho

[pont] April 14, 2015 09:00

Get off at Suitengumae Station and walk back street from Hakozaki T-CAT to Hakozaki Park.

At first glance, there is a mysterious building that you don't know what to use.

During the imperial procession Union of portable shrine in Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine

The Hakoshimachikai, which is used

It's a warehouse for mikoshi.

Most of Chuo-ku are Kanda Myojin and Hiyoshi Shrine.

In the town of shrine parishioner, the Hakozaki and the Shinkawa area are located.

Located in Koto Ward on the opposite bank of the Sumida River
It's shrine parishioner town in Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine.

The Hakozaki and Shinkawa districts and the Eidaijima district on the opposite bank are located.

The shallows that were located on the Sumida River during the Edo period.

Land made by reclaiming land
There is something in common.

As a result, the Hakozaki and Shinkawa districts are now in place.
In the same landfill, not Kanda Myojin

One of the children of Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine

In the sense of humanity of the people of the Edo period

It seems to be the result of being considered natural.

The portable shrine Union imperial procession, which consists of the town of shrine parishioner in Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine.

As a water festival held once every three years

It's famous, but it's soaked mikoshi.

It is said that it will take a year to dry completely.

The last time the portable shrine Union imperial procession was in August 2014.
The water has not yet dried completely

It is kept in a safe place in the warehouse.

Unfortunately, the shutters are usually closed.

You can't see the mikoshi itself, but you can't see it.

If you see this building when you go to T-CAT or Hakozaki Park, you can see it.

You can remember it as a storage place for important mikoshi in Hakozaki.

I'm glad.

◆The Bank of Japan's skin half coat of the Taisho era is also exhibited ~ "Kabuto-cho / Kayabacho Machikado Exhibition Hall" opens.

[Akira Makibuchi / Sharakusai] April 10, 2015 14:00

In a corner of Sakamotocho Park, the Kabuto-cho / Kayabacho Machikado Exhibition Hall opened in March (bottom photo). In addition to portable shrine in the town and floats, there are also fire-related materials. Among them, there are valuable materials such as the Bank of Japan's Hanten.

0913_591_150405kabutotenji.jpgIn the exhibition hall, floats from Kayabacho 1-chome, 2-3-chome and portable shrine and Kabuto-cho in Kabuto-cho are displayed lively. This area is home to a shrine that used to be the Hie-jinja Shrine resting place of portable shrines during the Edo period, and the Sanno Festival, known as the Tenka Festival, is held every other year in summer.

One of the exhibits I would like to pay attention to is the Bank of Japan. It is a deer skin half coat given by the Bank of Japan during the Taisho era, and a book is drawn on the back with the crest and kanji of the Bank of Japan, and can be read as "Japan" (upper right in the photo).

In addition, "Shimizu Building Deer Skin Hanoi" presented at the beginning of the Showa era, "Ssashiko's Hanoi and hood" used in the Taisho era, and "Matoi" of Edomachi Fire Fighting Second Group 100 sets are also on display.

Since there is an explanation board that describes the changes in the region, it can be said that it is a great exhibition hall for historical walks in Kabuto-cho and Kayabacho. The enjoyment of "Chuo-ku Machikado Exhibition Hall" has increased by one more thing. Here>> @ Akira Makibuchi

"Traditional Crafts, Japanese Paper (World Intangible Cultural Property) "

[Marsha Horiuchi of Edo] April 9, 2015 14:00

Last November, UNESCO registered "Washi Japanese Handmade Washi Technology" with Intangible Cultural Property.
"Washi" washi, a long-established Ozu Washi that has been around for more than 360 years at Nihonbashi Honmachi 3-chome.
I'm from Ise Matsuzaka.

Originally, I was interested in "Matsuzaka and Omi merchants" related to many long-established stores in Nihonbashi, and I was invited by the cheerful spring weather.
I went bravely. On the first floor of the store, there are a lot of Japanese paper with very calm colors.

Iwami Hanshi (Hamada City, Shimane Prefecture) and Hon Mino Paper (Mino City, Gifu Prefecture) registered in the World Intangible Cultural Property.
In addition to the three Japanese paper "Hosokawa Paper" (Ogawa-cho, Saitama-ken, Higashi-Chichibu-mura), Japanese calligraphy tools are available.

There is also a handmade Japanese paper experience workshop on the first floor, so it seems that you can experience making A4 size paper.

The second floor will be a gallery and cultural classroom, and the third floor will be renewed in early May at the Ozu Historical Museum and Ozu Washi Teruran (free of charge).
I'm really looking forward to it.
I'm thinking about making New Year's cards next year.

If you look at the side of the road, a monument of "The origin of Bettara City" is built.

Yes, this is located in the neighborhood of Honmachi near Kodemmacho.

Hanamo Yu @ Jisshi Park

[Nanako Tsukishima] April 9, 2015 09:00

Correspondent Rookie Natsuki Tsukishima.

I would like to provide you with the information you care about in an easy-to-understand manner.

Well, do you see NHK Taiga drama series "Hanamo Yu"?

Ansei's prison has finally begun. IMG_5279.JPG

Jisshi Park, where the Temmacho prison was located, is the land of the end of Yoshida Shoin.

The monument in the park is engraved with a phrase of resignation.

Even if the body does not decay in Nobe of Hi Musashi, Yamato soul

On a winter day, I have encountered an uncle who examines the phrase cheerfully in front of the monument.

When I closed my eyes and listened, I think I went back in time to late Tokugawa shogunate.

Each of the words resonated in my heart.

In the spring, the laughter of those who enjoy cherry blossom viewing echoes while the cherry blossoms are burning.

Time has passed and it has become a place full of happiness.

Dr. Matsukage, the handsome guys late Tokugawa shogunate who lived in a turbulent era

I've done my best to keep my aspirations safe~

I muttered in my heart without thinking.

It is a park with many questions in the Chuo-ku sightseeing certification.

Why don't you visit it once?

Spring breeze in the upper part of Kibori-cho♪

[Shitamachi Tom] April 6, 2015 12:00

201504_Kabuki 1(2) jpg [Kabukiza] has started "The fourth generation Nakamura Ganjiro's name announcement performance". The past "Gunjaku" has been renewed, and a big historic site has been revived after the predecessor. After a performance at [Shochiku-za, Osaka] in January and February, it was unveiled in Tokyo.

Since the first day, there has been a lot of daily entry. Of course, there are many customers who want to see Ganjiro, the leading role, but it is also a secret to even more popular that executives are working together to excite the festive mood.

I feel like the first spring breeze is blowing in the town of Tokyo.

By the way, there are many people who are familiar with the fun of the theater, so I will postpone it, and this time I will introduce the [Kabukiza Gallery] on the 5th floor of Kabukiza Tower. It is a space where you can enjoy various special exhibitions related to Kabuki. Currently, materials and videos related to Ganjiro Nakamura are on display under the title "Ganjirohan" along with the theater performance.
In Kyoto and Osaka, the word "~han" is often used as a title. It means "-san", but there is a nuance that is more familiar and respected than that. It would be how long the past Ganjiro was longed for by people.

201504_Kabuki Gallery 031.jpg In the gallery, there are exhibits of costumes actually used by Ganjiro on the stage, and valuable images of successive generations. I feel more close to you. You can also put it in the photo together beside the picture of Ganjiro, the current generation of the name greeting. After the tour, you can also walk through the garden on the same floor or enjoy the famous "Matcha Mont Blanc" at "Kotobuki Tsukido".

While looking at the large roof, descend the Goemon Staircase and go to the 4th floor, you will see photos of nostalgic famous actors in the corridor. Walking slowly while thinking of the stage scene of memories is a rich time.

By the way, if you bring your Kabukiza admission ticket for this month, the admission fee will be reduced by 100 yen at 600 yen.

You can stop by before and after the theater, or visit with a silver bra. Please come and visit us.

☆Scenery limited to nationally designated important cultural properties

[Conquering Show Lew ☆] April 4, 2015 09:00

The redevelopment project for the Nihonbashi and Kyobashi areas is underway, but the new building near the Nihonbashi intersection can now be seen.

We tend to pay attention to the technologies and designs introduced in new buildings.

What I would like to recommend is the appearance of the Takashimaya Tokyo store, which was completed in 1933 and was designated as the first important cultural property of department store construction in 2009! ! !

Currently, the building next to the "National Important Cultural Property" is under construction, and you can see the scenery for a limited time.

Don't miss it!
