This year's Tsukishima Kusa City is Saturday, July 9 and 10 (Sun)! Tsukishima Kusaichi Market - Coming this July 9th and 10th!

[HK] June 20, 2016 14:00

In the past, when the tray approached, there was a market that sold tray products such as roasting, saws, and brooms, which was the beginning of the city. Today, more than 100 stores have been opened by member stores in the local shopping district, and local products have also been gathered on Tsukishima, making it a grass market that can be enjoyed by children and adults.

In the old days, when people began to prepare for a three day Obon Holiday (Buddhist holiday which is told that the soul of the ancestors return to their family), quipments to decorate and greet the souls at home were sold at the temporary Kusaichi Market. Now, Tsukishima Kusaichi Market has become a festive event which does not only sell ritual goods. Over a hundred of delightful booths selling varieties of goods are prepared by the member stores during the period, and everyone from adults to children enjoy the event.

CIMG1564.JPG

This year's event will be held from 14:00 to 20:30 on Saturday, July 9 and 10 (Sun), and from 13:00 on the 9th of the first day, there will be an opening event by Tsukuda Junior High School Tsukishima Taiko Club.

In addition, preparations are being made in the local shopping street for various briefings, workshops, and dealing with lost children on the day for Kusaichi.

Last year, there will be about 32,000 visitors, and there will surely be many this year. I'm looking forward to it.

This year, Tsukishima Kusaichi Market is scheduled on July 9th and 10th from 2:00pm to 8:30pm. On the first day of July 9th, there will be a drum performance by Tsukuda Junior High School students from 1pm. Currently, the booth arrangers are preparing and training for the safety and organized operation during the event including lost child care.

Last year, nearly 32,000 people visited the event and maybe this year more.

So, why don't you come and join!

It's full of charm! Oita #02] Oita Information Center in Onsen Prefecture and Shochu Talk (Ginza 2-chome)

[Dye] June 19, 2016 09:00

It will be a series of throws, but this time it is next to "Zarai Oita".

Introducing the tourist information center in Oita Prefecture (Oita Information Center in Onsen Prefecture).

◆◆Click here for the past article of "Zarai Oita"◆◆

s29_01.jpg s29_02.jpg

Immediately after entering the Yuuraku Bridge intersection on Sotobori-dori St. (where CAFE de GINZA is located at the corner) toward Chuo-dori, it is on the 8th floor of Hulic Nishi Ginza Building. The building is marked like a five-yen coin on the first floor.

There is an entrance on your right after getting off the elevator. First of all, "Mejiron" will welcome you.

s29_03.jpg s29_05.jpg

Oita's prefectural bird is mejiro. I was born during the national polity, so I'm tightening my hachimaki.

Here, you can get information about Oita Prefecture's tourist information and local products.

Just when I came, there was a person who was asked about soy sauce from Oita Prefecture, and the person in charge was very careful and responded.

I felt reassuring at home.

There are many brochures for each municipality and sightseeing spots.

s29_04.jpg

If you look at it, I want to go (*^^*)

Speaking of sightseeing spots in Oita Prefecture, I wonder if Yufuin is.

It is said that he is operating well without losing the earthquake, so I would like to go there.

In addition, Tora-san has visited Oita Prefecture several times with "Man is hard".

Yunohira Onsen where Julie and Yuko Tanaka met, I would like to walk that cobblestone too.

Not only in winter, but also in summer hot springs are pleasant. 。 。 Oh, it's nice (' ▽ `*)

By the way, we also sell "shochu" here. (Purchase is paid at Zarai Oita's product cash register)

s29_07.jpg

I'm sparse with alcohol, but I'm completely absorbed in teaching me a lot here.

The explanation of the staff of the prefecture was very fun, and it was really delicious when I drank it.

s29_08.jpg s29_09.jpg

You know! "I'm here." It's a sake from Oita Prefecture.

There are also "Hulasco" of transparency MAX, "Special" like bourbon whiskey, and "Sorayama Doken". It's interesting to compare drinking.

s29_11.jpg s29_12.jpg

"Yaba Beauty (Rice)" and various other kinds that seem to be hard to get.

I also showed you the super rare "Geten". (This is unfortunately not for sale)

It's strong at nearly 40 degrees, but it's easy to enter....That's right. It may be sold at roadside rest area in Nakatsu.

s29_13.jpg

In the dialect of the Nakatsu region, it seems to mean "twisting".

Behind is the Cabos fairy (?) "Kabotan" (^^)♪

s29_17.jpg

"Moriya" (Saiki City) recommended that "it looks like a fruit wheat chocolate"

"Is this wheat chocolate?" means "Is it the best star" (Usa City)

"Toya" is enjoying it all night.

s29_16.jpg

Barley shochu made from yeast of Nadeshiko flower and subsoil water of the clear stream Banjo River. headwater.

It is an easy-to-drink liquor with a gorgeous scent (*^^*)

By the way, hometown tax payment is done in each city and prefecture, and you can get liquor etc.◎

In the case of the prefecture, it seems that you can also choose a meal ticket for "Zarai".

s29_14.jpg

It might be nice to choose the chugen here.

Oita is full of charm.

The place is maniac, but I think a modest feeling is good on the contrary.

These people are also kind, and even in the lively Ginza, you can calm down and relax.

If you are near you, try climbing the elevator ^^

It's full of charm! Oita #01 Restaurant & Product Sales "Zarai Oita" (Ginza 2-chome)

[Dye] June 16, 2016 09:00

The Kumamoto Earthquake was hit by a major shaking in Oita Prefecture, and I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all those affected by the disaster.

In addition, cancellations have been occurring one after another at tourist destinations such as Yufuin, and there seems to be a blow to that.

It is said that it is operating well, so I hope that it can be conveyed more (` ・ ω ・ ')....

This time, I would like to introduce the flag shop "Zarai Oita" in Oita Prefecture, which I have been worried about for a long time.

There are many antenna shops all over the country in Ginza, but this is a restaurant main and a slightly different shop full of luxury.

s28_01.jpg s28_02.jpg

Immediately after entering the Yuuraku Bridge intersection on Sotobori-dori St. (where CAFE de GINZA is located at the corner) toward Chuo-dori, it is on the 8th floor of Hulic Nishi Ginza Building. It might be a sign of a five-yen coin.

Is there a shop here? Really? ?...When I went up the elevator, I thought

I arrived at "Zarai" with a chic atmosphere.

s28_04.jpg s28_03.jpg

"Zarai" is a word used in "Taiheiki" and expresses "while" thinking about various things. While in Tokyo, he enjoys the blessings of Oita's local area and the warmth of people, and expresses his heart to be a place to talk.

To be honest, "It's high. I wonder if it's okay to enter. The first impression was that everyone in Oita Prefecture who heard the story was very friendly and gentle, and I've talked about correspondent blogs so far. I feel the most comfortable and fun.

I really tasted the warmth of people!

The restaurant has a merchandise corner, which is just easy to enter.

We have a selection of carefully selected items from Oita Prefecture. Full of the blessings of the local area

s28_05.jpg s28_06.jpg

"Ayu fish sauce" is used as a secret ingredient in top European restaurants. There's no smell.

Ayu fish sauce is also contained in the cute "tamago rice". That's why egg-cake rice becomes delicious.

s28_09.jpg s28_07.jpg

"Gomadashi" which can also be used for ochazuke, udon, and banya cauda.

Japan's best dried shiitake mushroom

s28_10.jpg s28_08.jpg

"Granular master" of "Murata" in Yufuin. I'm worried because it's something different....

The season of "Kaboss" is summer. It is said that the fruit juice is placed all year round and the fruit is also in season.

s28_12.jpg s28_18.jpg

The Beppu region is famous for bamboo craft, and it seems that there is Japan's only artisan training institution.

The shopping basket and the lighting of the shop were also delicate in bamboo craft. The one in the photo above is an exhibit.

s28_17.jpg

Bamboo chopsticks. It seems to be used in restaurants. This is available.☆

I was just looking for slim chopsticks, so it was very easy to use when I tried it!

There were many other things, such as Houndkin soy sauce and sweets, but I can't introduce you to it, so please go there ('@`*).

The main restaurant is so that you can fully enjoy Oita ingredients and sake.

It was almost filled by reservation, but it was said that if there was space, it could be entered on the day.

s28_13.jpg s28_14.jpg

It's an adult atmosphere. The tableware is also called Ontayaki in Hita City, and it seems that you can also get Oita sake and wine.

Dinner is a course around ¥ 10,000, but it is said that workshops (lunch & hands-on courses) are held several times a year for about ¥ 5,000.

Last year, he seemed to be able to learn how to make sesame soup and yuzukosho.

He said he was considering courses on bamboo craft, Shochu Blend, and hot springs in the future. ^^

If you check Facebook, you can see the event information.

s28_15.jpg

This donation will be sent to Oita Prefecture.

By the way, there is a sequel to "shochu". (^^;)

As it becomes longer, I will make a separate article together with the "Tourist Information Center" next to "Zarai".

It may be a bit difficult to understand the location, but please try visiting Ginza as if you were exploring Ginza.

It's a bit different antenna shop.◎

Cat-loving paradise "Nekoya" Cat Lovers' Paradise, "Nekoya"

[HK] June 15, 2016 09:00

Tsukishima is famous for its banonja, but did you know that there is a specialty store for cat goods?

It may not be famous for enthusiasts, but this shop is basically open only on Saturdays and Sundays, so many people don't know it yet?

Nishinaka Shopping Street is located in a narrow alley, and on weekends cat lovers gather regardless of men and women of all ages.

Tsukishima is famous for "Monja (Japanse soul food)", but did you know that there practically is a very special select shop for cat goods collectors? If you are a maniac, you might already be aware of, but since this shop only opens on Saturdays and Sundays, a lot of people might not know.

CIMG1432.JPGCIMG1438.JPG

If you step into the cat shop, you will be absorbed in tasteful cat goods. Products are available in Japan and overseas.

If you step into the shop, you will be taken away with the irrisitible cats/goods surrounding you. The goods are supplyed worldwide.

CIMG1483.JPG

There are also cat shop original products, some of which can only be purchased at this store.

There are some original products that you can only buy at "Nekoya".

CIMG1473 (2). JPG

Personally, I like the system, so my eyes stopped like this.

I have a weakness for lazy cats.

CIMG1489.JPG

Why only open on Saturdays and Sundays is that the owner, Onikubo's main job is a dentist, so he is busy with his main business on weekdays.

The reason why this shop only opens on weekends, is because Ms. Onikubo is busy during weekdays. She is a dentist by profession. CIMG1465.JPG

When you come to Tsukishima on weekends, if you like cats, why don't you stop by? It is also open during the grass market in July (9th and 10th in 2016).

If you have a time to visit Tsukishima on weekends and if you are a cat lover, why don't you stop over? The shop will be opened during Kusaichi festival (July 9-10, 2016), so come on over.

Do you know Nishinaka-dori? @ Tsukishima & Kachidoki

[Nanako Tsukishima] June 7, 2016 09:00

Do you know the name of the road you walk every day?

In Chuo-ku, several roads are nicknamed.

According to the ward's website, the roads that play an important role as the living space of the inhabitants are nicknamed, making them easy to understand, and 98 routes are currently set up.

There are a total of 10 routes in the Tsukishima area, the town of Nanako, including the Triton Bridge and the Sakura Pedestrian Road.

This time, I walked from Nishinaka-dori, famous for Monjayaki, from the starting point (Tsukishima 1-chome 9) to the end point (Kachidoki 5-chome 11).

Nishinaka-dori begins when you leave Tsukishima Station on the Yurakucho Line. The red signboard of "Tsukishima Nishinaka-dori Ichibangai" is vivid in my eyes. As you go to the second or third Avenue, you will see more signs for Monjayaki shops. Recently, I have seen students on school excursions during the day. Now Monja Street is a theme park. After passing the popular bar where you can line up, "Nishinakadori Shopping Street" ends at the exit of 4th Avenue, but only one-third of "Nishinaka-dori" is over.

From here, there are buildings on both sides, and cross the Tsukishima River at Nishinakabashi and you will reach Harumi-dori St. Cross the police box at Harumi Intersection, proceed between the View Tower and Tsukishima Daini Elementary School, and hit at the Sophia Tower. On the map, "Nishinaka-dori" still continues beyond Shinzuki Shimakawa.

Once on Kiyosumi-dori, pass under the Kachidoki Overpass under construction, return to Nishinaka-dori, proceed between warehouses and condominiums, and end at the end.

The nickname of the road in Chuo-ku triggered me to learn that Nishinaka-dori Shopping Street is just a part of the street.

Roads are the same as the way of living for the residents, and have various faces and tastes.

It is also recommended to walk along 98 routes while looking at the road nickname map in Chuo-ku and enjoy new discoveries.

I walked 2-chome from Ginza 1-chome in the morning.

[kimitaku] June 1, 2016 18:00

After the rain, I walked around Ginza, a sunny morning.

Colorful colors have jumped in from the window to shoot sleepy eyes.

DSC_0544.JPGDSC_0542.JPG

Because it is early in the morning, yellow trash cans and brown kidos may be left.

The gold color of the nearby buildings and the fashionable clothes of the windows are all coming from now on.

For this reason, I feel like I'm releasing the color.

DSC_0543.JPG

The willows in front of the Okuno Building are also brightly green.

DSC_0550.JPG

And then

Enjoy a morning walk from the direction of Yonaiville.

Foreign tourists also walked lightly on the cobblestones of Ichimatsu pattern.

DSC_0552.JPG DSC_0551.JPG

Surrounded by fashionable colors, I felt like I had some courage to do my best today.

In Ginza in the morning, there are few people and it is easy to walk.
