[Chuo-ku to enjoy with children] #17: Raising Festival CHUO 2017 (Tsukiji Fish Bank)

[Dye] October 31, 2017 18:00

It's already November.
There were many typhoons this year, but will the consecutive holidays this weekend be a good day for going out? ^

By the way, on November 3rd (Friday / holiday), an event that is nice for children will be held on the Tsukiji Fish Bank!
“Ikusai Fes CHUO 2017”
http://ikufes-chuo.com/

It seems that there are many events related to fish just because it is Tsukiji.
In addition to the programs that require advance reservations, it seems that you can enjoy it for free on the day.

One of the things I personally care about is workshops by groups in the city.

If you have some excerpts, please.
〇 Let's make a shooting game with programming! (Kids Jump Programming)
〇 Let's make Christmas decorations! (Machino Terakoya Nursery School)
〇 Kids & Family Caricature Tsukiji Version (Tsukiji Painting Corps)
〇 Let's play with dad ♪ Paraballoon! + α (Nihonbashi Daddy Association)
・・・etc
I'm sorry I couldn't introduce all of them....)

For example,
"Kids Jump Programming" is a classroom where you can learn programming in Nihonbashibakurocho and Kachidoki.
"Machi no Terakoya Nursery School" has a nursery school and school childcare in Nihonbashitomizawacho.
There's a dad's meeting in Nihonbashi and Kachidoki.
What Artis Tsukiji Painting Corps? ? I'm worried about (' ▽ `*)

You can see that there are various groups and companies in the city and support child care.
It is also a good opportunity to talk directly with such organizations, so if you are interested, please join us.☆

Autumn Lunch Time Acoustic Live at KayGee's / Autumn Lunch Time Acoustic Live at KayGee's

[HK] October 30, 2017 14:00

This is the announcement of the long-awaited lunch live event at KayGee's, a hideout cafe bar in Shinkawa that I introduced on my blog before.

The live performance of this shop was always scheduled for night, so I can't go inside, and this time it's a lunch live with lunch, so I'm going to invite my friends to participate.

Ika Yamamura, who sings anything such as jazz, bossanova, pop, etc. Hiroki Shindo, who loves guitar, opens a guitar class alongside sessions, recordings, and live activities. I've heard these two live performances at a certain cafe in Marunouchi before, but I can spend a wonderful time with a truly comfortable acoustic sound that penetrates my body and relaxes my heart.

4,700 yen including tax (with lunch / one drink) is quite advantageous, and the maximum number of seats is up to 30 people, so it is just the right size.

Details are as follows:

Date and time: November Saturday, November 18, 2017 Lunch start 13:00/Start 14:00

Fees: 4,700 yen including tax (music charge/lunch/with one drink)

Inquiries and reservations: KayGee's 03-5542-0335 (Sun/holiday holiday)

Yes, I have been waiting for this, Cafe Bar "Kaygee's" in Shinkawa is scheduling Lunch Time Acoustic Live Event.

Since this will be held during daytime with lunch, I am willing to go with my friend because almost every past live event were held at night which was difficult for me to join.

Vocalist Itsuka Yamamura can really sing. Her repertories are Jazz, Bosa Nova, Pops, etc, she can sing almost anything. You just can't help feeling happy listening to Gutarist Hiroki Shido's performance since he is so much devoted to guitar. He is also a busy man doing session with artists, recording, his own live, and even guitar lesson class.
I once saw their performance at cafe in Marunouchi. They enthralled everyone with their smooth acoustic sound, that soaked into everyones' body and soul, making everyone soft and relaxed.

Charge is JPY4,700 per person including tax, lunch and one drink which is quite reasonable. The place is cozy and pleasant with 30 seats which is just the right size for acoustic live performance.

<Further Details>

Date: November 18, 2017 (Sat. ) Open 13:00 / Performance Start 14:00

Travel from Nihonbashi to Ningyocho / Ginza with free transportation on the Metro Link and enjoy sightseeing and shopping!

[Sakura is good] October 26, 2017 14:00

There is a free tour bus for "Metrolink Nihonbashi / E Line". In Chuo-ku, there is another ward-operated "Edo Bus" 100 yen. Chuo-ku is very blessed with many free bus stops in Tokyo. You can easily enjoy sightseeing and shopping in the Nihonbashi, Tokyo Station, Kyobashi (Ginza / Yurakucho) and Ningyocho areas.

DSC_1188.jpgDSC_1201.jpg

Nihonbashi Line

DSC_1170.jpgDSC_1169.jpg

Nihonbashi E Line Yellow Bus

There are two routes, but the course (one-way) traveling around Tokyo Station, Nihonbashi and Kyobashi districts is every 10 to 15 minutes. The E course that travels around Tokyo Station, Nihonbashi, and Ningyocho is (one-way) every 22 minutes. There are five common stops: Tokyo Station Yaesu Exit, Subway Mitsukoshimae Station, Nihonbashi 1-chome, Nihonbashi 2-chome, Yaesu Underground Shopping Center. Weekdays 8:00-18:00 Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays 10:00-20:00

First of all, while comparing the Chuo-ku map with the route map (get the course table in the bus), I left two courses from Tokyo Station to check the location of the bus stop and went around. I wrote the location of the stop on the Chuo-ku map. (The stop on the road side is easy to understand, but the display on the building side is difficult to understand. Some stops may be changed due to construction work.)

When I knew the location of the bus stop, I got off and walked from one section until I could walk, and I repeatedly took the bus if I was tired. I couldn't find the bus stop that I should have confirmed from the bus.

Here are some places that are conveniently used at the stop. Tokyo Yaesu Exit-Tokyo Station is mainly used by those who use Tokyo Station. From Tokyo Station, walk along the Sotobori-dori St. in the direction of Nihonbashi. It was difficult to understand because it was far from Tokyo Station in front of the Iron and Steel Hall. Personally, I think the Yaesu subway street in front of the station is convenient. Underground Mitsukoshimae Station 1-chome Nihonbashi Muromachi - Kanda Station can also be reached. You can go to Hamacho 2-chome Meijiza-mae-Hamacho Park / Higashi Nihonbashi Station. It's in front of Suitengu-mae Subway-Royal Park Hotel, so you can walk to Ginza on Suitengu-Tokyo City Air Terminal Nihonbashi 2-chome Takashimaya Kyobashi 2-chome-Chuo-dori. If you walk as it is, you can also reach Yurakucho Station and Shimbashi Station. I go through Harumi-dori St. to Higashiginza, Tsukiji, Kachidokibashi, and walk to Tsukishima.

The bus stop of the Edo bus is also difficult to understand, so you can see it when you go around. If you are tired of walking, you can take a walk freely in Chuo-ku by repeating the bus.

It is also recommended to combine the metro rings with Edo buses. Since the Metroling does not run at the end of Chuo-ku, the Edo bus runs to the end of Chuo-ku.

The Edo bus is also divided into two courses. First of all, pay 100 yen, and the ward office (get the Edo bus MAP in the ward office book) is the departure / end point, so let's go around Ningyocho, Horidomecho, Higashinihombashi, Bakurocho, Nihonbashi courses. When you get off the bus at the ward office, if you get a transfer ticket, you can also go around the Tsukishima, Kachidoki, Harumi and Toyomi courses for 100 yen. However, if you get off once, it is only effective at the transfer station, so if you want to get on and off many times. 300 yen per day ticket is a great deal. Every 20 minutes. Weekdays 7: 00-18:40 Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays 18:40 (from ward office)

Here are some of my recommended courses. If you index "Free Tour Bus TOP" on your smartphone, it is convenient to tap Metrolink Nihonbashi to move the bus position in the operation status. The position of the bus is moving properly, so you can check when you will arrive at your stop.

Tokyo Station-Tokyo Yaesu Exit / Yaesu Underground Shopping Center (both courses are OK) Get off at Nihonbashi Muromachi 1-chome / Shin-Nihonbashi Station [Antenna Shop Nihonbashi Fukushimakan ⇒ Senbikiya ⇒ Mie Terrace ⇒ Bridge Niigata ⇒ Narakan Mahoroba ⇒ Shimanekan (currently closed) ⇒ Mitsukoshi Main Store ⇒ Nihonbashi Toyamakan ⇒ Yamanashi Prefectural Museum ⇒ Yamanashi Prefectural Museum ⇒ Nihonbashi "Shigakan" will open on October 29.

As a recommended resting place, the event on the 2nd floor of Mie Terrace is wonderful. On days when there is no event, Mie Prefecture information is displayed on the screen, so you can collect information on Mie Prefecture while taking a break. There are many events, flyers can be provided, and you can apply immediately.

I have been able to participate in many events so far. That's because I often take a break on Mie Terrace. Relaxing in a spacious space is the joy of wearing clothes.

IMG_20171013_125810.jpg IMG_20171013_125825.jpg

"Fukutoku no Mori" can also enjoy greenery and flowers slowly on a sunny and warm day.

IMG_20171011_111813.jpg

There are many people who enjoy lunchtime and tea time. I often read at restrooms.

The lounges on the 3rd and 4th floors of the Mitsukoshi Main Store have coffee makers. The chair is also spacious, so you can get tired when you want to take a break during shopping or strolling.

DSC_1205.jpg DSC_1206.jpg

DSC_1203.jpg DSC_1204.jpg

It was 3 o'clock when I was taking a break in the lounge in Mitsukoshi while the rain continued every day. Then, the pipe organ performance began, and the space from the first floor to the roof was large, so the performance and sound effects were wonderful, and this time healed and improved. On the way home, my heart was bounced, my mood was bright, and my feet were light on my way home.

IMG_20171013_150351.jpg IMG_20171013_150235.jpg

Also, I wanted to come to listen to the pipe organ performance. This time, it was a coincidence, but next time I decided to check the Mitsukoshi event schedule in advance and come to listen to the performance.

From here, go to the Kyobashi 2-chome bus stop Ginza, silver bra on Chuo-dori from Ginza 1-chome to Ginza.

DSC_1175.jpg DSC_1258.jpg DSC_1244.jpg

We will take a break at Ginza Six. My favorite is the rooftop garden.

DSC_1225.jpg DSC_1223.jpg

Ginza is large, so if you walk from 1-chome, it is just 6-chome, so it is a perfect resting place. During the hot season, you can feel a cool feeling on the surface of the water.

DSC_1232.jpg DSC_1240.jpg

The spacious space, greenery, window glass full of openness, and location overlooking downstairs are wonderful. I am surprised at my proximity to the sky. It's my best favorite now.

According to the antenna shop guide in Chuo-ku, we won 26 "Atenna Shop stamp rally in Chuo-ku" using "MetroLink". I was able to go around earlier than walking, so I would like to try again next year.

At the Tokyo Olympics, we hope that people around the world will know that sightseeing and shopping can be done using a free metro bus unique to Chuo-ku. We will continue to send out how to use the free metro bus so that many people will be pleased.

Next spring, cherry blossom viewing of the Nihonbashi River at Ryukan Sakura Bridge!

[Shiba Inu] October 13, 2017 14:00

Currently under redevelopment, Otemachi 2-chome district.

A new bridge will be built in this area that crosses Chiyoda-ku and Chuo-ku across the Nihonbashi River! The name is "Ryukan Sakura Bridge". It is scheduled to open next spring. It's just about the cherry blossoms.

030011.jpg

I looked up at Ryukan Sakura Bridge from Nihonbashi River.

Crossing the bridge along with JR, it is a nice view for railway fans.

There was a moat called the Ryukangawa River at the southern road from the current Ryukanbashi intersection to the Higashi-Kamida 1 intersection, just at the border between Chuo-ku and Chiyoda-ku. It is an artificial waterway that has been reclaimed and dug several times from Edo to the postwar period, and has been completely reclaimed today in Heisei. However, traces and features of important diggings remain here and there, and the current intersection name also uses the name of the bridge that was built over the Ryukan River.

Due to this history, the word "Ryukan" was included in the name of this new bridge.

The location is between Tokyo Station and Kanda Station, near Shin-Tokiwa Bridge. As a result of this redevelopment, a skyscraper with commercial facilities and offices will be built....Rather, I am very much looking forward to creating a promenade and promenade on the banks of the Nihonbashi River where you can enjoy cherry blossoms. The gradual connection between Otemachi and Nihonbashi is expected to change the flow of people.

Next spring, I hope you will enjoy a walk around Nihonbashi in spring evening and Hanami.

In the fall of reading.

[Ken-san] 09:00 on October 9, 2017

_20171004_082317.JPG I'm happy news that Kazuo Ishiguro, a Japanese-American from Nagasaki, won the Nobel Prize in Literature this year. With the spread of smartphones, the number of people reading books has decreased, but during this period when there are many qualification tests and certification tests, some people are reading books on the train and studying, and among young people There are many people who are reading books. That's why I bought a book and started reading at Bunkyodo Bookstore in Ningyocho because it was the fall of reading. One book is "Chuo-ku Monoshiri Encyclopedia", and the other is "Mascarade Night" by Keigo Higashino.

"Chuo-ku Monoshiri Encyclopedia" is also a Chuo-ku sightseeing certification textbook. I bought it last year, but I'd like to read it again this year. Last year, I put this book in a bicycle basket and went here and there to the actual place. (The incident is happening on site! There is also a word that says that last year's book was wrapped around, and the sentence became dirty with a ballpoint pen, so I read it again as a new one and a review.

The other "Mascarade Night" is the third work of the "Mascarade Hotel" series by Keigo Higashino, a writer who loves Ningyocho. The hotel model is the Royal Park Hotel in Suitengu. Information from the weekly magazine at the end of August that "Mascarade Hotel" is being made into a movie, starring Takuya Kimura and Masami Nagasawa, scripting is Yasushi Fukuda of "HERO", but if true, Hiroshi Abe's newcomer series "When the curtain of prayer falls", and next year's Taiga drama series Yashiki "Saigo Don" is a tourist destination at Nihonbashi Elementary School (Saigo Takamori). Next year, Ningyocho and around Suitengu are likely to be lively due to the ripple effects of movies and TV dramas.

_20171004_082414.JPGDSC_1692.JPG

The photo is a poster of the Chuo-ku Tourism Certification affixed outside Bunkyo-do's shop. If you go to Bunkyodo, you will find a lot of books about Chuo-ku and Nihonbashi. Of course, there is also a lot of "Chuo-ku Monoshiri Encyclopedia".

The 10th Chuo-ku Tourism Certification will be held on January 27, 2018 (Saturday) for the certification venue [Ginza venue] is Courtyard Marriott Ginza Tobu Hotel, and [Nihonbashi venue] is the Royal Park Hotel. The application has already started on October 1, so details ...

Please see the homepage of Chuo-ku Tourism Certification http://www.chuoku-kentei.jp/.

Maybe there is "Kimtaku" and "Masami Nagasawa" at the front of the hotel at the certification venue?

Hello! TOKYO WATER TAXI

[The Crown and the Rabbit] October 8, 2017 09:00

What is Tsukiji moving around the market?
Needless to say,
Already from the Edo period
Tsukiji is on the water front.
It was a pioneer in the foreground
What is now
For the good location
It has appeared as a location for many commercial dramas.
If you take a short walk, you must be sure
"Ah? The scenery I saw somewhere here..."and"
You should think of it.

Locals walk and jogging.
Hyugabokko, you can open lunch boxes for lunch, enjoy the night view with one hand of beer, and enjoy the night view.
Some people come to practice trumpet.

I live in a 3-minute walk away.
Considering it as an extended living dining room at home.
The visitor is more than a small room.
I wanted to share the comfort of the panoramic landscape of the buildings along the Sumida River and the waterside.
I often have a picnic on the bench at the base of Kachidokibashi.

Well, the other day I was enjoying the baguette and cheese on the bench
A yellow ship with a different taste from the usual houseboat was laid on the dock in front of me.

When a correspondent's blood fussed, I applied for an interview immediately.
I got OK for 10 minutes before the customer got on.

The ship
Toward the Olympic and Paralympic Games
It was a water taxi that started an attempt to operate it two years ago.

It began full-scale operation last year.
To Haneda Keihin Canal and Sumida River Main
"Taxi Plan"
“Regular Operation Plan”
"charter plan"
It seems that it's going on.

The boat is a small boat with eight passengers.
The captain and the boatman will accompany you.
It seems that it is suitable for chartered boarding with 6 people and for sightseeing and party use.

ck1216_20171002 (2). JPG

Actually, I was on board.
Small buns give you the excitement of going out on a jungle cruise near the sea surface.
Because it has a small turn, "I can go in quite a narrow river."
There is a toilet and air conditioning.

Viewed from rivers and canals, Tokyo will show a 180-degree different look than usual.

Now, the reservation customer got on board and the rope on the berth was broken.
When he waved his hand and saw him off, he rang the reciprocal whistle and departed with Buen.
