Harumi Kachidoki Canal Walking Course (2-1)

[kimitaku] May 31, 2018 14:00

I would like to introduce a walk course that goes a little far from Harumi Kachidoki.

From Kachidoki Station, go south on Harumi-dori St. From Harumi Triton Square, cross the Harumi Sanchome intersection and turn left. (This street that turns left is also Harumi-dori St..)

DSC_4472.JPG

If you proceed as it is, go to "Art Harumi" and turn right at the intersection. When you cross the Harumi Bridge, a large red and black bridge is on your right. This bridge is a bridge with a track that was used at the shipyard of the former Ishikawajima Harima Heavy Industries. If you look through the balustrade, the Rainbow Bridge is far ahead of the canal.

DSC_4474.JPG

This is Harumibashi Park. When you walk while looking at the flower bed, the surface of the canal is on your right. The crane's monument is red and beautiful. This is the Urban Gate Bridge. It opens like the old Kachidokibashi when the ship enters and exits. It's full of runners and dog walkers early in the morning. I'm surprised that this is the city center.

DSC_4482.JPG

There are many things to see. Next month.

Kachidoki Station → Harumi Triton Square → 3, Harumi Intersection → Art Harumi → Harumi Bridge → The Urban Gate Bridge continues.

Kachidoki Station → Harumi Triton Square → 3, Harumi Intersection → Harumi Ohashi → Shin-Toyosu Station → Turn left → Housing Exhibition Hall → Gas Science Museum

Get intoxicated with healthy gourmet food in the city of Kusatsu, Nihonbashi

[Shiba Inu] May 28, 2018 18:00

In Nihonbashiodenmacho, "Kusa City" was held on May 27!

P1020135.jpg

Kushishi City is a festival that became the predecessor of Bettara City, which has continued since the middle of the Edo period. Bettara City is held in October, and is a city standing on the day before "Ebisu-ko", where nearby residents wishing for business prosperity worship Ebisu-sama and invite close people to hold a comfort party. Various things such as Ebisu-ko, year-end necessities, and pickled vegetables are sold, and they are still very busy today. Its predecessor was "Kusashi City". It seems that he was called because he sold unsold galactors and riverbanks.

The city was revived four years ago. It was held in May of fresh green so that it would be paired with Betara City in autumn!

P1020174.jpg

By the way, the modern Kusha city has become one of the highest-level gourmet festivals in Chuo-ku, without being ridiculous. The venue is Ebisu Street, just a short walk from Kodemmacho Station. It's a thin and short street, and the scale is small.

Yeah! But!

The store opening level is amazing. It's not a so-called event gourmet, but a long-established and popular store nearby offers a serious taste at a low price. It's very delicious no matter where you eat it. I don't have anything. There is also an eat-in and take-out. Great!

Please check the official website for details. Nihonbashi Hisashi City

Starting with Nihachikai, La Farina, Restaurant Katsura, Manrai Senkaku, Nihonbashi Benmatsu, and nowadays a lot of attention! At last, an employee cafeteria.

One of the most popular food products was Co-op sales.

Click here for the eat-in corner. It's cool.

The product sales are also substantial.

Good items such as kendama, bags, sketchbooks and stamps are lined up cheaply. There is also a service where you can freely press the stamp on the purchased sketchbook!

P1020156.jpg

P1020159.jpg

There are fewer people than the city, so you can relax. There is also a corner for children.

On this street there is also a shop of HARIO, a popular glass manufacturer.

And there is also a gallery that is irresistible for art lovers.

Currently, we are holding a Bijinga Borderless Publishing Commemorative Exhibition. The popular beauty painters of this world are competing for handbrushes, making it a very sweet space. For more information, please visit the official website. → Miurajiro Gallery

It is less than a 10-minute walk from Ebisu Street, where the city is held, to Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi. In this city, the holding time is from 11:00 to 17:00, which is very healthy! Under the sun in May, leisurely delicious rice, bargain shopping, and tour the gallery. It will be held next year, so if you are interested, please come and play. I recommend an early time!

Gumclean festive~ the sidewalk of Ginza Street~

[Tokyo Dumbo] May 21, 2018 18:00

The sidewalk of Ginza Street is clean every time you go. It is said that the Ginza Street Federation entrusts a specialized contractor twice in the morning and afternoon on the 364th, excluding New Year's Day, picking up trash on sidewalks, flower beds and tree-planting zones, uncollected cardboard, traffic lights, street lights, etc. It seems that if there is a flyer or leaflet stuck on the pole, it is collected together.

One morning, when I was walking along Ginza Street, there was a group working with unfamiliar machines, so I heard about it.

DSC01104.JPG

It is said that the gum on the sidewalk has been removed by a water jet on behalf of the Ginza Street Federation.

The black thing that came with Pochi Pochi is peeled off beautifully.

The machine you use is called Gumclean, which seems to be the machine that HONDA makes.

It means that the members of the Ginza Street Federation are always working hard to protect beautiful and fun Ginza. Ginza will not be possible in one day.

This is the logo mark of the Ginza Street Federation.

The design is based on eight weights used in the silver castinghouse during the Edo period, after Ginza 8.

Edo-Tokyo Museum

[Nyan,] May 21, 2018 12:00

After renovation work, I went to the Edo Tokyo Museum, which was reopened in April 2018.

At the souvenir corner before entering the museum, "That? Can I buy rice cakes here if I go to Higashimukojima? Can you buy that dumpling from Kototoi Bridge here? ! The promotional video in the hall is also an interesting finish that connects the past and the present, reminiscent of "Tokyo2020".

With the expectation of such a forward swing, it is the first thing to enter the hall and greet you ... Rather than welcoming you, you cross Nihonbashi and head to the hall.

gibosi.jpg

Speaking of the official characters of the Edo Tokyo Museum, "Gibo-chan" is the only one that I have been conducting research on loose characters from all over the country. In which world do you have characters with the motif of Nihonbashi's balustrade giboshi? Did the gentle character who wants to ask the person in charge for an hour get permission from Chuo-ku? I can't help but have a secret doubt.

gibochan.jpgToo much maniac ... Gibo-chan.

The permanent exhibits also have various tastes, such as "Try in the daimyo's palanquin" and "Try up the mat that raises the morale of fire extinguishing in the event of a fire" There is no. Among them, the very elaborate miniature version, "The state of the town at the time of Edo," is not fascinating for me to go to Nagahama, Shiga Prefecture to see Kaiyodo's museum.

toori.jpgBinoculars are also installed at hand, and I feel the pride of the exhibition that the more you expand, the more you can understand the detailed design.

nihombasi.jpgThere were a lot of school excursions and Oboshiki students in the hall.

"When is Edo shogunate?" "Is it 1600 years?" "Yeah,"

A conversation like that

"Two years after Ieyasu became a conquer general in 1603, Hidetada took over his job." "Oh, there was a major renovation of Edo Castle as if he was waiting for his replacement, in 1606, starting with the contract of Honmarutaka Ishigaki. "

I'm sure that the conversation will be upgraded (it's a little excited).

mitukosimae.jpgThere was also a miniature of Mitsui Echigoya (now Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi), which flourished with no current silver price. The reason why women's gaze is gathered by wrestlers who walk gently on the road is probably due to the detailed setting that women were banned at that time.

By the way, the Edo Tokyo Museum is full of highlights. It was introduced as a spot that can be enjoyed all day as a teaching material reflecting on the history of Chuo-ku.

Enjoy an elegant moment along the Kamejima River @Cawaii Bread & Coffee

[Hanes] May 9, 2018 09:00

Hello. This is a new correspondent, Hanes.
When I walked around Hatchobori at the "Tokyo Art Antique" held the other day, I walked around Hatchobori.
I was worried about the shop where I got information by accident at the landing of a certain antique shop, so I went there immediately!

The shop is Cawaii Bread & Coffee located along the Kamejima River.
Since its opening in July 2014, it has been popular with nearby workers and residents.
It's a community-based bread and coffee shop.

DSC_1922.JPG

This time, Hatchobori's Creative Editors Unit, which operates this shop, is a creative editor's unit.
We spoke with Mr. Nakayama of Kawaii Factory Co., Ltd.

■Start of opening
Mr. Nakayama and his main job are editing and writing based in Hatchobori....
One day, I realized that there was no bakery near my office that I could go to every day.
"There must be people around me who have the same feeling!"
He seems to have decided to produce a bakery
But it's not just a bakery that's familiar to everyone in the area!

■Aiming for safe and secure bread
A number of delicious breads that jump into your eyes when you enter the store....
I can't see it in my eyes, but in fact there is a commitment.
That is to provide 100% domestic wheat bread using natural yeast (including homemade yeast).

DSC_1933.JPG

All breads are additive-free, handmade in the store.
In the store, you can see the bread making through the glass.
It seems that topping vegetables are also organic as much as possible.

I know in advance how long the bread is baked.
It's good to go to the shop when the bread you care about is baked.

DSC_1920.JPG

■Have an elegant moment in the reborn building
In fact, this building has been used as a small printing shop or garage.
After renovation by Ryue Nishizawa Architect & Design Office, it was reborn as this shop.

We can take out bread and coffee, so many people take it home.
This time, I would like to recommend the eat-in space in the store.
There are 6 seats in the store where the wallpaper of Arabesk, which is the original of this shop, is impressive.

DSC_1931.JPG

There are 5 seats on the outdoor terrace where you can enjoy the view of Kameshima Bridge and Kamejima River.

DSC_1927.JPG

In particular, the terrace seats are located along the river, making it a quiet, relatively cool, and cozy space.
It seems to be one of the best spots in Hatchobori known to those who know it.
Because of this, I also had "Spring Elbe" on the terrace seat.

DSC_1924.JPG

"Elbe" means "vegetable" in Italian and means "vegetable".
It is a seasonal focaccia that is topped with seasonal vegetables.
Snap peas marinated with salt and olive oil are vivid.
It had a taste that made you feel spring
Also, it is nice that the dough uses nutritious whole grain flour.

People from overseas come every day (residents, working, sightseeing)
If there is a shop near your workplace that combines such a wonderful location and bread that you can eat with peace of mind, you can do it.
I want to go there every day.

The cute pink building that can be seen from Kameshima Bridge is a landmark.
When you come near you, look at the flowers blooming in and around the river.
Why don't you forget the time and relax?

[Chuo-ku to enjoy with children] #20: Washroom for Infants (Nihonbashi Sanzen Echizen)

[Dye] May 3, 2018 09:00

It's a good season with the day of going out.

I want my children to have a lot of fun experiences, but when I think about breastfeeding and restrooms on the go, my waist may become heavy....(^^;)
However, Chuo-ku has a nursing room somewhere, such as department stores, and I think it is a city that is friendly to children.

Chibi in my home has become a little older brother, so I haven't taken care of the nursing room, but there is a new problem....

It's a toilet.

Because the infant is small, I can't sit in the adult toilet.
It's hard because I don't have enough feet....(´・ω・`)

If I thought it was, I found such a restroom in the underground passage in front of Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi! ! !

It's a washroom for infants! !

s51_01.jpg s51_02.jpg

A cute small size ^^

s51_03.jpg

Mr. Chibi can wash his hands easily.

It is difficult to explain the location, but when you exit the ticket gate of Tokyo Metro "Mitsukoshi-mae", the underground passage spreads out, and it is on the way to JR Shin-Nihonbashi Station.
It's in front of the underground entrance of "YUITO".

s51_06.jpg s51_07.jpg

If you don't have such a type depending on your child, please refer to it.☆
