Cherry blossoms are in full bloom on the Tsukishima River. "Spring Urara ..."

[kimitaku] April 17, 2017 14:00

The cherry blossoms are in full bloom on the Tsukishima River.

Many of the cherry blossoms remain buds, probably because of the cold days.

It may have been waiting for the arrival of a warm day.

  ・・・・・・・

Many houseboats are berthed on both banks.

Beyond the Tsukishima River Suimon is the Sumida River

On the other side, you can see the buildings of Sumitomo Triton Square.

 It's a weekday today.

It will entertain a lot of cherry blossom viewing customers on weekends.

The lyrics of Rentaro Taki's "Flower" seem to be perfect today.

Flower Festival Great Kannon-ji Temple

[Kra-san] April 10, 2017 18:00

April 8th is the day of the birth of the Buddha.

At Daikanonji Temple in Ningyocho, the “Flower Festival” event has been held every year.

ck1522-201704081.jpg

This year, the day of the birth of Buddha was Saturday, and a large number of people visited.

We make "Hanamido" decorated with flowers on the grounds and pour sweet tea into the standing statue in the hall to celebrate. There was also a special opening of main deity.

ck1522-201704082.jpg ck1522-201704083.jpg

On the day of the event, there was a service of sweet tea and Japanese sweets for worshipers, and a fun raffle where Ningyocho's masterpieces were served.

After visiting, you will receive an oval rice cracker and draw a speed lottery, and if you hit it, you can get various prizes from famous shops in Ningyocho. Even if the lottery is out, you can enjoy sweet tea and Japanese sweets in the tent below the stairs.

Sweet tea and Japanese sweets placed on a small tray were served, and sat down on a bench with red rugs and ate. Beside it, Ningyocho's character "Hitonosuke" was also charming.

It was sometimes a light rain day, but I felt refreshed when I worshiped.

There is a phoenix on the street lights on Miyuki Street.

[Shubo's Ten Hands] April 9, 2017 12:00

Phoenixes are lined up in a row.

DSCN0618 (2). JPGThe origin of the phoenix with golden wings spread is that during the Edo period, the Shogun was named as the road of Miyuki Miyuki when he went to Hamarikyu.

It is also said that during the Meiji era, His Majesty the Emperor was designated as a path for excursions to Naval Academy, Naval University, etc. (Tsukiji Market).

In the 1960s, young people who adopted Ibeelic walked around Miyuki Street. From there, the name of the "Miyuki tribe" was born.

Even today, there are many restaurants, clubs, shops, etc. with high thresholds. Ginza like Ginza.

Take a look at the street lights as well as shopping. It's quite elaborate.

Nihonbashi Kintoyorin

[Tachibana] April 6, 2017 09:00

I think many people know the "Karinto" shop where you can line up at Tokyo Station Gransta. The name of the shop is "Nihonbashi Kintoyorin". The main store of this shop opened in Nihonbashikodenmacho last November.

Actually, at the same time as the opening of this store, Gransta, there was no head office. Gransta was the first store. However, the seller's address on the back is Kodemmacho, and a customer who saw it sometimes came to Kodemmacho to buy it and searched for a shop.

The secret is that this shop has been a confectionery wholesaler for 120 years, and until the middle of Showa, the shop was opened in Kodemmacho. Since then, due to traffic conditions and other problems, the wholesale business headquarters has moved to Adachi-ku and is still operating.

It was a wholesaler, but we have been working on joint development of sweets with the manufacturer since then. One of them, "Karinto," was noticed by Gransta staff and opened a store, which was the catalyst for entering the retail sales of sweets.

This time, we opened the "Nihonbashi Kintoyorin" main store in Kodemmacho, the place where the wholesaler was operated until the middle of Showa.

My image of "Karinto" is the sweet seasoning of brown sugar, but I was surprised when I tried "Kinpira Gobo Karinto". Karinto, which has a spicy flavor of burdock and a spicy taste of seven flavors. However, it is an exquisite and new taste where you can feel the sweetness of karinto.

The burdock is mixed with the dough, and the shichimi is mixed with the sweetness to be coated.

There are also various other flavors of "Karinto", but each fabric is manufactured by trial and error on the optimal manufacturing method such as the time and thickness of the dough.

There are about 9 types of "Kinto" by Nihonbashi Kintoyorin, such as "Kinpira burdock", "Black Sugar", "Murasakiimo", and "Vegetables". In addition, there are seasonal products-"Sakura" now and limited products at each store-"Ume Wasabi" and "Mitarashi" at Soramachi store.

The flour of the dough is domestic, and the fried oil is also made with domestic rapeseed oil in order to make it healthy with a light taste.

In addition, Karinto is familiar to elderly people, but there are places where young people are a little unfamiliar, so when selling "Caramel Armon" and "Caramel Banana" Karinto for young people, it has been well received by young people I am. "Caramel" Karinto is in a slightly fashionable bag different from other "Karinto". There are also ideas to attract young people around here.

The Grandsta store is a specialty store of "Karinto", but the main store also has sweets such as rice crackers, castella, and okaki.

In addition, there is a set of "Karinto" suitable for gifts, as well as a stylishly wrapped "Karinto" that can be used for Valentine and White Day gifts.

Premium Friday (Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi)

[Tachibana] April 3, 2017 09:00

March 31st was Premium Friday.

Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi provided a lot of benefits for this day only, but one of them was that "If you buy more than ¥2,160, you can get Suntory Premium Maltz glass."
1mitsukosi5.jpg

Furthermore, at 4 o'clock we had a toast time with the landlady in Nihonbashi, and at this time even those who had no purchase were able to get beer and participate in the toast.

I was able to participate in the toast because I was lucky enough to be there.

Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi seems to have full premium benefits on Friday at the end of the month, so if you go to Mitsukoshi in April, there may be something good.
