From Ningyocho-dori St., enter the alley of Great Kannon Terawaki and cross the road ahead, and you will find a small alley called Geisha Shindo or Kogiku Dori.
The origin of this name is that there were several geisha okiya along this road.

In this alley, there are Kikuya, a model for the newcomer's restaurant "Matsuya", and Yoshiume Yoshicho-tei, a green onion pot. Yoshiume Yoshicho-tei is a building that became the residence of Kogiku Hanayagi, an actress who turned from geisha. Luxury designs are elaborated everywhere, such as lattices and ceilings, and the tsubo garden where red and white tea flowers are planted is also windy. It is designated as a registered Tangible Cultural Property.

This alley is a mysterious corner that seems to be Gion or Pontocho in Kyoto.

The first part of the Meijiza 140th anniversary performance, Fuyumi Sakamoto and Ayako Fuji performances arranges the work "Sab" by Shugoro Yamamoto and is performed in "Osanto Oshino".

It was a play full of humanity in downtown Edo, and it was a good play that can be seen seriously with the support of two master actors such as Hiroshi Katsuno, the second protagonist, Go Wakabayashi, Masao Orimo, and Akiko Kana.
The second part is "Winter Beauty and Ayako's Beautiful Showtime" by two singers.
Before performing the debut song, the exchange of the two before the performance of the drum, and the handling of Mr. Wintermi was very wonderful. Not only the songs they have, but also the crimson dresses that match the season of love, the silver road of the peanuts, and the song of Ayako Fuji's Manju Shaka were wonderful. A number of nostalgic songs were performed instead, and the costumes were changed each time, and it was a beautiful fashion & music show. I had a really good time. ・“I’m in love with you again.” 。 There's always a happy
ending. This special performance is until September 27th.
