The 28th Tenten Festival Children's smiles are full of play, and it is full of tenko.

[Ginzo] 12:00 on October 14, 2016

The 28th Tenten Festival was held on October 9 (Sun), and there were many fun games for children and many happy smiles of the children.

The first thing I photographed is the fight between children and ninjas. "Would you like to let Hitonosuke kill a sword?"

At amazake Yokocho, Kirin's pachinko game!

The ball that Mr. Kirin added. Which hole are you going into?

I did it! I'm glad you can exchange it for a prize!

The game for children is putter golf,

The children were very pleased that the game, "Which glass in the aquarium?", yo-yo fishing, and many other toys could be exchanged with vouchers. A little older child was trying to play shogi with adults.

Free amazake entertainment by everyone at amazake Yokocho. It was delicious.

There were commemorative photos in a fire truck wearing the uniforms of the Tokyo Fire Department, earthquake experiences in a seismic vehicle, and ladder cars. Little children are scared.DSC02215 (360x202). jpg

The 35th Chuo-ku Tourism Ambassador, Miss Chuo, also challenged the experience.

On the street, there were many delicious stalls that opened a famous restaurant in Ningyocho for adults.

Service value yakisoba 300 yen, Ningyocho Nichizan, Ningyocho steak 500 yen,

At other stores, beef stewed and Nihonbashi beer was also sold.

The members of the Nihonbashi Junior High School brass band rushed to the celebration and performed wonderfully.

In 2015, the brass band of the school won the marching band national junior high school (small organization) gold prize and the highest award by organization, as well as Tokyo, We actively participate in events in various places in Chuo-ku. Everyone at the festival venue was applauding of thunders.

Miss Chuo, the 35th Tourism Ambassador of Chuo-ku, smiled at the people of amazake Yokocho, and smiled at the support of the locals and the camera shutters.

The photo shows "Yes, cheese" in response to customer requests with wrestlers from the local Arashio Room, who have finished sumo wrestling with the children.

Today's main event. I was also in charge of the lottery lottery at the "Large Lottery".

This large lottery is very popular because there are many prizes that are very practical. The chosen daughter will surely be praised by her mother.

I was able to enjoy the festival in a very peaceful atmosphere.

After all, Ningyocho retains the personality of the downtown area. I loved Ningyocho more and more. Ginzo

I like "Bettarazuke" @ O Temmacho

[Nanako Tsukishima] 09:00 on October 13, 2016

On the afternoon of Saturday, 8th, I visited O Temmacho from Ningyocho, which is crowded with the 11th Ningyo City, while worrying about the rain.
On Ebisu Street in front of Hoda Ebisu Shrine, preparations such as decorating the Japanese lantern had begun for "Bettara City" to be held on 19th and 20th of this month.

By the way, it is "Bettarazuke", a specialty product that represents Chuo-ku, but the recognition seems to be one thing, and the correct answer rate was 19.7% in the Nikkei Shimbun "Tourism Quiz / Easy Local Taste" in August this year It was the lowest and a disappointing result. 52% of the respondents, especially young people, answered "Kyoto".
However, I recently discovered that "Piko Taro", a hot topic at PPAP, is performing "I like to pickle pickles". We hope that this will increase the number of people who are interested in "Bettarazuke".

By the way, the so-called story and history of "Bettarazuke and Bettara City" is described in detail in "Chuo-ku Monoshiri Encyclopedia", but we will tell you a little mini knowledge about "Ebisu-ko".

Ebisu, who has a remarkable fish sea bream, was an "absuance god" who did not go to Izumo in Kannazuki (October old calendar), where gods from all over Japan gather in Izumo.
Ebisu-ko worships this Ebisu-san, celebrates the safety of a year in various offerings, and prays for business prosperity, rich harvest, big fishing, etc. It seems to be held around the 20th of October or November nationwide.
Here is how the "Ebisu-ko" of Takarada Ebisu Shrine was held on October 19 and 20.

In the area of Ebisu Street, which is busy preparing for "Bettara City", cheerful shouts are flying around, and it is soon enough to be crowded with many customers. I'm looking forward to it.

It was an hour and a half that I knew and didn’t know.

On September 29 (Thursday), the previous week, I participated in the first "Edo Food in Ukiyo-e".

The lecturer was Shigeru Shinto, a permanent director of the International Ukiyo-e Society, who taught me a new perspective on Ukiyo-e, focusing on the food depicted in Ukiyo-e, which was extremely interesting.

This cultural course is a three-part series, the third one is October 13 (Thursday), and the theme is "Nihonbashi Sake and Food in Edo".

[Ginzo] 12:00 on October 11, 2016

Ningyocho's Ningyocho Ningyocho was held for three days on October 6, 7, and 8, and was very lively.

We visited the store where the store was opened on the 6th and 7th, and saw a number of wonderful dolls and cute dolls.

And the local “Shitamachi Fun Crafts Museum” in Ningyocho also exhibited in addition to dolls, practical folk crafts.

There were various people who came and went, including those who came to buy Ningyocho's "doll ware" and those who came to buy maternity dresses.

Wakayama Antenna Shop "Ikora"

[The Minnie Cricket] 14:00 on October 8, 2016

In October, the antenna shop stamp rally in the ward will be held as an event for the annual Chuo-ku Tourism and Commerce Festival. In addition to the antenna shops opened this year, the Nihonbashi Nagasakikan (March) and the Nihonbashi Toyamakan (June), the Wakayama Kishukan Tokyo Nihonbashi Store Ikora is also the target of stamp rally.

The period is from Thursday, October 6 to 20 (Thu)

ikora007.JPG

"Wakayama Kishukan Tokyo Nihonbashi Store Ikora" is an antenna shop in Wakayama that opened in July this year, near the Mizutengumae intersection in Nihonbashiningyocho.

It is made of wood from Kishu with open glass.

ikora02.JPG

It seems that "Ikora" means "Let's go" in Wakayama dialect

ikora008.JPG

When you enter the shop, you will be full of seafood from Wakayama, seafood from mountains, processed products, and specialty products.

Today, I purchased Minamikoume and Kanayamaji miso from a wide variety of items. Both are classics of Wakayama

ikora005.JPG

It is "Kishu Nanko Umekiyo Ume Koume Honey"

ikora002.JPG

"Kishu Yuasa specialty Marushin Honke Kanayamaji miso side dish miso"

ikora003.JPG

Yuasa in Kishu is said to be the birthplace of soy sauce and the birthplace of Kanayamaji miso.

By the way, soy sauce is made from the soup sinking at the bottom of the miso barrel during the production process of Kinzanji miso.

ikora006.JPG

In both cases, the rice progresses and the taste is undoubtedly progressing.

ikora009.JPG

Business hours are from 10:00 to 20:00, and Saturday, Sunday and public holidays are until 19:00.
