On New Year's Day, the Seven Lucky Gods Tour in Nihonbashi

[Apricot peony] December 31, 2012 09:00

"Nihonbashi Seven Lucky Gods Tour" has become an annual event.
This is the 28th time in 2013.

ck1203_1212261.jpg

Until now, I have visited each of them in Betara City, prayers for safe delivery, town walking tours in Chuo-ku, etc., but I never had Seven Lucky Gods at once, so I would like to participate this time.

If you enjoy the bustle of the New Year's Day in Ningyocho, you will be able to get it at once!
No, not only that, but also walking for about 1 hour and 30 minutes, so it may be effective (a little) for dieting?

From 10:30 am on January 4th, participation will be accepted on the 1st floor of the main building of Mitsukoshi Nihonbashi Main Store (Muromachiguchi), so why not join us?

By the way, it is the "Seven Lucky Gods" that goes around the eight shrines because both Hoda Ebisu Shrine and Sugimori Shrine are Ebisu God.
I think it would be more fun if you look around while looking at the auspiciousness and origin of each shrine.

Reception is until 2:00 p.m.
It will be canceled in case of rain.

Time slip in the Edo period at Nihonbashi Ningyocho Sako Luo (Sakura)

[kimitaku] December 30, 2012 09:00

Get off at Ningyocho Station on the Hibiya Line in the direction of Kodemmacho, proceed at the intersection toward Kanda, and turn left at the second intersection.

If you go shortly, you will find Nihonbashi Elementary School and Nihonbashi Library on your right.

This place was Saigo Takamori's residence in the Meiji era, and Ginza of the Shogunate was located around the Edo era.

Behind the elementary school, there is a kimono shop "Sako Luo" on the first floor of the left building.

sakurajyosei.jpg The elegant shop was run by a couple, and both of them were dressed in kimono.

It has been several decades since it opened here in Ningyocho. The atmosphere is as it is, a time slip in the Edo period.

In the shop, many cloths are displayed neatly and you want to pick them up.

・・・ I asked my husband in detail about kimono.

kiji.jpgWhat is a tailoring?

First, measure the dimensions of the customer's body. I measure it with a measure called whale shaku.

Dimensions are as large as men. Increase the dimensions by 3 minutes and add 5 parts to measure the dimensions.

In the past, many people were used as everyday clothes and shortened to make it easier to move. It is said that this is the main thing.

There is also a customer's preference, but the kimono varies greatly depending on each dress.

syokenco-komon.jpg

It seems that the length is different depending on how you take it.

Even under the coherence or when it comes to collapse, if the collar comes out and pulls it, it's easy to fix it.

I hear you have some promises to go to a kimono. If you keep it, you will be able to wear it beautifully and comfortably.

: : : Also, the wonderful thing about kimono is that if you unravel all the kimono threads, it will completely return to the original cloth.

It seems that it can be said to be the essence of ecology today. : : :

<Notes> Antimonos: : It is a fabric that tailors one kimono, its unit. Whale Shaku: : A unit for measuring objects, one shaku is a 5-minute (about 38 cm) of a curved shaku, originally a measure made of whale beards. Covenant: : The lower part of the collar

For more information, please see the homepage of "Sako Luo" (basic knowledge until tailoring).

It's really kind enough to explain. Beginner, a must-see for researchers.

sakurasyujinn.jpg When I asked my husband about the kimono situation, it is said that the number of kimono creators has now decreased.

Now, I can't eat it in kimono making, and in Kyoto where I recently visited, some people are taxi drivers.

He was a skillful traditional craftsman of Nishijin.

The master said that there were almost no spelling craftsmen or old traditional heirs, and that it was deplorable.

There is also a traditional craft that makes a cut on each finger's claw, passes it through it, and weaves it. It seems that the tradition from Nara period is now gone like a light of fire.

At the kimono shop "Sako Luo"

It is said that a "Kimono Training Class" is being held.
It is also said that "Introductory Course for Kimono Study" is also being held.

If you want to know more about kimono, please come and visit us.

It seems that kimonos offer special products that are a bit different from other stores.

My husband said that he would like to visit us at any time, and that he would like to share this wonderful kimono culture to as many customers as possible.

From Chuo-ku, Oishi built-in assistants

[Yotaro] December 29, 2012 09:00

"I eat rice with a lawyer in winter and a ghost in summer." December is said to be at the time of writing by a lecturer, but Yoshiko Ako entered the Honjo Kira House and raised the head of Kira Uenosuke in 1702. It is before dawn of December 15, 1703 (January 31, 1703).

Historic sites related to the defeat of Gishi in Chuo-ku include the ruins of the Asano Family Kamiyashiki (Akashicho), President Hiroshi Asano Hiro residence (Ginza 4), Shinroku Hazama Tomb (Tsukiji Honganji), Yasushi Horibe Monument (Hachichobori 1), etc. It is not a historic site, but it is from Honsho to Sengakuji Temple. In addition, it is said that there were three hiding destinations in the ward in the mansion (Higashibashi 2), Ishimachi 3-chome, Minami Hatchobori, etc. after the blade wound incident of Yahee Horibe and Yasubei.

It was Koyamaya Yahee back store on the south side of Ishimachi 3-chome that the Oishi built-in assistant and the main tax hiding until the defeat. Koyamaya is a so-called public inn used by those who visit Edo for lawsuits, and it is quite prosperous, and such places will not be noticeable. Entered Edo in September before the Oishi chief tax was debated, stayed in Koyamaya under the name of Sauchi Kakimi, who came to the public lawsuit, and built-in assistant joined in November as his uncle Gorobei Kakimi. In addition, several ronins, including Touchi Onodera, gather here, and Koyamaya becomes the center of preparation for the defeat.

Speaking of Ishimachi 3-chome, "Time Bell" and "Nagasakiya" at the time of Capitan Edo Sanfu in the Netherlands are famous, but Koyamaya is also said to have been partially used as Dutch dormitory. It's fun to imagine those who say, "Is this the place where Oishi lived?"

By the way, where was Koyamaya at Ishimachi 3-chome? According to the book of the book, "It was in the current 4-1 Nihonbashi Honmachi", "It was in a place connecting the eaves with Nagasakiya (4-4 Nihonbashi Muromachi)", "Kokumachi right opposite Koyamaya There was a bell, "(Tempura no) Tenshi Shigeru's place (4-1-3 Nihonbashi Honmachi) ... " All of these are on the north side of Kokumachi Street (now Edo-dori St.). (Ishimachi 3-chome is a so-called two-sided town, and is made on both north and south sides across the street. According to the current lot number, the north side is 4-4 Nihonbashi Muromachi and 4-1 Nihonbashi Honmachi, and the south side is Nihonbashi Muromachi 3-4 and Nihonbashi Honmachi 3-3. ) However, one of the forty-seven men, Kichiemon Terasaka's memorandum "Terasaka Myki" states "Ishimachi 3-chome south or Koyamaya Yahee back store", so amateurs think that it would be natural to say that it was on the south side I'm thinking. I would appreciate it if you could give me a detailed explanation.

Oishi and others who headed from Koyamaya to Honjo Kira's residence finally get their true spirits. It seems that the cold weather was particularly severe at the end of this year. Oishi is said to be cold, but it will have reached a new year with a full and full feeling.

[Photo] View east of Edo-dori St. and Muromachi Sanchome intersection.

On the left side (north side), there is an explanation board of Nagasakiya ruins.

Takao Inari Shrine

[Orii Mai] December 21, 2012 08:30

Takao Inari Shrine 002.JPG Takao Inari Shrine 007.JPG

Takao Inari Shrine is located at 10-7, Nihonbashi-Hakozakicho, Chuo-ku.

Takao Inari Shrine is a place where the body of the prostitute Dayu Takao of the Edo period was repatriated, and her divine spirit

It is said that it originated from the worship of Takao Daimyojin and the actual divine spirit is the enshrined deity.

 According to the "Origin" board

Manji 2nd year (1659) December, a prostitute with Shirozaemon Miuraya, 1-chome Shinyoshiwara-Kyocho, a flower town in Edo

It is the highest rank of the prostitute named Dayu Takao, the second generation of the prostitute, and it sounds like a beautiful appearance and squeaks in the Zemin Isei.

It is said that he was good at Waka haikai, and his calligraphy was outstanding, familiar with various arts, and played an unparalleled heyday.

The birthplace was the daughter of Yasu Shiobara Shiobara Shiogama Village Farmer Chosuke, who was 19 years old at the time.

Takao was favored by the prince of Tsunamune Date, Sendai feudal lord, and was asked for a large sum of money.

There was a person who was intent, maneuvered and did not follow the prince, so he finally bought anger and was at the Sumida River Mitamata (now the present)

It was hung on a tower boat around Nakashu) and abandoned in Kawanaka.

A few days later, the body drifted ashore on the banks of Kita-Niihori in Okawabata, and had a hermitage there.

It is said that the monk repatriated it and buried it thickly.

Daimyojin divine spirit Takao, who built a company there and built her company in the lovely end of Takao.

It was the origin of our company that worshiped and made Takao Inari Shrine.

At present, this company is very rare in Japan for Inari, and the actual divine spirit (real skull) is enshrined deity.

It is enshrined in the shrine.

Many people come to worship from the Edo period to the early Showa period, and there are stalls in fair.

It was prospered. (Hakozaki Kita-Shinbori Town Association)

It was a woman's pity at that time.
