Green alley space

[Sam] April 12, 2010 18:58

CIMG0629S.JPGCIMG1178SS.JPGIn March 2009, Chuo-ku formulated the "Chuo-ku Green Basic Plan".

In addition to the “green coverage” (currently 9.1% ⇒ target 12%) indicating the total amount of greenery, the “green visibility ratio” (currently 37.6% ⇒ target 50%) as an index that allows you to feel the richness of greenery such as street trees and wall greening. We aim to realize "Midori Ichikatsu "Urban Oasis".

One of the features of Chuo-ku is that there are many small alleys that have escaped the earthquake and war damage along with the wide roads. In the alleyways, local residents can see the planting of potted plants, bonsai, planters, etc. using empty spaces. In addition, at Ishikawajima Park, etc., there is also a way to use a greening space using the back of the seawall. Based on the actual situation of the region, it is hoped that the greening of the alley space will be inherited as a local culture along with the promotion of such development in alleys and green roads.

Even if the cityscape changes and the generation of the residents changes, the back alley is alive.

The scenery seen beyond the alley is changing so much that it can be overlooked.

The back alley with a nostalgic smell of life.

Why don't you rediscover the place of relaxation and moisture for people, and the alley space of Midori?

Promenade at the site of Kaikaikan and secret places

[The cat on the slope] April 12, 2010 16:23

From famous tourist spots such as Sumiyoshi-jinja Shirine and Nishinaka-dori.

Perhaps because it's a bit far away, there are not many visitors, but

Along the revetment facing the Harumi Canal at Tsukuda 3-chome can be said to be a well-known promenade.

There is a monument to the site of the Kaikaikan. Kaikaikan was established in 1905.

This is the Kappo cuisine Ryokan. At that time, Tokyo Bay spread out in front of you, and you can see the mountains of Boso.

It was said that many cultural people stayed at Kaikaikan because it was a scenic place.

Toson Shimazaki's "Spring" and Kaoru Osanai's "Okawabata" are works born here.

"Let's see the winter sea and make the New Tsukuda Sea Water Museum wabi live."

(From Isamu Yoshii, songbook "Poison Utsugi")

And there is another highlight that is never listed in the guidebook.

Along the inside of the revetment, there are mini gardens as far as the eye can see.

Seasonal flowers are planted in each block.

It would be fun to walk while comparing it to the next block.

Use this kind of seawall, which is only a concrete fence, to enjoy the enjoyment of eco and horticulture.

What is it? It is a hat to the flexible ideas and aesthetics of the local people.

You can see an airship in the sky of Chuo-ku

[Yurikamome] April 11, 2010 21:57

On April 11th, the airship "Zeppelin NT" started regular sightseeing. (On the 10th, Commemoration Ceremony)

Aircrafts with a total length of 75 meters can be seen from anywhere in Chuo-ku, but may you not be able to see them if you are disturbed by the building? ?

The departure and arrival site was built at the planned Olympic facility in Harumi, Chuo-ku.

If you go to Harumi Terminal, you will see takeoff and landing right near you.

It takes about 20 minutes to take the bus bound for Harumi Wharf from Marunouchi South Exit of Tokyo Station.

Even if there is a malfunction, the "airship" will not crash due to the buoyancy of Heluum gas.

In the photo below, "Conan" crosses the Rainbow Bridge and is just before landing at Harumi Pier.

The Antarctic observation ship "Shirase" and the airship "Zeppelin NT" that are anchored at Harumi Wharf can be photographed together.

 I'm here.

Antarctic observation ship "Shirase" has returned to Harumi Wharf this morning (around 9:50).

I left Harumi Wharf on November 10, last year, but fulfilled my five-month mission and greeted me in full spring.

I did it.

The 50th South Pole Regional Observation Winter Squad and the 51st South Pole Regional Observation Summer Squad should return by air from Sydney on March 19th.

"A highlight of cherry blossoms", recommended walking course of silver made

[Silver] April 6, 2010 09:00

On April 3, I went out to Asakusa for a while. Get off at Takaramachi and go through Sakuragawa Park and Minami Takahashi.

I saw Okawabata from water level station, Reigishi Island. The anchor in front of the photo is a monument of Edo Minato.

CIMG4347.jpg

From Chuo-ohashi Bridge, you can see the mouth of the Sumida River. It is 13 on the map of cherry blossoms.

CIMG4359.jpg

I passed through the row of cherry blossom trees at Tsukuda Park and went to Sumiyoshi-jinja Shirine.

CIMG4362.jpg

From Tsukuda Kobashi, you can taste the taste of downtown.

CIMG4363.jpg

From Tsukuda-ohashi Bridge, you can see Akashicho Riverside Park. It's map 12.

CIMG4368.jpg

You can see Okawabata from the banks of Akashicho in St. Luke's Tower.

CIMG4373.jpg

Enter the St. Luke's Tower and take a break.

Let's go to St. Luke Hospital and walk along Akashicho Ryokudo. The highlight map is 11.

CIMG4376.jpg

It is said that "Is it a cherry blossom that I can't see for three days?", But in the future, "turmeric" and "satozakura" will be in full bloom around the 9th. There was still a bud weeping cherry tree. There is a green fruit next tocherry the Akashicho bus stop! Tsukuda Park and Akashicho Riverside Park can also enjoy "azaleas" from the latter half of April.lovely

Women's college students who came from Gifu on April 1 were encouraged to take a walk from Kachidokibashi to Akashicho Riverside Park, Tsukuda Park and Tsukishima Monja Street. Well, everyone, please enjoy the spring.

Sky Tree with Spring Scenery

[Shitamachi Tom] April 6, 2010 09:00

2010.4.3 Tsukuda (2) JPG Cherry blossoms are in full bloom in central Tokyo this weekend. I was invited cheerfully and walked to [River City] on Tsukuda Island.

cherryblossomA bright light pink book spreads along the Sumida River, creating a view of spring. Over the Chuo-ohashi Bridge, you can see the distant [Tokyo Sky Tree] hazy. There were cheerful family and friends around the area.

In the changing scenery of Tokyo, I want to enjoy the season in various places in Chuo-ku.scissors
