[Dye] 14:00 on October 31, 2016

It's getting chilly day by day.
There are many days when I go out, and I feel like I want to go somewhere with my little boy ^ ^

By the way, Chuo-ku is easy to raise children and I feel every day that it is a city that is friendly to children, but
An attractive event will be held at Harumi Triton Square on November 3rd (Thursday / holiday)!

Cleanup storage course, food education course, Hokatsu-za meeting, couple's house share workshop...
And this is the theme of this disaster prevention experience.

It seems that you can make disaster prevention lights made only of water, sample disaster prevention food, and experience lifesaving training.
Previously, I had a lifesaving course at a fire department, but I don't have the opportunity to learn about specializing in children, so I would like to go by all means.

Chuo-ku Events in October

[Oldrose] 14:00 on October 31, 2016

This month, we had a lot of fun at the Chuo-ku event.

One was three lectures on "Edo's Food" at Nihonbashi Elementary School.

In the story of Mr. Takeo Koizumi's `` Bansen Competition '', a barrel boat loaded with sake from Nishinomiya Osaka was competing with `` Yoyon '' aiming for Edo Minato and which ship would first arrive off Shinagawa off the coast of Shinagawa. It seems that.

The U.K. also had the Tea Clipper Race, and there was a race to transport tea from China to U.K.

young sake must have been swept in barrels this season.

The Nihonbashi area probably had a lot of sake brewery.

The second is the "Chuo-ku Marugoto Museum" on the 30th.

I became a correspondent of the Chuo-ku Tourism Association, and for the first time I tried a bus guide.

Sometimes I heard a voice from behind me saying, "Oh, that's right," and I was very happy to hear the reaction.

I'll try it again next year.

Flower Carpet Harumi 2016 Until 16:00 on November 1

[Ginzo] 09:00 on October 31, 2016

Before the evening of October 29, a very beautiful flower carpet was completed on the cherry blossom promenade at Harumi Triton Square.

You can see it until 16:00 on November 1st.

DSC02872 (360x202). jpg

This year's theme is "Thank you for the power of flowers-Flower carpet of space and time". We will report the leaflet of the explanation you received along with the photos. (I'm sorry I couldn't write the whole piece.)

①Japanese crest emblem

DSC02876 (360x202). jpg

In the explanation of the leaflet, "We adopt traditional Japanese patterns used for congratulations as Kichijomon. It is said to be a tree where the god of rice cultivation dwells, and it has the meaning of rich harvest, and it is the beginning of things because it is reminiscent of spring and sprouts, and it is said to be very auspicious "cherry blossoms" and "ume" = "birth". There is also a meaning, and it is stylized with a Japanese pattern inspired by a Japanese pattern inspired by "ume" that captures auspicious luck. ]

②Tradition

DSC02882 (360x202). jpg

"The motif of Katsushika Hokusai's Ukiyo-e represents Harumi, the gateway to the sea. The people who live on the shores of the big swelling waves and Mount Fuji represent the origins of the Japanese people."

③Present

DSC02886 (360x202). jpg

I was very energetic and thought it was a work that expressed Harumi today.

④Future

DSC02906 (360x202). jpg

DSC02892 (360x202). jpg

"Harumi, the gateway to the sea of Tokyo, is represented by Mizuno flow. The flow of water eventually grew into a large tree, and Harumi became a flower island full of flowers and greenery. The ball passed between athletes and animals is passed on to the children of the world, creating the future.”

⑤Fusion of coat of arms

In addition, a flower carpet of a work commemorating the 150th anniversary of the birth of Beatrix Potter, the creator of Peter RabbitTM, was also shown.

In addition, since the flower carpet will be lit up until 23:00 on October 31, please enjoy the lit up flower carpet at night.

We took a walk near the Olympic Village planned site.

[kimitaku] 18:00 on October 28, 2016

As you walk toward Harumi Wharf, a vast vacant lot spreads out.

DSC_1547.JPG

As you can see on the signboard, this is the planned site of the Olympic Village.

DSC_1544.JPG

In the middle of construction work in the planned site.

This time we headed to the Central Cleaning Center.

When you go up the stairs of the center, there is a small park.

DSC_1555.JPG DSC_1553.JPG

If you look at the right hand, you can see the Toyomi Ohashi Bridge under construction.

DSC_1552.JPG

Route 2, which is under construction from Ohashi to Tsukiji Ohashi on the left, continues.

To the left is Asashio Kobashi on the canal, and to the left is Takeshiba Pier. There was a big ship in there.

The scenery changes every time the day goes by.

It is only four years until the Tokyo Olympics in 2020.

It is also recommended to take a leisurely and spacious walk around the planned site during the autumn break.

There is also a bus stop near the Central Cleaning Center, and it is recommended to use a bus for strolling. The name of the bus stop is "Hot Plaza Harumi".

Winter birds have arrived! mallard northern pintail gull

[Usako of Tsukuda] 14:00 on October 24, 2016

The other day, I heard on TV the news that a swan came in. It was 4 days earlier than usual. When will northern pintail and Japanese gulls come here at Ishikawajima Park on the Sumida River? I, who became a hobby of bird watching this year, unfortunately, have no past data.

On October 12, you can see a different silhouette from the usual Indian spot-billed duck! What is it?

One mallard male and two northern pintail females! It's been seven months since I couldn't see it in March.

Yu mallard, called Eclipse, is a sober shade before it grows into beautiful feathers during the breeding season. When it grows, the head turns green.

October 20: Eitai Bridge is also located. jpg

On October 20, we were able to see 2 male northern pintail! She looks very different from the female. These males have grown into breeding feathers.

Two males. jpgTwo males and the water surface. jpg

On October 22nd, a bird in the capital of Tokyo, a Japanese gull, finally arrived! ! It's been five months since I crossed in May. There is no distinction between males and females.

Winter birds come to Japan for wintering from Siberia. While in Japan, males are changing their feathers beautifully to find a marriage partner. I'm glad you can see a beautiful look.

From now on, the number of northern pintail, the gulls and the mallard will increase, and the variety will be added to Eurasian wigeon, Hoshihajilo, and tufted duck. I'm looking forward to it.
