Sumida River Terrace _Chuo-ohashi Bridge

[Slow of Satsuki's Koi] July 28, 2018 18:00

This is the site of the Tsukuda Island ferry port that I mentioned last time at Tsukuda-ohashi Bridge. As you can see in the explanation, there are the same monuments on both banks of the Sumida River, Tsukuda and Minato.

If you go through Tsukuda-ohashi Bridge, you will find water level station on the opposite bank. It has a unique shape, so you can easily see it. Located at the confluence of the Sumida River and the Kamejima River, the sluice gate in the photo is the Kamejima River sluice gate. This was also included in this year's examination.

By the way, you can see the modern beauty supported by the wire that Chuo-ohashi Bridge is approaching.

Cross the bridge and head toward Shinkawa, this is a great photo spot, and many people take pictures of Eitai Bridge in the background of the Sky Tree in earnest with a tripod.

Another thing I would like you to look at is the messenger statue. It was given by Jack Sirak, the mayor of Paris at the time to commemorate the friendly river between the Sumida River and the Paris Seine. It is said that Tokyo donated a houseboat as a thank you.

As soon as you cross the bridge and go right along the Sumida River, there is a cherry blossom that blooms early nearby and blooms more than one month earlier every year. It seems to be called "kawazu-zakura" and blooms from late January to February.

Shinkawa Park between Chuo-ohashi Bridge and Eitai Bridge is a famous spot for cherry blossoms.

Next time, we will go through Shinkawa Park to Eitai Bridge.

This season's fourth Indian spot-billed duck parent and child

[The Rabbit of Tsukuda] July 28, 2018 09:00

This is a rabbit who plays birdwatching at Ishikawajima Park in Tsukuda. On July 13, I met the fourth Indian spot-billed duck parent and child this season. This time, after 3 hours of tracking, I would like to introduce some of them.

There are two chicks. Inside the fence of the Sumida River Terrace, the flow of the river and the waves of the ship are gentle and safe.

I'm swimming. jpg

However, when a sudden appearance small high-speed leisure boat rolled up a high wave, the chicks were bitten by the waves. My body has been soaked and the chick's hair has lost its buoyancy. The mother then guided the chicks to the Sumida River Terrace.

For some time he was wandering around looking for a cozy place, but he set up in the middle of promenade. The promenade on the Sumida River Terrace is a natural bedrock bath that is warmed by the sun! You're smart. Mother Indian spot-billed duck had such wisdom.

Below the mother's stomach is the best safety zone.

You must have dried well. He also showed me the cute feathers of the chicks.

Do you have wings? .jpg

The human world is also extremely hot, so if you hydrate properly, you can do it.

I went back to the Sumida River.

Also next year, I'm looking forward to the chicks becoming parents and appearing on the Sumida River Terrace in Ishikawajima Park.

Monjayaki from Tsukishima

[Yo-chan] July 27, 2018 18:00

1 History of Monjayaki

Monjayaki, which represents the food culture of downtown, is not a unique food of Tsukishima, but its history dates back to the Edo period. As you can see in Kawayanagi of "Shofu Yanagi Tadome", "Text Yakiya that cannot be written with a scoop brush", children wrote letters on an iron plate with dough dissolved in soup stock and ate while remembering, It seems that the roots are called character ware. Through the pre-war period in downtown Tokyo, children pour only a bowl of flour dissolved in water into water on an iron plate, and seasoned with prepared sauces and blue seaweed, and little by little with a small spatula It is a snack for children offered at a candy store. The taste and quantity that matched the taste of adults was the beginning of the Yoshimi family, which opened in 1954 after the war. "Iroha" in 1955, "Kabuki" in 1956, "Joshuya" in 1965, and "Hide" in 1966 will open. At this time, there were 5 to 6 kinds of ingredients such as cabbage, pork, squid, soba, shrimp, etc. In the mid-1970s, there were around 5 monjayakiya, and in the late 1980s, there were 10 houses. With the opening of the subway Yurakucho Line in 1988 and the opening of the subway Oedo Line in 2000, several stores devised new menus with ideas and originality, and began to devise creative tastes. Was. In addition, with the interest of the media and gourmet, Tsukishima has been operating more than 80 stores on Monja Street, commonly known as Monja Street, which is about 500 meters radius of Nishinakadori Shopping Street. [Russian Year in Japan] Russian culture to enjoy in Chuo-ku

[Hanes] July 21, 2018 18:00

Hello. This is a new correspondent, Hanes.
It was in the second half of July, and it was time for summer vacation at both company and school.
Some of you may be traveling far away.Airplane
This time, "Do you need an airplane? Continuing from the Greek and Italian excursions
Here are some recommended spots where you can enjoy Russia in Chuo-ku.

◼️ Russian-Soviet Union Film Festival
From July 10, the opening of the National Film Archive was held as a Russian year 2018 in Japan.
The "Russian Soviet Union Film Festival" is being held as follows.

Period July 10, 2018 (Tuesday)-August 5 (Sunday) ※Closed Monday
Venue: National Film Archive Nagase Memorial Hall OZU (2nd floor)
Website: 2018 Russian-Soviet Union Film Festival in Japan commemorating the opening of the National Film Archives

DSC_2522.JPG

This film festival reflects socialism, war, emperors, and other social situations and ideas at the time of film production.
A lot of real works have been shown.
Some photos were taken at evacuation sites during the war, and completed after temporary suspension of photography.
Due to the pressure of the powers, it is difficult to disclose the information....He said
It is an interesting lineup not only for the content of the movie but also for the production background.

I am a novel by the Nobel Prize-winning author Mikhail Shorohov, which was screened on the 14th.
I've been watching movies based on "Human's fate (Original title: Звукava).
The protagonist, who was forced to suffer both physically and mentally due to the outbreak of World War II....
Despite the darkness of Russian literature in the 20th century, it is possible to do so.
It is a work with a strong message that is familiar to the present day, such as "I live strongly in any adversity in thinking of my family."
Also, it was the first director's work of Bondarchuk, who played the main character, and so on.
For those who like movies, I think you can enjoy it from another angle.

◼️ Russian cuisine
There are several restaurants in Chuo-ku where you can eat Russian cuisine.
One of the most important things is the Russian restaurant logoski.

Location: Ginza 5-7-10 EXITMELSA (Igjit Melsa) 7F
Business hours Please check the official website.

DSC_2488.JPG

It seems that this is Japan's first Russian restaurant founded in 1951.

DSC_2490.JPG

Not to mention Russian classics, piroshiki, borscich, and tsuboyaki.
Perimeni (water dumplings), recommended for those who are not familiar with Russian cuisine.
Nishin (Milfeuille-style salad) and Brinui (Russian pancake) wearing fur coats are also available!

Piroshiki can take out, and there is also a nice service for those who are in a hurry.
This time, I tried to take out piroshiki, a vegetable that reminds me of Russian home cooking with sour cream.

There is also a mushroom sauteed with vegetables.
When I was warmed and eaten, the flavor of sour cream was enhanced and it was delicious.

◼️ Image of Messenger
When it comes to Russian movies and cooking, I came to mind as a Russian-born person related to Chuo-ku.
Ossip Zackin, a sculptor who created the "Messenger Statue" at Chuo-ohashi Bridge!
(* I am from Russia during the Russian Empire era, so my hometown belongs to Belarusi.)

IMG_9735.JPG

This statue was exhibited at the Paris World Exposition in 1937 and is considered one of his masterpieces.
It was also presented by Paris to commemorate the friendship between the Sumida River in Tokyo and the Seine in Paris.
Because he was based in Paris, the image of France may be strong.

So far, we have introduced three spots related to Russia.
This summer, when exchanges with Russia are booming as the “Russian Year in Japan” are booming.
Why don't you experience Russian culture with your five senses in Chuo-ku?

"marche of the Sun" first "Night marche"

[Sam] July 20, 2018 18:00

P7141455ELS'.jpgDSC06786RS'G.jpg The marche of the Sun is one of Japan's largest urban marche, which combines "eat, buy, learn and experience" held at Tsukishima Daini Children's Park on the second Sunday of every month.

At the blue sky market, which started in September 2013, about 100 stores from all over Japan open each time with the theme of local vegetables from all over Japan, seasonal and seasonal ingredients.

In July, under the theme of "Beer marche", a collection of fragrant craft beer with hops and German cuisine that matches beer with a kitchen car will be gathered.

The first nighttime marche in the history of marche, was held only at night, with eight kitchen cars and ten merchandise stores, from 18:00 to 21:00 on the 14th.

You can enjoy marche in a different atmosphere.

Tokyo Sky Tree from Harumi Bridge

[kimitaku] July 18, 2018 18:00

Cross Asashio Ohashi from Tsukishima Subway Station.

From this place overlooking the Harumi Canal to the left and the direction of Toyosu.

・・・You can see the Tokyo Sky Tree very well. ・・・

kimitaku20180718_1.JPG

Looking far from the canal to the left, Aioi Bridge and from Nakanoshima Island to Eitai Bridge.

There is also a dock in the foreground. Behind the canal is a storage area.

In front of Aioi Bridge is also the place where the Kaikaikan was located long ago.

・・I wondered if there was such a good view in Chuo Ward. ・・

kimitaku20180718_2.JPG

On a clear day, the silhouette of the Sky Tree is particularly beautiful.

Up to Harumi Bridge

From Tsukishima Station on the subway, you can cross the Asashio Ohashi Bridge in a 15-minute walk.
