Japanese white-eye in Tsukiji River Park's Hananoki and Sunlight (Sakura)

[Yurikamome] March 31, 2011 08:30

I took a walk in Tsukiji River Park, recommended by Mr. Ginzo.

The flower bed was full of flowers, and many people were invited cheerfully and enjoyed it.

2011_0330 Flowerbed in Tsukiji River Park 0028.JPG   It was completely different compared to two weeks ago.

The white willow was bright.

Tokyo Waterside Cruise: A Wish for Reconstruction in the Bridge 90 Years Ago

[The cat on the hill] March 28, 2011 08:45

I experienced a Sumida River cruise using the ticket of the "Tokyo Waterside Line" at the raffle of Riverside Autumn Festa introduced in a blog post last September. Actually, I thought that after waiting for the cherry blossoms to bloom, but due to the expiration date, it was a little earlier cherry blossom viewing cruise.

We chose the "Ryogoku Odaiba Cruise" course. Boarding from Ecchu Island in front of St Luke's Garden → Hamarikyu → Odaiba Kaihinkoen → Hamarikyu → In front of St Luke's Garden → Etchujima → Both countries → Sakurabashi → I'll go around with both countries.

There are also various other courses, and there are temporary boats depending on the season. For more information, please visit the Tokyo Waterside Line website.

Take a leisurely ride on a warm boat to Odaiba. The spacious seat is comfortable and seems to fall asleep. On the way back, I went out to the deck on board with cold weather to take a picture.

You know Rainbow Bridge. The distance between the two main towers that support the bridge is 11 mm wider at the top than at the base, but this is because the earth is round. You can feel the size of the scale.

(Upper) As we head upstream to Kachidokibashi, Chuo-ohashi Bridge, Kiyosu Bridge, Skytree is gradually visible.

(bottom) In Sakurabashi, it is so close.

On the way, I went under a lot of bridges. Of these, Komagata Bridge, Kuramae Bridge, and Umaya Bridge were built as part of a reconstruction plan after the Great Kanto Earthquake. During this time, many other bridges were built on the Sumida River. About 2 weeks from Great East Japan Earthquake. The road to recovery is difficult, but when I learned that people 90 years ago built many bridges after the Great East Japan Earthquake, I was looking up at the Skytree rising in the blue sky, remembering the song "Bridge to Tomorrow".

Departure of a black gull

[Yurikamome] March 16, 2011 08:30

Winter birds that came from Kamchatka in the fall spend winter in Japan and fly away from here and there.

Today, on the way home from shopping, I saw off the gulls departing from dike from Tsukiji in Kachidokibashi.

On the right side of this photo, there were more squirrels.

When I thought, "I can't fly easily ..." I flew all at once.

"canola flower" and "Plum" competition <Hamarikyu Onshi Garden>

[Sam] March 15, 2011 08:30

RIMG2510LS.JPG RIMG2497RS.JPG   View of Hamarikyu Onshi Garden from the 46th floor of the DENTSU Head Office Building.

A yellow carpet woven by 300,000 "canola flower" in a flower garden of about 3,000 square meters (according to the Tokyo Metropolitan Bureau of Construction, "Kurokawa" and "Fushimi" of cold-flowered flowers) shines in spring sunlight.

The neighboring Umebayashi, where flowering had been delayed, was finally in full bloom.

In the middle ring of double-flowered, which gives various flowers to one tree, red, light red, aperture, and white, "Kenkyo" is a large double-flowered large flower that is said to have been favored by the 11th Shogun Ienari (It is said that it was named because it was surprised when the flower figure was large), "Yaeage wings" with red and double-flowered branches and calyxes, and "green calyx" with yellow-green and neat impression are in full bloom.
