Around Tsukiji Market Exploring Naval-related Facilities I

[wombat] April 27, 2013 14:00

On a chilly spring day, we explored naval-related facilities around Tsukiji Market.

The process is as follows. This time, I would like to show you the details.

Tsukiji Market Station: Tokyo Metropolitan Central Wholesale Market Tsukiji Market ... Yuonen Ruins ...

The birthplace of the Navy: The main pillar of Kaiyuki Bridge: Namishi Inari Shrine: The site of a warship training center

・・・ Ruins of Tsukiji Hotel Building: Monument of Naval Accounting School: Museum of Kachidokibashi

      ・・・ Kachidokibashi ・ ・ Tsukiji Outer Market ・ ・ ・ Naval Military Dormitory ・ ・ ・ Naval Medical School Remains

Saah, departure!   Behaved and lined up in a line, inside the Tsukiji hall      March!

I went to a shop famous for shellfish at the market.

It was a large number of people, so I made a reservation.

Everyone was a double circle shop. The wolf is a good woman.

Also, there were many people who wanted to go.

The yakisoba of this shop was delicious!

This is information from a certain teahouse shop.

There was this shrine near the sushi restaurant I went to.

On the right side of the shrine, there was a copper plate painting of Yuonen built by Sadanobu Matsudaira.

It was hard to see because there was a garbage with a fence next to the toilet.

In addition, there is a “Hagiyama” stone monument in the shrine, which was established by the Ministry of Navy at that time (established in 1872).

I was chasing the image.

Sumida River Terrace - Kachidokibashi

[Taro Kachidoki] April 26, 2013 16:22

image.jpg
This is a photo from Kachidokibashi, the starting point of the downstream part of the Sumida River Terrace.

During this season, the fresh green trees and the flowers seen in various places are very beautiful and clean.

It takes about 600m one way from Kachidokibashi to Tsukuda-ohashi Bridge, and you can make a round trip in about 20 minutes even if you walk slowly.

Various people enjoy their terraces, such as those who walk or jogging, those who read or rest on benches, and those who open lunch boxes at lunchtime.

Occasionally, a refreshing breeze swells from the Sumida River, and you can feel the comfort of your skin. How about petit walking? You can relax on the bench, and your heart will be healed very much.

Tokyo Island Market (a variety of specialty products from the Izu Islands, Ogasawara products)

[kimitaku] April 26, 2013 14:00

 “Tokyo Island Market”

Take the Tsukiji 4-chome intersection at Shin-ohashi-dori St. and Harumi-dori St. toward Shimbashi, turn left at the next Ichiba Bridge intersection, Namikidori Street, and are on the right hand in front of the former Odabashi.

The shop is open with the president and staff who came from Izu-Oshima Island for half a year after opening.

What we sell is a product from the islands of Izu. In addition, all Ogasawara's items are rarely seen in Tokyo.

P1000070.JPG

When you ask, it is said that wild plants and fresh fish are lined up depending on the season.

Also, if the ship is canceled due to storms or weather, it will not reach here.

The president is a 300-year-old Kusaya manufacturer at Izu Oshima Haki Port.

There are saury dried saury in the store.

I asked you to talk about the migration of Sanma, pointing to a map of Japan on the wall, explaining the flow of the Kuroshio Current between Oshima and Toshima Island, and that the west wind in winter does not blow Oshima thanks to Izu Peninsula.

 What arrived by boat today

 (Yamana) Then, tomorrow's bamboo shoots

(Dried fish) These include flying fish and whisper of white horse mackerel.

Yesterday, the sea was rough on the island and there was no fresh fish.

(processed products) So, the island chili seaweed karashi soy sauce island shochu camellia oil, etc., I just saw it for the first time.

It seems that people in Chiba Prefecture buy a lot of seaweed for some reason.

 The president

Why don't you take this to me a chili pepper?

It's so spicy that tears come out.

He said with a smile that this is the taste of island peppers.

Here Tsukiji Outer Market is different from the island.

You said your business was too hard.

He said that he would like him to taste "hard kusaya".

Tsukiji TASS Gallery Wakamatsuya Shogo Nakatsuji Exhibition

[Silver] April 24, 2013 19:00

A Color & Color 2 exhibition is being held at Wakamatsuya in Tsukiji 6-chome, familiar.

The period is from 4/22 to 4/27, 2013.

The writer, Shogo Nakatsuji, lives in Kachidoki and has a picture of Kachidokibashi, but since ancient times I have loved Kabukiza, and I have heard that he drew emotions rather than the scenery. The atmosphere of the picture is round with no corners, and the color is warm. He studied graphic art at university, worked for a major advertising company, and has been exhibited at numerous art exhibitions.

This time, we will exhibit a wonderful collection of works related to Chuo-ku.

CIMG1673.jpg
Today, I would like to introduce the works exhibited in the window glass on the way to work and the works that attracted them.

The first is Kachidokibashi, the home of Shogo Nakatsuji.

CIMG1674.jpgAnd the old Kabukiza Theater that Nakatsuji loved all the time.

The scenery of Ginza 4-chome Wako and Ginza Mitsukoshi is also bright, warm and soft.

A landscape of a leisurely holiday in a pedestrian paradise in Ginza, and a mother and daughter smiling at Ricoh's Ring Cube. It's a pleasure to be able to appreciate the fine depiction! This kind of depiction loves the actual picture, and "Oh, it's really nice! "The one who wants you to be impressed is the person who understands art. Indeed, it is a wonderful group of works that use bright colors, warm your heart and calm down.

Have you been living a long life recently? Why don't you aim for a relaxed and round life?

If you like it, please come to Wakamatsuya Gallery at Tsukiji 6-chome. Click here for information on how to get to the shop. http://www.g-wakamatsuya.com/gallery.html

"Tsukiji Spring Festival" is held from April 27 to May 3.

[Apricot peony] April 24, 2013 14:00

The Spring Festival in Tsukiji Outer Market has become an annual event.
This year is an enlarged version of the Golden Week from April 27 to May 3, partly due to the 750th anniversary of Shinran Saints in Honganji Temple.
ck1203_1304231.jpg
First of all, for the three days from April 27 to 29, "750 Square" appears on the precincts of Honganji Temple!

A large collection of local gourmets from Iwate, Miyagi, Fukushima and neighboring prefectures of Tokyo.
Local characters will also be gathered.

In the out-of-market market, the “750 Fair” will be held from April 27 to May 2.
Special items are packed, and luxurious products are won by lottery for every 1,000 yen receipt.

And I was waiting on May 3rd! "Half price market".

vk1203_1304232.jpg

The gem of each store's specialty is a half price, you can't sell it.
This half price market is expected to be very crowded.

I will teach you the unique techniques of the local area.
①The half price market starts at 10 o'clock, so before that, get a list of half price items of each store and a flyer of a map.

②Check the flyer and prioritize the items you want to buy.
→Most of them are limited in quantity, so they line up from stores that are likely to disappear soon.
Egg-yaki "Matsuro" is very popular, so if you do other shopping, it may be sold out.

③A hurry → The narrow roads are crowded, so it may be faster to go around the other side of Harumi-dori St. or Shin-ohashi-dori St.

④If you want to take a break, go to Tsukiji River Park or Higashiginza. → There are few places where you can sit down and calm down in the market, so if the weather is nice, go to Tsukiji River Park in Hongan Teraura.
It is a calm place where the bustle of the market is like a lie, with a lot of greenery and birds singing.
Also, if you walk 5-6 minutes, Higashiginza is home to the hottest spot Kabukiza, and there are a number of cafes and restaurants around the area where you can slowly settle down.

stamp rally commemorating the 50th anniversary of Higashi-Ginza Station is also being held.

I'll have to go to Tsukiji during Golden Week!
