2018 "Yae-zakura" flowering

[Sam] April 6, 2018 12:00

P4040667ELS'.jpgDSC_0234SQRS'G.jpg The so-called Satozakura, which is mainly planted on the shores of the pond in the Hamarikyu Garden, from the "Oden Bridge" in the "Tide Pond" to the "Seaman Oden Bridge" in Yokobori, has begun to bloom. Was.

There are many varieties that bloom brilliantly, and most of the ones called "Yae-zakura" belong to this group.

In addition to the large pure white double "White Myo", the white to light pink "Kazuha", the light red "Fugen Elephant", the red "Sekiyama", the yellow "Utsukin", and the light green "Yae-zakura".

The petals are folded in multiple layers, and the branches are in full bloom, creating a slightly different atmosphere from Yoshino cherry tree.

On the high speed

Tsukushi is the name of the spores stem of horsetail. In kanji, the word "tsuko" is applied from its origin, and the word "tsukushi" is applied from the appearance.

tukus201801.JPG

In the past (), in the spring, you could see as many as you like on the banks of the river, but recently, if you find it actually grows, you will be a little excited.

tukus201807.JPG

The Tsukushi appeared in the planting area of Tsukiji River Kamei Bridge Park, a park built beside Kamei Bridge.

Under the bridge and park, there is the Metropolitan Expressway Toshin Beltway.

tukus201808.JPG

In this area, the horsetail always stretches green leaves during this season, but I never saw Tsukushi.

tukus201809.JPG

In the photo below, horsetail buds are sprouting around Tsukushi.

tukus201804.JPG

According to books, both Tsukushi and Sugina are connected by underground stem, and there are many cases where Tsukushi does not come out and only Sugina grows.

tukus201806.JPG

What was the great swarm of Tsukushi, a spring tradition that I saw as a matter of course in the past?

In any case, it's spring performance.

2018 "World Autism Awareness Day" Light It Up Blue

[Sam] April 4, 2018 12:00

P4020656ELS'.jpgDSC02249RS'G.jpg "World Autism Awareness Day" on April 2, which was resolved at the United Nations General Assembly held on December 18, 2007 at the proposal of Queen Qatar.

From April 2 to 8, as a week for raising awareness of developmental disorders such as autism, awareness-raising activities such as holding symposiums in various places are widely conducted, and efforts are being made to realize a society where everyone can live happily. Has been implemented.

On the night of the 2nd, Tokyo Tower is dyed blue, a symbol color for activities seeking understanding of autism, and from the Sumida River Terrace in Kachidoki, you can see the fantastic "Diamond Ver Aqua Blue" shining over Tsukiji Ohashi.

Blue means "healing" and "hope", and I heard that the "Light It Up Blue Campaign" will be held at more than 100 facilities nationwide on this day.

Hana peach flowering, the best time to see it is now

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] April 3, 2018 14:00

hanam201801.JPG

On the Tsukiji River site, Tsukiji 2-chome side between Tsukijibashi and Irifunebashi, Hana Momo began to bloom colorfully this year.

It is the pink part of the map below.

hanam201800.jpg

Three colors, darker and clearer pink than Yoshino cherry tree, and white and red, shine in the sun.

hanam201802.JPG

The flower peach around here is broom-standing, and many flowers bloom on branches extending toward the sky.

hanam201803.JPG

Hana peaches in front of "Weird Hotel Tokyo Ginza", which just opened in February this year, and "Ginza Capital Hotel Main Building" seem to be blooming particularly quickly.

hanam201804.JPG

It is the same as Yoshino cherry tree that blooms before the leaves are put out, but the appearance of blooming so tightly that it covers the branches is wonderful.

hanam201805.JPG

As of March 30, it is not in full bloom yet, so you can enjoy Hana Momo for a while.

When you come to Tsukiji 2-chome or Shintomi 2-chome, please stop by and take a look.

A delicious Italian lunch [Saposen Tudiaki]

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] April 1, 2018 16:00

It is "Saposen Tudiaki", an authentic Italian restaurant located in Tsukiji 1-chome.

sapor201801.JPG

1-3-6 Tsukiji The first floor of Maeda Building. It's just a short walk from Heisei Street.

It's the red on the map below.

sapor201807.jpg

Before, I introduced the lunch menu on this blog.

sapor201802.JPG

Today, I would like to introduce the lunch menu.

sapor201803.JPG

The lunch menu comes with salad and bread.

The acidity of the dressing accentuates the crispness of vegetables.

sapor201804.JPG

Today, choose "Risotto of clams, shrimp, and basil paste"

sapor201805.JPG

The scent of basil paste is refreshing and springy, and goes well with seafood.

We had a delicious lunch

sapor201806.JPG

Coffee and dessert will be ordered differently from the lunch menu.
