Machiishi and Chozubachi under the Ginza Pedestrian Bridge

[TAKK...] January 29, 2013 08:30

At the foot of the pedestrian bridge (Ginza Tokimeki Bridge) on the Ginza 7-chome intersection on Showa-dori, the remain excavated from the Shiodome ruins is displayed.

●Machiishi and cut stones (stones used for stone walls and earth retaining)

It was used in the stone groove (drainage facility) of the Daimyo residence.

 ●Chozubachi

tyouzu2.jpg

Excavated from the upper residence of the Wakisaka family in Harima Tatsuno Domain (Hyogo Prefecture).
Characters such as "Consecration, Hadan fan crest (Haneuchiwamon), ○ Tsukiyoshi ○" are engraved.

The Shiodome archeological site was excavated in accordance with the development plan of the Shiodome area in Minato-ku.
It was reclaimed after the great fire of the Meiryaku era, and is the place where various clans set up their residences since the middle of the Edo period.
Why are Machiishi and Chozubachi excavated from the Shiodome area of Minato-ku displayed under the Ginza Tokimeki Bridge, a little far away?
I don't know that, but how to display each stone, such as how to place each stone, is very unique?
It seems to be decorated as a kind of monument rather than historical materials.

There is no place in the city where you can see remain, which was used in Samurai residence during the Edo period.
 I think it's worth a look.

Looking back on the 2012 Tokyo Marathon

[Ryokichi] January 25, 2013 09:00

I can't wait for the Tokyo Marathon in winter, and I'm one of those runners.

I can't run this year after losing the lottery, but last year I was lucky enough to participate in the Tokyo Marathon 2012.

I would like to report mainly on the Chuo-ku section while delaying.

Application will be made in August of the previous year, and lottery results will be announced in October. The magnification of recent lottery seems to be quite severe. There was time since the start was confirmed, so I practiced here and there, mainly around the Sumida River Terrace. In addition, I divided the test run of the course into several times. In the last few months, I also participated in other races and started the race with the ability to run as competitive as distance.

And on the day. Fortunately, I was able to race in an environment where the weather was good and easy to run. There is no problem with your physical condition. At 9:10 in the morning, we started in Shinjuku, Tokyo Metropolitan Government. The race itself went in the same way as his personal best time.

If you pass through the guard of Yurakucho at 21km, you will enter Chuo-ku. Heading to the intersection of Ginza 4-chome and heading to Nihonbashi on Chuo-dori is the most exciting area. An atmosphere that you can't taste in other marathons. Cheering does not stop even if you go from Kayabacho toward Ningyocho. Hamacho is close to my home, so it has family support. Head to Asakusabashi and go to Taito-ku once. When you come back from Asakusa again, it's more than 30 km and it gets harder and harder. Again, cheer for the family. I will do my best for the voice of the people along the road. Take the intersection of Ginza 4-chome toward Higashiginza, pass through Tsukiji, Tsukuda-ohashi Bridge, Asashio Ohashi, and go to Koto-ku. This area is 36 km.

Then it will be my last work. My feet were close to my limit and I couldn't do it, but I managed to hold it to Tokyo Big Sight and scored in 3 hours and 7 minutes. I'm happy to have a new record for the first time in a long time. It was a fun 42.195km. And one day I would like to open the 2-hour range.

The Chuo-ku section is an important section from the middle to the end, and is also a fun section. The pleasure of the scenery and the support of the roadside helped the players quite a bit. Especially when I was running in Ginza, I was impressed. I want to participate in the Tokyo Marathon again, and want to run more in Chuo-ku.

I will support you very hard this year. It's lonely that I can't run.

In Yae no Sakura Edo, my brother is Shozan Sakuma, Kaishu Katsu, and Yoshida Shoin.

[Silver] January 18, 2013 14:00

NHK's Taiga drama series "Yae no Sakura" broadcast on TV has started.

In the first part, there was a scene where my brother Kakuma Yamamoto visited Shozan Sakuma Juku in Kibiki-cho to learn Western artillery. I would like to introduce some of the people I met during Kakuma Yamamoto's stay in Edo.

Please see here for the explanation board of Shozan Sakuma Juku, which was introduced at the time of Ryoma Den earlier. http://www.chuo-kanko.or.jp/guide/spot/ginza/ginza_18.html

At the same time, Kaishu Katsu and Sakamoto Ryoma also attended Shozan Sakuma Juku.

Kaishu Katsu later became the president of Tsukiji's warship training center.

Please see here for the ruins of a prison in Temmacho, where Yoshida Shoin was trapped, dreaming of flying abroad.

Through this Taiga drama series, I would like not only to learn about the history of late Tokugawa shogunate in the Edo period, but also to think about the people of the Aizu clan who are involved in the rejection of the Emperor and the flow of defeat.

In the Ryomaden aired a few years ago, Sakamoto Ryoma, who was from a lower-class samurai, heard that in the United States, he was able to choose the president directly in the election, and in order to realize Japan ideal for the United States, he participated in the movement if there was only a defeat in cooperation with the male clan such as Satsuma. For more information about historical sites related to Ryoma, please refer to my blog report.

At the Fukushima Prefecture Yaesu Tourist Exchange Center, an antenna shop in Fukushima Prefecture on Sotobori-dori St., there was also a poster explaining Yae Niijima. Please drop in.

Lunch at Brassley Paul Bocuz

[Mapo ★] January 18, 2013 09:00

A restaurant in Paul Boques, with its head office in Lyon, France.

There's a ham here in the year-end gift at a department store.

Ginza is located on the 10th floor of Marronnier Gate.

Because it's a brasserie, it's not a smart French restaurant but a common feeling.

There are also lunch sets that cost 2000 yen.★

Vegetables are made of kurubet nage and refreshing vegetable bouillon jelly

Krubet swims little shrimp and Nage swims.

The white sauce at the bottom was sour and delicious (*^^*)

Fresh baked bread, olive oil, and chicken lever putty

I prefer chickens to pigs.

The main one is a chicken thigh cock ovan and a breast pochette

Along with broccoli echube with a light garlic scent.

Cock ovan is stewed with red wine, and stewed with steamed dishes.♪

Chardonnay (900 yen for vizaglass) because it is not enough with pre-eating sake alone.

The dessert is a mush Paul Poques claimbree.

It's up to coffee★

The reception staff was very friendly and pleasant.♪

I want to go to Lyon's shop once★

Organic lunch at Funkel's Mud Samurai Kitchen

[Mapo ★] January 16, 2013 09:00

An organic cafe in the basement of FANCL Square in Ginza, Mud Samurai Kitchen

It was a little late lunch, so we had a limited 20 meals.

The plate of "Winter Beautiful de Food" was sold out.

That's why I made the vege power plate (with drink) 980 yen.

There are many vegetables that I can't eat, so I asked what kind of vegetables I use (laughs).

The fried food is burdock and lotus root.

Steamed vegetables are paprika, potatoes, carrots, sweet potatoes, eringi, green beans

And the raw is tomatoes, lettuce and green leaves.

And arranged rice with germinated rice.

I'm glad! I can eat other than tomato and green beans (laughs).

The drink is ginger lemon tea.

Mug with plenty of quantity♪

I thought it was too light, but I was full.

And both body and mind are healthy★

It is recommended here because it is easy for one person to enter (*^^*)
